Good food, fantastic service. We loved the pizza here — fresh ingredients, nice crunchy + chewy crust, albeit a tad smaller than what we expected.

Don’t bother. The pizza is good but it’s served up with rudeness and lousy customer service. No thank you.

Review for delivery only. We are staying at a house in Seward Park and wanted pizza. Used the online order and was here in about 50 minutes. I had the Charles and have to say was an excellent pizza. Would definitely order from again.

Does this place really need another review? Some of the best pizza I’ve had since I moved here. Really super friendly staff, nice beer and cocktail selection. Had the mothership and the meat was smoky, deliciousness! The beet salad was for sure the highlight which is quite ironic, but thrilled they offer some really good salad options too. Loved all the artwork on the walls as well.

Love this place. Great salads and pizza. I’ve never had a bad dish. I only wish they would deliver. But then I would have to be removed from my home via crane.

We read great reviews and ordered a pizza today when it was dead quite at Flying Squirrel Pizza. #5 ordered over the phone, they confirmed it was pasteurized cheese for my pregnant wife(we realized it says this in the menu afterwards)…what could go wrong? Pizza came with a sprinkle of cheese, huge chunks of pork, a few onions, heaps of cilantro on thin crispy bread, and no sauce. Not a hint of lime that we could tell. Please order sauce with this pizza or just buy fried flatbread with pulled pork on it somewhere that is served. Service was great or it would be 1 star.

Tried the No.5 pizza with the pulled pork, red onions, cilantro, etc., and it was awesome! This may be my new favorite neighborhood pizza spot. I also tried the crab dip and it was everything and more… and the breadsticks it comes with are to die for!!!

Unilocal says they are closed today but I found out they were open 10−3pm for brunch. Great pizza!

This review is for the Maple Leaf location. I want to like this place, I really do! So if I was rating this place just on the food, this rating would probably be a 4.5, the pizza is that good! They have awesome choices, gluten-free crust, and the meats all come from local vendors. They have pretty decent beers on tap, and if you bring a personally made mixed tape(TAPEPEOPLE, DOTHEYEVENMAKETHOSEANYMORE?!) you get a small percentage off your bill. Pretty cool, eh? So why the low score, the service is pretty bad. Ok, not pretty bad, it was really bad. Every time my husband and I have come in we get treated as we are some big burden. We came here twice(on weekdays), and each time it was the same treatment, the passive-aggressiveness, the annoyed look, and when I was paying for a to-go order on our 2nd visit, they chastised us for not having our credit card ready the minute we walked in. I’m sorry, I really like the food here, but being treated poorly has its limits. Probably never coming back…

Carry out large pepperoni. They were busy for a Sunday evening. Good service. Very casual probably know you by name after a few visits. Good local crowd. Pizza was great.

Perfect pizzas. Always reliable. High quality ingredients and toppings. Really good crust. Flying Squirrel Pizza sets the bar for Seattle. Great staff and good beers on tap(incl. Georgetown’s Lucille IPA). Favorite pizzas include the Sofia, the #6, and the margherita + pepperoni. And the cheese pizza here is perfect too. Not ashamed to say we go here every week or so. Want to get salads every time as well, but tbh they can be hit or miss and are simply not on par with the pizza — but again the pizza is great! Bring your empty beer growler with you too! And it’s aways fun to grab a pint while waiting for takeout if you can’t dine in.

Absolutely love this pizza. My best friend has celiac so this is a great place for both of us. Organic and local ingredients are all super tasty! They always have interesting beers and ciders on tap which is awesome! Also their garlic cheesy bread is out of this world. 10⁄10

Local, East Coast quality pizza. Find it here. The staff is super friendly. The owners care about the neighborhood(so much they are opening a second non-pizza restaurant down the street) and the beer is always fresh. I like my pizza well done. Gives the crust a little extra crunch. Love it.

Always great. Their take-out is speedy(15mins at 6:30pm!), their pizza is delicious and the quality ingredients are worth the price tag, the service has always been great for us, and we go maybe once a month. We love the No. 9 but swap pork sausage for the chicken sausage.

This pizza isn’t terrible but $ 26 for a large pie is pretty offensive. I’m sure the ingredients are good quality but that does not actually equate to $ 30 for a large pie. It stumps me that the cost of food is so high in a city where the food never measures up to the price tag. I’d really love it if places could check themselves against other restaurants maybe in other cities to see how they stack up. This place is no Roberta’s and yet they are pricier than that.

Comfortable vibe. Great music. Happy to have a full bar in the neighborhood! Great options for vegans/vegetarians.

