The food wasn’t too bad but it’s a little expensive for the portions you get. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Platter and based on quality/portions, it’s probably more reasonable to be priced at $ 7 vs $ 13.

BBQ platter only came with one type of meat. BBQ and the corn muffin were good, but the Mac n Cheese was flavorless.

the sandwich is pretty good. healthy proportion of meat on the pulled pork sandwich. it’s actually in really good ratio with the bread of the sandwich which i believe was a nice ciabatta roll. the bottom of the sandwich gets super soggy really quick, so i had to eat mine upside down. the slaw didn’t taste very good, but it might be because i have a cold and think my tastebuds are a little f’ed these days. the little raisins did taste good though. the bbq sauce on the sandwich is good, i pumped out two little extra of those small little tiny plastic containers and ended up putting more sauce on the sandwich as i ate. the sandwich came out super duper fast. she said that the cook heard my order, so it was ready immediately after i got done paying. the payment systems is really quick. i think it’s that Square payment system. whoever the payment processor is, i hate it. it’s tablet-based, so you are forced to pick from the automatic 10%, 15%, or 20% tip amounts before you can sign. or pick the«no tip» button that makes you feel like a total f’ing loser and a miserable cheapskate right in front of the person you’re supposedly giving your tip to. i took my food to go, so there was no wait service given to me while i didn’t dine there. so the whole idea of the tip is completely baffling to me. pretty soon taco bell and McDonalds cash registers will be asking for a tip too. you sign your name on the tablet with your finger and it’s super fast. but again, i just hate these forced-tip-when-there-is-no-value-added-wait-service-with-taking-food-to-go systems. If i knew it was going to be like that, i would probably have paid cash and taken my change. overall i’m probably more like a 3.5 star at best, but since i have a cold that probably hindered my ability to taste the food properly, i give the benefit of doubt, with the plan to return when my cold is gone, and pay with cash and round up to 4 stars.

I ordered the rubbed chicken BBQ with Macaroni and cheese as a side. I hate to say horrible but the chicken was horrible. It wasn’t even hot. The only saving grace was with the honey muffin which was«good». This was at the Seattle Center food center. I ordered around 11AM on a Saturday just as they opened. I’ve never been to the Seattle center to eat in this area but I knew I liked BBQ so ordered there. An hour later there were lines at every food vendor except for Bigfoot BBQ. I guess that’s a pretty good indicator that they are horrible too. I’ll never eat there again. I ended up throwing away the chicken having only eaten a quarter of what was on the plate. Very disappointing considering everyone in my group had food from other vendors and enjoyed what they had,

Having love for all meats slow roasted until they are totally devoid of structural integrity, I was destined to enjoy my sandwich at big foot BBQ. My roots are sunk in the south east at the moment and experiencing some northwestern nuance when it comes to BBQ. Sandwich was fall apart good, my ciabata-esque roll was grilled and the slaw was great, highlighting some of the Washington apples and raisins from grape country in the mix. Would eat again. Plus the staff was great!

I should have known when there was no line at lunch time when all the other stands at the Armory were busy I was in for a bad experience. Being from Arkansas and visiting Texas and Memphis, TN quiet often I know what good BBQ is, and this is nowhere near being it, I tried the Applewood smoked brisket and it was indeed smoked with wood, could I tell if it was applewood no. The brisket was way way over smokey so smokey that you could not taste the meat at all, the meat was borderline dry and instead of the traditional Texas style of slicing was served chopped and slathered in sauce, the only reason I knew the meat was dry was for the fact I hit a pocket of meat the sauce had not reached. I ordered the combo plate which came with a choice of side and a cornbread muffin all for $ 12 a little on the high side for BBQ, but I am sure that comes from the overhead and being in a tourist trap location. I ordered the Mac and Cheese which was a large portion and made with large shells instead of elbow macaroni with a white chedder sauce and sprinkled with bacon, I was excited to try it but sadly was quickly let down as it was lukewarm and the sauce was gritty. Word to the wise if you order the mac and cheese and see what looks to be a nice big piece of cheese off to the side by the cornbread, don’t eat it it is the honey butter they serve for the muffin but do not separate or tell you what it is and it happens to be the same color as the cheese sauce needless to say my mouth was not happy to bite into a glop of pure fat. All in all I do not recommend this place to anyone and will just say this is one bigfoot that should go back into hiding.

No brisket on a Saturday!!! I Got the pork sandwhich and it was ok at best. Mac and cheese side was so oily I could only take a few bites. The coleslaw had zero flavor. I would never come back. For comparative analysis I am using RoRo’s BBQ on Stone in the Wallingford district for a reference.
