some of the nicest people in seattle, always smiling and joking adound. I come here when I get stressed at work and I want to feel like I am at home. the spicy chicken teriyaki is wonderful, such good flavor. I have never left disappointed.

Cute little place I stopped by for lunch while exploring the city. The owner and his wife were very friendly. I tried out the bulgogi gyro with a strawberry-mango smoothie. There was a lot going on in the menus so I couldn’t find the prices as quickly. I was a bit surprised when my total came out to about $ 17 but decided it’d be worth the try. Overall, the meal was good but I wouldn’t pay the same amount again. The bulgogi had a sweet flavor that blended well with the veggies in the gyro. If I were to return, I’d like to try a different item on the menu.

The owner of this place is super friendly and warm. My BF and I got the teriyaki chicken, the reuben, and some gyoza. The gyoza was deep fried, but I didn’t really like it. I was hoping it would be pan fried. The gyoza wrap was kind of tough since it was deep fried. The teriyaki chicken, though, was pretty good. The reuben was ok, so I don’t think we’ll order it again. But I’d like to try their infamous bulgogi gyro, and there aren’t a lot of options for teriyaki in the area, so we’d most likely come back.

More like 3.5 stars for today’s order but the place has potential so rounding it up. Service was very friendly, however, it took about 20 mins, so definitely not fast food. Overall, it was tasty but the jap chae was clumpy and the bulgogi gyro was nothing too special. On the plus size, the portions were larger than average and very filling. The café is relatively small with I think 4 tables inside, some counter seating, and a couple tables outside. Wouldn’t mind coming back for late night cravings since they now stay open until 2am.

I visited this place during my 5 days trip. It’s located 2 blocks away from my AirBnB room. I ordered the pork ramen and it’s really good. I would definitely visit this place again.

I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic! I order the chicken teriyaki and wasn’t disappointed. The only down side was it took a little long to get the food but all is forgiven with the quality of the food. I know I’ll definitely be back!

Personally, my experience was really great. I found them on Unilocal and thought«korean food and coffee? Score!» When I walked in, the vibe was very homey and you can tell it’s a favorite with the locals. The are pictures all over the walls and there’s a big map that you can pin where you’re from. It really shows how many people come here. The owners were very nice. When it came time for me to order I had to really think about what I wanted. Was it too early for ramyun? Was I feeling breakfasty still? And then I saw it: Bulgogi Gyro – «Only in Seattle». Only in Seattle? More like only in Belltown because how many Korean-Mediterranean Cafés do you know of? It was DELICIOUS. Packed full of bulgogi and fries on the side. Even though I loved my food, I found myself scanning the menu more. There was a pretty good sounding bulgogi kimchee wrap on there. I’ll come back and try it again for sure!

Convenient little place(seating for 9 max?) for coffee, fresh fruit smoothies, and specializing in Korean style food and also teriyaki. Almost every food item is above $ 9.99 which is a couple bucks up from what you’d expect for a teriyaki joint. They have a very cool wall with a map of pins where visitors mark where they’re from, and it looks like the pay homage to their repeat customers, as they have walls covered decoratively with black and white photos of their own smiling customers. This is a place where Belltown locals can conveniently grab a bite to go after work.

Sad to see the quality at this get little café has declined. The prices has gone up a bit and the portion size is still large but the amount of meat and vegetables have become scarce. I would rather pay even more if her quality was at the level it used to be. The owner is still really nice and I will go back but I hope things get better again.

I wish I saw this place earlier during my visit here in Seattle. Definitely a hole in the wall place with a variety of delicious food! Their menu ranges from breakfast-dinner. The prices are affordable and the portions are perfect. My family and I came for Dinner and we ordered from the Asian menu, recommended by the owners! Everything was made in a timely manner and hit the spot. They also give you the option in making your food spicy which is a PLUS! I recommend the Bulgogi platter or the Ramen if you want a soup. Lastly, my family and I were able to meet and talk to the family that owns this place and they are truly a sweet family. They really make you feel at home and they really value you as a customer. They are now one of the reasons I want to come back and visit Seattle. So if your ever in the area, come try this place! If the food doesn’t get you(which I’m sure it will), the customer service will definitely make you fall in love with this place!

bulgogi gyros(what??!) I was browsing for a dinner spot when I came across café belltown. Decided to stop by one night for dinner with the family and was very disappointed. The café is very small and quaint with maybe a max of 6 tables. The owner and her husband are both very sweet people but the food was so subpar! We had a party of 4 and ordered 2 bibimbaps, 1 bulgogi plate and a yakisoba. The bibimbap was almost flavorless with about 2 pieces of chicken. There was not enough toppings for the rice. The yakisoba had two pieces of broccoli and no meat. Are you serious? $ 10 for plain noodles! We ended up spending $ 52(before tip!!) for a party of 4… needless to say I don’t think we will be returning!

For anyone else curious about the restaurant’s fusion-style, I asked Jackie about it and here’s what she told me. The previous owner was Algerian, and after she bought the restaurant she added her Korean flair to the menu.

Tiny little place with an odd selection of food under the same roof. I really like quirky places like this. I’ve only stopped in for a coffee, but am interested in coming back to try the food out. The folks behind the counter were certainly friendly and seem genuinely happy that you’re in their café.

The ambience was tight and smelly which can kill the purpose of a good coffee. Their chai is awesome. People behind the register are nice and friendly

I have walked by his place 3x a week for the past year and never thought of stopping in. Hard to judge from the outside; is it a café? A teriyaki joint? Can’t be both, can it? It is. And it is done well. Step inside and be greeting by a warm smile that radiates from the owner, Jackie. She walked me through her menu step by step. Asked; how hungry are you? What does your wife like? And did I mention I was ordering for takeout. Ordered up and on my way in 10. Delicious food, right size portion. I won’t walk by again,

Sweet spot in the middle of Bell Town that offers up some delicious Japanese/Korean Food. I usually get the bulgogi gyro which is my favorite thing on their menu to date. They also offer it spicy too! Their spicy chicken kimchi fried rice is also tasty. The portion is generous and the fried egg atop is a nice addition. The owners are always so nice and gracious.