3 Stars because the food was delicious. The crab dip is simply amazing and the pizza was tasty, full of thick sausage and perfect crust. It would have been a 2-star had it been only for the service. Everyone seemed annoyed to be at work and just«blah». Not friendly at all and definitely won’t go out of their way for you. You get a nod and a point and that’s about it. Cool atmosphere, though. I loved looking at all the paintings and the bathroom is pretty nifty, too. Definitely will come here again for the food, but will most likely not stay for the service.

Excellent delivery service in that the delivery guy in person does not accept tips(however you are given the option to tip him when you pay via Credit Card) — Flying Squirrel’s interface is very clean and simple and easy to use as well. Pizza was pricier but more gourmet and healthier with gluten-free option then you’ll get ordering from Domino’s or Pizza Hut(the only other options if you live on N Beacon Hill, short of using a Bitesquad or Eat24 delivery service).

11 of us just got done with a fun bike ride so we were hungry! The food was 3, the service on the other hand was a 1. And somehow a table that came later than us ate and left before we even had been served. Waitress was friendly but we waited about an hour and 15 to get our pizza. Our friends waited much longer than us, pizza was burned, so second round pizza was brought missing one of the toppings, funny thing their pizza was the simplest sausage, mushrooms, spinach… kids were in tears from the long wait. Although impressed they comped their pizza, we really appreciated that. Maybe bad night for them.

I want to love this place, but they make it impossible. Fun space and location,(sometimes) great pizza, a few good beers on tap and they sell growlers. As others mention, the food quality is highly variable. Some days you get an awesome pizza, sometimes you get dried out cardboard with way too few toppings and pay $ 25 for it. Even worse though, the service has gradually declined to the point of pure incompetence. Of the last five times I have done take out they have, I kid you not, flubbed the order all five times. Sometimes they get the toppings or entire order wrong, twice they forget to even make the pizza and when I show up 20 minutes after ordering they realize it and throw it in the oven. It’s totally disappointing because they could have a really good thing, and are one of the only games for good pizza down here. But until they have their management problems sorted out we are done.

Just as good as the review said! Ordered takeout and tried the appetizer meatballs. They were to die for. Lots of extra sauce which we gladly soaked up with our pizza crusts and bread we had at home. The crust was light and airy and tasted better than homemade, but also tasted extremely homemade. Will be back for seconds!

Inventive, fresh selections on a thin, crispy crust. Very fast when we ordered to takeout in the early evening last Sunday. We ordered 2 half and half pizzas– eartha kitt and the farm — to satisfy the pizza lovers with vegetarian tastes. The other pizza was half of a #10(bacon, artisan ham, roasted chicken, etc) & the other half the Mothership(see menu for the plentiful ingredients). The latter was gone faster than I could grab a bite to comment, so suffice it to say it was a hit with the dudes in the family. The family loved the pizza — which were both quickly devoured! My favorite was the eartha kitt– marinated portabello mushrooms with spinach, mozzarella and ricotta! My mouth is watering thinking of it days later.

Went here on a Tuesday evening and it wasn’t too crowded. They have a bar in the front of their restaurant and 2 other rooms. This place is quite spacious! I would definitely recommend it great for groups. What’s handy is that you can split the pizza with two different toppings. We got the regular size(16 inches, personal is 9 inches) with REM and Mothership. We also got an appetizer — dungeness crab dip. This was pretty nice, not too creamy cheesey. I wish there were more chunks of crab, but it was still nice to start with this. There were red peppers in the dip that made it have a nice balance. The Mothership is a meaty pizza with pepperoni, salami, ham, pork sausage, mozzarella, basil, and sauce. Definitely a heavier pizza with spice. The REM had basil pesto sauce, Portobello mushrooms, red peppers, red onions, goat cheese, and mozzarella. I really liked the REM but I’m biased towards mushrooms and pesto. Overall a pleasant experience. I’m sure we’ll be back because it’s within walking distance of my boyfriend’s house. I also noticed they also sell growlers!

Service was great, prompt and our waitress was really nice and friendly. Husband ordered a personal specialty pizza and had no complaints. I had a gluten free pizza. The crust was burned black around the edges and the sauce tasted like generic spaghetti sauce. The cheese was awesome and I was completely pleased with how much cheese and pepperoni were included. I’d go back!

Gave this location another shot tonight and what a mistake that was! My online order was yet again messed up. I was told they made me the wrong pizza at arrival and told it would be a 7 minute wait. 30 minutes later, I went up to the cashier who was apologizing profusely along with the manager to another patron who they gave a $ 30 gift card to and a free ice cream. After about 5 minutes of standing there, I waived the bartender down and had them check on my order. Well I got my order and a bit of attitude in the end, but certainly no apologies for messing up yet again. This location seriously needs to step up their game, since I’ve had the worst luck. So bad service and OK pizza. My half and half pizza was soggy and only half cut.
