These are delicious, especially at 2:30 in the morning after a night of dancing and drinking. These really hit the spot and make a mean Seattle dog.

Hot dogs are my favorite food, but these hot dogs are the best I’ve ever had hands down. Go for a hotdog topped with cream cheese and carmelized onions and your night will be made

Seattle Hot Dogs That Continue To Satisfy! SITREP Enjoying another night trooping around Capitol Hill, catching friends, DJs and fun between The Baltic, The Comet Tavern and The Mercury. All this walking, drinking & dancing is making me thirsty. So enter… COMETDOGS These guys are great, set-up nearby the Comet Tavern, providing a bounty of Hot Dogs, Polish Sausages, Hot Links and Bratwursts with condiments to your heart’s content. LESTYLE The first thing on the bun — as any good Seattlelite knows, is CREAMCHEESE. Nothing tones down the spiciness of a Hot Link, Tabasco sauce, Sriracha, or jalapenos like a good layer of cream cheese. And then add on the sauer kraut, and hot mustards, and you got a perfect dog! THELOWDOWN Comet Dogs keeps the«Hot» in hot dogs goin!

Had their veggie dog and my husband had their normal hotdog? I’m not too sure what it’s called. But we were both very happy. Will definitely go back.

This is a solid place to grab a hot dog after clubbing but to me, it doesn’t compare to the hot dog stand outside Neighbors which has many more flavors. The guy here is always nice though, there’s plenty of people watching to be had and if you want a more«traditional Seattle style hot dog,» this is a good spot to be.

Pretty good hot dogs. especially late night. The guy wasn’t too friendly, but then again there was a huge line. Cream cheese and carmelized onions is a delicious hot dog combination. and then they have good dill relish and sauces and whatnot to add to your hot dog. It was pretty good but I think Haute Dog Girl in Kirkland is better, though that’s not a stand. This place makes some good food for being a little stand on a corner. I would definitely go back after a night of drinking.

Hit these brothers up, especially after hours on a weekend. They’ve been a fav. of mine since moving to the hood in ’08…as a 17 year plus veg, best I’ve ever had. Cheers!

–It’s what you want after beer –It’s unhealthy –It’s filling –It’s cheap –It’s fast –It’s messy Choose your wiener(beef, hot link, etc.) Optional cream cheese and grilled onions. Put some condiments on top. Now put it in your mouth, chew, and swallow. Congratulations, you just had an awesome hot dog!

I go here now when I’m out on the weekends, because the dude across the street(Mad Dogs?) was rude to me. This place is pretty standard and similar to everyone else on the Hill. They cut a slit in the dog, which is a good way to get it cooked all the way through. Some weekends, I see a funny looking older dude working behind the stand. Other nights, there’s this total hot babe of a guy who I always see with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. He’s enough of a reason to come back.

These guys are owed a beer for the many nights they’ve been friendly, helpful and just downright sweet to every drunkard that comes through their cart! I once dropped my hot dog in a state of fuzziness, and they replaced it right away. No charge. I suppose it’s easier than hearing a whiny girl sob. And the grilled onions! I’ve tried to replicate it at home, to no success. The cherry on top are the sriracha, mayo, bbq, special mustard and fixings available. Now if they only had sweet pickled corn or some fake bacon, my universe would be complete.

Simplicity at it’s finest. They have kraut, vegan sausages, ketchup, onions, mustard… I’m gold. After long night of concert going/bar hopping in capitol hill, this is what I want… oh…and the bun… bun is important too. This was the first hot dog stand that I noticed in the area and the first one i knew to have vegan options… i play favorites and this hot dog stand has my loyalty.

The hot dogs are nothing special and the guy was working last night was an ass. Maybe if I came by when I was drunk I’d think it was a better deal, but, don’t bother coming buy if you’re any shade of sober.

Great service, great hot dogs. What more could you want from a ‘drunken’ cart stop on the way home!!!

You can’t complain about this stand. Good quality dogs for a great price, $ 5 for any dog I believe. Multiple options beef, polish, hot link and even veggie. Friendly service and a good sort of condiments. And of course they have cream cheese. The good ol Seattle staple. If you’re at the Comet or Neumos stop by this place.

The best damn hot dog in the city. Each dog is only $ 5, and comes with cream cheese if wanted –a unique ingredient that I highly recommend trying. The best part is that the stand is open late every night, and very quick service.

This sounds disgusting. Cream cheese hot dog. Most major mainland cities have their own hot-dog specialty and this combo is one of Seattle’s late-night comfort foods. These are guaranteed to soak up the liquor in your belly and tide you over for the cab ride home, thus are sold at stands all over the city(nearest in vicinity to clubs and bars). The one we visited happened to be nearest to the liquor establishment we left in Capitol Hill — look for it just a block past the bum holding the sign and yelling«Shit man, WTF?!» The ambiance and the company of the other patrons while waiting in line for your dog smothered in creamy white cheese can’t be beat and I’ll begrudgingly admit — they were delicious! And if you’re as happy with them as we were, don’t forget to leave something extra for the chef … he’s got a jar just for it labeled«just the tip»! #04/365

Guilty Pleasure. How good can a 2am Polish hot dog with cream cheese and grilled onions taste? Pretty amazing, and that’s not the beer talking either. Although it cost $ 5, the dog was sizeable and filling. It took a slow paced 1 hour wait and experiencing attitude from the late night hot dog guy(he wasn’t too polite too polite to my group and the guy in front of me, is all I’ll leave it at), but was well-worth the interesting experience. Next time I’d like to try Monster Dog to see how it compares.
