Great Stumptown Coffee and somehow there’s never much of a wait. Monkey enjoy the challenge of steering clear of the cupcakes and zeroing in on my fix. Gotta have it. Great friendly service, plenty of tables and clean restrooms.

Only had a drip coffee, stopping in during the West Seattle Summer Fair. DRIPCOFFEE: 2.0. Tasted old and burnt. Next time I’ll try an espresso. SERVICE: 3.5. Fast and courteous. AMBIANCE: 4.0. Plenty of room, and electrical outlets.

First time I’ve ever been here and was served the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had. Not anywhere near where I live but I’ll be back. Hopefully they are consistent. The cupcakes are great too.

Friendly woman at the counter, tasty machiatto, and a killer coffee cake to boot. It is an excellent pregame for the farmers market every Sunday right across the street.

One of my favorite lattes in town, and without a doubt the best service. Not sure what the lady’s name is, but she’s seriously the nicest person ever. Super informative, and clearly loves what she does. I’ve had a cupcake here, too, and it was delicious. But the coffee is what keeps bringing me back!

«Whoa!» I thought. A cupcake place earning five stars for its coffee? I figured it was really for the cupcakes, but Man! The cappuccino I received this morning was brilliantly potent and had absolutely no bitterness. The service was perfect with genuinely friendly people who just wanted to make my day awesome by starting it with a sweet cup. Seriously, I wanted to begin long-distance friendships with both of them! The chill atmosphere was also a refreshing change from coffee shops exploding with loud conversations and multiple machines. I will never stereotype a cupcake joint again!

Good coffee, plenty of seats and outlets to get some work done — it was just a bit difficult to find because it’s part of Cupcake Royale, which had a more obvious sign.

Had a lemon drop cupcake with coffee. The cake part was nice and moist. Lots and Lots of icing on top… Yummmm…The atmosphere is a great local neighborhood vibe. They also have FREE Wi-Fi!

I love this place. Not only is the coffee great, but the people are. Unlike some other coffee shops, I can actually have a real conversation with the baristas who work there. They also take pride in their work. Verite is always clean and welcoming. It’s a great place for me to spend hours writing, reading, and grading papers. Although I’m not a fan of sweets, I do enjoy the huge cupcakes they sell there. I have to share it though since I can’t eat that much. The best part is that since I moved, Verite is walking distance from my house.

i have two cupcakes a day: one at home, and one at Verite. Then i take my children there and buy all six of them a mini cupcake. the kids usually like to eat the wrappers from the cupcakes, but i tell them not to and they listen to me because i’m an adult. then i take the wrappers and eat them secretly in the bathroom and they are super delicious. great atmosphere and coffee and everything else too is just bomb.

I have two cups of coffee a day: one at home, and one at Verite. Theirs is always better than mine. I asked the lady at the counter howcome. She said, «It’s because we make it with love.» I said, «Aah. There’s the problem. Mine is made with spite and self-loathing.» Moral: don’t come to my house for coffee. Go to Verite.

It’s like they put crack in those cupcakes… I swear if you have one you’ll be selling your children by the end of the week to get more.
