This place is so Yummy!!! I have tried their Gelato cakes as wells as so many of their flavors, and I must say, I love them all! Not only is it so amazingly delicious but the employers are so nice and attentive. They will let you sample all the flavors until you are happy with what you want.

This little corner shop sports some of the best gelato we’ve ever tasted! My favorite is a sugar cone with a scoop of crème brulee and a scoop of blackberry sorbet. There are many flavors to choose, so it’s not an easy decision but you wouldn’t be disappointed with any of them — -mango, strawberry, raspberry, even rice! The pastries, cookies, tarts, and cakes are good as well. They also serve specialty coffees here. One almost feels transported back to Europe as this place really has the ambiance of a small Italian café!

Definitely a must place while visiting Seattle! The friendly staff helped me to choose which flavour I should go for with their enough knowledge. I was not brave enough to get one scoop of rice flavour, but next time I will do :)

The reviews don’t lie! When we were visiting, we brought the LA weather with us. The locals seemed perfectly happy but after walking miles through downtown on foot, we were ready to beat the heat and grab something cold. The interior is cute, clean and modern. I can see how it could easily get crowded, but we came at an off time so there was empty seating both inside and out. We were instantly greeted by a super friendly woman behind the counter and she encouraged us to try as many flavors as we wanted. I started with the sorbets since I was craving something fruity. The lemon and blackberry were both awesome and probably would have made for a delicious combination. I settled for the yogurt & berries, which was the perfect blend of fruity and creamy. The consistency was smooth and excellent, with no iciness or quick melting issues. I love that you get two mix-or-match scoops in the size small — it was the perfect serving size and a reasonable price. I’d be in serious trouble if I lived nearby. I’m keeping it bookmarked for any future trips so I can try their other desserts and some coffee.

5 stars. One of my Seattle favs. Gelatiamo is located downtown, walkable from Pike Place market and the major hotels. A must for any tourist. The place can get crowded so pick the right time. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The space is clean and there are plenty of flavors to sample. After sampling extensively I picked the pistachio and chocolate coconut. Both were delicious, highly recommended. The prices are reasonable. A must for anyone.

Must get: Rice gelato. Sounds weird, but it works! This is also one of the few dessert establishments where I was happy to pay the tip, so you know the service is spectacular! This is going to be one of the places I will make a special trip to the next time I’m in Seattle.

My favorite gelato place in Seattle downtown. Love their Dolomiti, orange cream, mango, tiramisu, lemon gelato. Their chocolate is also great! All pastries look so pretty!

I stumbled upon this place with my friends walking around Seattle. We just decided to get some gelato once we saw it. They have a decent amount of gelato a to choose from, as well as some pastries and drinks. I’m a coffee and chocolate guy, so I got the cappuccino and chocolate hazelnut gelato and i must say, it was absolutely delicious. It was fairly priced, so if anyone is craving something cold in the area, this is a great place to go!

Very cute and busy place downtown. The line was fairly long but moved quickly, and there was plenty of seating(both indoor and outdoor). They have about 10 types of gelato. The small size includes 2 scoops– so you can mix and match. The salted caramel and coconut were great! They also have a ton of other goodies that I wouldn’t mind trying or taking home.

Absolutely outstanding Gelato and Sorbets. Very friendly staff, loads of options to choose from that keep changing and surprisingly affordable considering the location. My favorites are the Passionfruit Sorbet, the Cappuccino Gelato with a shot of Espresso(Affogato) and the Hazelnut. A must stop if you’re craving some yumminess on a hot day(or cold day or rainy day) in Settle.

I checked this place out while I was in town on business. I am strongly considering moving to Seattle because of it.(Only a half lie.) It’s just so hard to find somewhere as authentic as this where I live in the midwest. And when you do, it’s usually a taco stand or something of the like. I think I have one«authentic» Italian cuisine of any sort within my city limits, and it’s a sad excuse for a wallet drain over romantic candles. I digress. This place is perfect. I got an affogato with hazelnut, and a cannoli to go. I have ashamedly never experienced an affogato, but I’m fairly certain my life will never be the same. I’m also fairly certain I’ll never find another affogato of this standard; the gelato itself was so creamy and perfect, with just the right balance of flavor. Forget anything you know about gelato from those pints of Talenti at the grocery store — this is what gelato should be. I will say there is limited seating, and the young lady behind the counter(though friendly) legitimately did not remember my face 15 seconds after having a conversation with her. But maybe that’s just an addendum to the authentic European experience.

