I love the ambience, the service, and the people of this place. It is definitely one of my faves for these reasons. The two stars is caused by my inability to work as a result of connectivity issues. I originally thought this was simply my dinosaur computer, however, my new phone cannot get a signal strong enough to allow me to use the wireless network. It is super frustrating, would love to be able to enjoy a coffee and work for a bit. Can’t do this here.

This place is so darn cute it makes me so sad I don’t live nearby! I stumbled upon this place by chance when I was in West Seattle one day and was able to get lots of work done is a super cozy environment. Oh yeah, and the coffee is good and cheap and the staff is so laid back. I can’t wait to visit again!

Great dog friendly coffee house tucked in a residential area. Local hang out type, however visitors were very welcomed. I loved that thrive are allowed inside with their people! Coffee was magnificent!

I usually have a wonderful experience coming here, however one particular lady who works here has been giving me the impression she don’t like her job very much, The few times I’ve come in to this place she’s always trying to rush myself and coworkers out the door. This place has great coffee, and is convenient but lacks the friendliness. it would be a 5 star if the warm personality was their.

I walk by this place all of the time and it took me awhile to get around to checking it out. It’s adorable. Good vibe inside if you just want to lounge around and read or something. Unfortunately, the coffee was not great. I had a cappuccino and it was super bitter. Maybe I just got a bad shot or some other drinks were better. If you’re super picky about your coffee, this might not be your place. If you’re looking for atmosphere, then you found it!

Worst coffee I’ve ever had. I had to throw it out, the foam was so dry it was insane. I know I sound stuck up writing this but I promise you it was that bad, and pricey. I could see how some people like the setting– it is a big shop with a community feel so that would be the upside.

Excellent coffee. Comfortable atmosphere; it’s an old house so it naturally has that«homey» feel plus there’s a couple different rooms to hang out in, each with its own charm. They have live music and such in the evenings(usually around 7pm); check their website for details. I definitely suggest stopping by! Come for the delicious drinks, stay for the cool ambiance. :)

Oh how I wish I still lived in West Seattle… This place is magical. The owners are personable and kind. They’ve even offered for me to pay next time I came in because I didn’t meet the $ 5 min charge for cards… Wow! I only wish they were open later. But people have lives

I’ve always had a great experience at C & P. Particularly, I enjoy coming here in the summer with my dog and sitting in the backyard with an iced americano. The staff is super friendly and Addie(owner’s dog) always puts a smile on people’s faces. They have a lot of cozy seating indoors that feels like you’re hanging out in a friend’s living room. If you’re looking for a coffee spot in West Seattle, skip Starbucks and try out this place instead.

The coffee is what brings me in, but I stay for the atmosphere. There’s nothing better than a grey, dreary, Seattle Sunday spent inside a quaint coffee shop with an americano and a good book. C&P is the perfect place for that! It’s amazingly cozy and plenty of people watching opportunities arise as well. If you need a second home, head on over.

I’ve been here twice this week. It has a pleasant atmosphere and good coffee. But if you need to use wifi then forget about it. Both times with correct password I could not log on. The baristas both times didn’t know anything other than the password. I had to ask other customers for insights. One woman told me to try a network that wasnt listed. I found a hidden network, punched in the name she told me and it worked. The girl barista today was totally useless, pretending to be interested when i told her how to fix the problem. But when another customer had the same problem as me, she didn’t help him at all and just repeated the password once more. Soon after this my network connection fizzled and i couldn’t get back on at all. What a waste of time and a cup of coffee.

What a cute little spot! I popped in here to meet a friend recently and was so pleased with the place. It’s an old transformed home so you get the coffee shop back where the kitchen would have been and the rest of the spaces on the first level serve as little nooks and areas to have coffee and enjoy the company of friends. There’s soft seating, window seating, outdoor seating, and more. Really cozy and quaint! The latte I had hit the spot and while I did manage to resist the temptation, there are sweet and savory baked offerings to choose from as well. Scones, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and even yogurt and granola cups. If you’re here with family or non-coffee drinkers, they also serve tea and have a fridge of pre-packaged waters, juices, and various other options.

I deliver food to a ton of local Seattle cafes and coffee shops, so I have a decent idea of good coffee and coffee house culture. This is easily my favorite coffee house in Seattle. The coffee is exactly the way I love it, very strong and smoky european style blends, and none of that over-hyped single origin that tastes so earthy it might as well be hot mud. The iced Americano is by far one of the best coffee products I’ve tasted. George, who always makes my morning brighter, is an amazing person with a great attitude and demeanor. His knack for taking care of his customers could teach the fancy baristas of downtown a few things for sure. The venue itself is one major draw factor, its 100% genuine funky remodeled house, the front lawn and porch has been converted to tables and seating, the inside has the original woodwork and hearth and rotating artwork. This place is the perfect blend of comfort, funky and relaxing. You walk thru the door and it feels like HOME. And you are treated like family. Places in Ballard and Fremont aspire to be as cool as this place already is, but they will never achieve it, ever! Hipsters, go ahead and be offended, but please stay the hell away from this place with your silly tats, single speed bikes, and outdated clothes. You will only ruin it and complain the entire time as you do so. Stick to your bacon themes and interweb memes, and go to your corner starbucks. But if you do invade, I will still love and support this place… i cant help it

This was the first place I’ve been to that sold beer, wine AND coffee. My latte was great, they have they’re own coffee blend that you can also buy off the shelf. My favorite thing about the place has to be the shop itself, it’s homey, calm, and not crowded at all. Parking might be a little tricky since its in a residential area, you might have to drive around to find a spot.

What an incredible place! I’ve driven by this cute little house, set up from the street, for the past few years never knowing what I was missing. A small patio upfront as you walk in with an intimate, well laid out interior and nice patio out back make this a perfect place to work on the computer or relax with a coffee, glass/bottle of wine or beer. Great food and pastry selection only outdone by the attentive friendly staff. Jillian is wonderful and the owner Pete seems to know most of the clients by name. Rotating art on the walls and a roster of regular live music make this a relaxing place to chill. Highly recommended, I’ll definitely be back.

Came here thinking there was parking but turned out those parking is only for take out(15 mins). It was pretty difficult getting parking even on a quiet weekday so that was a bummer. The place inside is big, tons of seating, big tables, chairs and kid chairs too. Great for group meetings, studying and working. Was a bit disappointed with the menu, would have liked more food choices and coffee choices too. I had the chai which was bland and small but pricey. My husbands cappuccino was better. I would come here again if I needed seating and wifi but maybe not solely for drinks.

Love the fact you can get Lighthouse Roasters coffee here, what a big plus that pushes an easy 4 star to 5 star for me. It’s a very relaxing place to just read the paper, drink coffee and chat with the locals. There’s a laid back atmosphere at C&P where there’s plenty of character in the large wood tables that all seem to be antiques. They have some pastries here and you can get a chocolate croissant or a cinnamon roll or an other assortment of pastries.

Love this place! I visit C&P on my work from home days when I need to stay focused and get out of the house. I love coming here to visit, it’s like being in someone’s house with nook and crannies and different types of seating options. The main place to order is in the back, you’ll go in to the left and around the way. They have lots of drink options, but the food selection is limited. I know they also have beer and wine options which is nice because the space is enjoyable no matter what the time! There is a place to sit outside, both on the front lawn and in the back patio. There is only one bathroom in the entire place though, but this really isn’t much of a line normally.
