The 5 stars is for the Torta because it’s really hard to find a good torta around here! They are relatively fast and oh so tasty! My partner has gotten their burrito as well as sopitos and he loved them too.

Umm they are closed. I was very excited to try it but when I walked down for lunch they were closed.

These tacos are damn delightful. We have tried many taco trucks in Seattle and this one is our favorite by far. Others put too much seasoning or make their food spicy just as a baseline, but El Naranjo doesn’t do either of those. We will continue to drive across town for these tacos!

Casual, delicious, cheap, and great service. One of my favorite places!

Really good prices if you want a quick food truck meal. My favorite is the chicken quesadilla. The burrito(both wet and dry) look more appealing than they actually are. The nachos I would avoid(they use fake cheese sauce like at 7 – 11. For awesome nachos goto Chili Pepper restaurant on N45th St in Wallingford). I’ve gone here many times though and will go back for the good quesadilla, good portion sizes, low price, convenient location, quick service, friendly staff and the fact that they accept credit cards.

Mediocre food at a good price. However better food for a little bit more can be had in the neighborhood.

My review is based off of their burritos, as that’s all I’ve tried so far. I tried the marinated pork burrito with sour cream, cheese and avocado. The beans and rice inside lacked flavor and there wasn’t as much meat as I prefer. All in all, it satisfied my hunger, but just didn’t wow me at all. I’ll go back eventually and try their taco platter…

Best tacos around. After dozens of attempts to find a place that even begins to compare, I always wind up back here.

Very generous portions. My only want would be having fresh salsa offered as a side. My veggie burrito could have used a little kick. My husband & I are from VA and visiting Seattle for the summer, driving around Greenlake, looking for somewhere to eat with our dog and what a pleasant surprise, finding food truck with outdoor seating under shaded canopy. Great street food and dog friendly.

This is my favorite truck! It’s the most authentic and tasty street food you can get outside of Mexico. The prices are amazingly low, the service is great, and you can sit by the lake and enjoy your food and the view! Highly recommended.

This is a great little food truck at the Shell station on Aurora. Great value for the food. I had the carne asada combination and it was delicious. Don’t judge a book by its cover. It doesn’t look like much, but it will surprise you.

I just did my first open water swim in 2014 yesterday in Greenlake! After a scary, short swim by the shore, a group of us headed over to El Naranjo from the bathhouse theater parking lot. Well, since I didn’t work out as hard as the rest of my peers, I decided just to get two chicken tacos. I am telling you, taco trucks are the best! I wasn’t not that hungry. My two tacos really fed me well. Just slight bigger than my palm, very well-marinated chicken, and nicely-toasted tortilla. I loved it! I wish I could have eaten more! But, again, I didn’t deserve it this time! I will have to overcome the fear of open water and come back for a HUGE meal!

Ok, I probably eat here about 3 – 4 times a week on average now, so I’m kicking up the rating due to the value prop. Again, good food by nice people at reasonable prices!

Ridiculously inexpensive, healthy food. About the same quality/prices as other Mexican/Latin food trucks. Fresh cilantro makes so much difference. Why do taco bells exist when there are places like this?

Great food at a reasonable price. It’s kind of a hidden gem but I love taking friends and family here.

El Naranjo is hands down my favorite food truck this side of the Sound. Quality food, always tastes fresh, and the staff is very friendly. Orenzio is good peoples! The tacos are perfect, the burritos hefty and satisfying, and I challenge you to find a better torta in Seattle. The meat selection is great anyway you go: carne asada, chicken, carnitas, etc., try them all, as well as their homemade sauces. Very reasonably priced, and conveniently located at the northiest part of Greenlake. Viva El Naranjo! (Credit cards now accepted $ 5 min)

$ 0.99 tacos? Uno mas! Stopped by for a snack and tried their tacos al pastor. Pretty good, not the best I’ve had but I love that it’s in my neighborhood. Tasty homemade sauces as well. I’ll be back to try their tortas! Located in the Shell gas station parking lot. Cash only.

Not bad, not bad ATALL! I had the tongue and chicken tacos and both had really awesome flavor. If you’ve never had tongue, just imagine the tenderest beef ever. I also had a bottle of this carbonated«Sangria» drink they had which was delicious! My husband is vegetarian and he had the veggie burrito, which was tasty but maybe some fried tofu would have added to it a little. I’m so glad we live close to this taco truck. We will definitely be returning.