This place has mastered true Italian gelato flavors. And trust me as I was born and raised in Italy. Great customer service. Try to choose some less-known mainstream flavors and gear towards their more Italian flavors. You won’t regret it. It is probably going to become one of my Seattle go-to gelaterias.

I’ve passed by here numerous times without entering. What in the holy name of bacon was I thinking?! Don’t pass this up. I give five stars for excellent customer service and delicious gelato! It’s so creamy as gelato should be. They’ve a wide variety of flavors available. They offer loads of other delectable desserts, too. The interior is lovely and modern. There is a good amount of seating. I can see myself setting up shop to work whilst in the city or just to kill time.

The best Gelateria in Seattle. This is my 3rd time coming to this gelato shop. When we came last night it was almost 10:00pm there was a long line but it didn’t take too long to get served. The workers are very welcoming and friendly and has a clean interior. We were immediately greeted and offered samples to help narrow down our choices. The gelato we tasted were all very smooth, true to flavor and not too overwhelming. Though most of them are so good, my ultimate favorite was the Tiramisu, second was the Pistachio. Gelatiamo is a small shop but really divine gelato with quality ingredients, not to mention their pastries are delicious too! A great stop when you are around downtown.

Gelatiamo — featured in the 2nd issue of «Poor Decisions during Zombie Apocalypse» Spread your wings, stretch yr hands, and put on yr freakin halo dis shit here will get you high and in the sky. Don’t sample too much because then your body will wanna clone itself in three so it can have all the flavors. THEY’REALLNICE. Flavorful, but not too sweet. I had the rice and pistachio flavors in a small cup. Don’t be a fool, the«small» is still plenty, with two big scoops. The rice flavor was reminiscent of the sweet rice pudding my ancestry lays down on the line after Chinese New Year. Got some bits of rice mixed in with the gelato for good measure. It’s one of their most popular flavors, and at first, I was a bit skeptical. I ordered it anyway to uphold my lineage and the flavor grew on me tremendously and left a buck fiddy in what I thought gelato could be. The pistachio was freakin pistachio. If ya like pistachios, you’ll love this. It tastes just like pistachios. It’s been endorsed by pistachios. It’s what all pistachios should aspire to be. NOT themselves. They all having an identity crisis. Good for them. Gelatiamo serves gelato but the flavor’s fuego. Eat enough of this and your body will hit the snooze button while it’s awake. DOITBIG. 5

This is a must, especially after an awesome steak dinner. Dolomiti($ 5.50) It comes with 2 scoops of your choice, expresso, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, all in one cup. The expresso takes it to a different level. When you’re choosing your ice cream flavors, feel free to ask them to sample as many as you’d like. They’re super friendly, and it doesn’t hurt getting some extra ice cream in your belly. You can eat your ice cream and watch the foot traffic of downtown Seattle. Love it!

At first glance, Gelatiamo could easily pass as a high end bakery. The glass cases, high ceilings, and dark wooden accents had a clean modern look that showcased the colorful and creamy collection of gelato beautifully. Our server was welcoming and friendly and she encouraged us to sample multiple flavors, since I had such a difficult time choosing. Even though the most popular flavor is chocolate chip, I ended up with a medium size salted caramel, rice, and peppermint combination. The raspberry and blackberry flavors would have been my next targets, but I kept my fruity tendencies in check that night. All the flavors were absolutely delicious — intense, velvety, and all reflective of their true flavors. Surprisingly, rice was the most memorable for me. It was insanely thick and creamy and worked well with the rice bits running through. It almost tasted like extra thick Cool Whip, but in the best possible way! The salted caramel was probably the best I’ve had with a rich flavor, almost reminiscent of crème brûlée. They serve their gelato in silver cone-shaped dishes and also offer a variety of other cakes and pastries. There’s a good amount of seating inside and the prices are affordable, ranging from ~$ 4 – 6 for the gelato. My only gripe was that I couldn’t box up Gelatiamo and take them back home with me to San Francisco. Until next time!
