I don’t understand why we were second in line for nearly 5 minutes? It seemed like the staff was overwhelmed from the back because they were running into each other and seemed disorderly. Finally, we were able to get our drinks and leave. The people in line were definitely not feelin’ it.

Starbucks will always be Starbucks! Good coffee for a high price. All worth it though!

This Starbucks does everything a Starbucks is supposed to do. It’s clean, they get the drinks out as fast as they possibly can, the staff are always friendly, and the drinks are consistently up to brand standards. This Starbucks can get some pretty seriously out of control lines depending on when you’re in here and if a huge group of tourists just rolled in, but they do a very good job of handling it when that happens. If that happens you’re going to be waiting a minute for your drink, but they’re not slow; just seriously backed up. The place is never understaffed, which is a big plus – they aren’t playing fast and loose with their customers time to save a few bucks. The few times I’ve seen it backed up were for situations they couldn’t possibly have anticipated, like tour buses. The one complaint I have about this location is that one of the male baristas is simply too good looking. When he takes my order I have a hard time remembering words, which is embarrassing. It’s kind of like looking at the sun – it’s so pretty, but it hurts because it’s just too bright. Albeit, the man has never failed to handle his job like a pro, just, when he’s around my «Can I get a grande mocha» becomes more like«Abah bah bah… coffee…uhh…» and he gets this smile like, «Yea, I get that all the time, and it never gets less amusing», which makes him even better looking. It’s a vicious circle of verbal incapacitation. But overall, this is pretty much a Grade A Starbucks. You will get what you came for, it will happen in a reasonable amount of time, and it will taste as good as any Starbucks you’ve ever ordered. Would recommend.

Format-wise, this Starbucks is pretty par for course. However, the barista was, really, very nice and was friendly in a way that makes you feel like you’re best of friends by the time you pick up your goods. I wish I remembered his name but he was stand-out sweet! Combine that with the fact that he slid over and speedily made me one of the better lattes I’ve had in my life makes me wish I lived closer! I went in this evening at, about, 5:45p and he was the only male barista there. If the supervisors from this location ever visit this page, he’s a coffee keeper!

Located inside the Armory section of the Seattle Center. After my disappointment at the other coffee shop(see review). I came here to get my latte. Naturally the line ups were long, however, moved at a decent pace for a busy afternoon.

I think I’m being very generous giving this place two stars and the only reason why I’m doing so is because I had such a great time while in Seattle. This Starbucks being in a busy tourist location should have more than 3 working employees, there were 4 employees in the store, but one of them wasn’t doing anything, so I can’t say he was actually«working». The line up here was insanely long, the woman in front of me was complaining about that to one of the employees and all she got back was a condescending response back. The only cashier took forever, she kept squinting at the screen and while I ordered three items I only received two. I understand not everyone has 20⁄20 vision, but come on. On top of that my cup was full of espresso finger prints and white mocha stickiness… could have at least wiped down the cup or poured my drink into a new clean cup. No one likes sticky hands.

Crow and I Just picked up our usuals; Venti Soy Decaf Americano Misto W/sugar free hazelnut syrup. They gave me mine so on with the ritual I went to put in my 2 packs of Equal just to discover my drink was only about ¾ of the the way full. That’s a Grande in my book. Staff corrected it after arguing with me that no, it was a Venti since the cup was a Venti: p Anyway I don’t understand why Starbucks(at some locations) doesn’t even try anymore. I miss My old Starbucks experience of Zen and Happy Rituals and Competent, Happy Staff . I still Love you Starbucks, I am very loyal, but come on, step it up and be like when you were fresh and new

This is one of the Starbucks that makes my drinks good(S’mores frap and Javachips). Customer service deserves a 4 star considering this is one of the busiest stores I’ve been to(only been here on weekends so I’m not sure if they’re this busy on weekdays). However, this would not be my first choice of location to go to cause it’s right in the Seattle Center. It gets really crazyyy, super packed! Guaranteed you’ll have to wait in line at least 20 – 30 minutes(if you’re lucky) to order and to get your drink. Also this location does not have street access.

This is crazy busy! The line curls and slithers along. I say if you’re not too desperate best to avoid. There’s more *bux* nearby!

Always very busy and a long long line. They need a 2nd barista working the bar especially on busy sunny weekends.

I really like this Starbucks. Even when they have a tremendous line they are staffed and ready to keep it moving. The food and drinks come out quickly. I almost always order a black ice tea with no sweetener and most of the staff know that. They are friendly, consistent, and efficient. Five stars for this shop.

This place gets crowded! The good thing is that they have a pitcher of water and cups to go if that’s all you want or you’re too much in a hurry to wait around for an actual drink! otherwise it’s a typical starbucks!

The drinks are true to the Starbucks experience but as the sole coffee provider to the armory this is the slowest Starbucks since the market. What’s more the waiting area is very small because of the layout of this location, so it is challenging to examine the few things that this Starbucks brings to the table, like the old Bumbershoot posters. I may return but it will be under protest, as I don’t think there is any reason to be stacked in line for thirty minutes for coffee I’m not excited about. Starbucks take it from your Unilocalers, this location could do even better if it was larger, laid out better, and had even more tourist y attractions(like the posters) while we wait in line.

Well, I’ve already been here a few times — so I may do a Unilocal about it. It’s a typical Starbucks — a bit on the smaller side. During any event at the Seattle Center, this place can get very busy. So busy that what little space is available in the store is used up by people either waiting for coffee or waiting to order coffee. One thing I like about this place is they’re open late on Friday and Saturday, till 10pm. Perfect for those late night events at the Science Center, or Glass Garden. One time I went there during late night, and the two people there were friendly, and having a good time, even though it’s approaching the end of the day. One extra star for having friendly staff and service. :-)

I’ve visted this Starbucks on multiple occasions, it’s allways super busy but I’ve only been on Saturdays or Sundays. The lines can be a bit slow, sometimes only one cashier is open. The wait for your drink is even longer typically but they have a lot of merchandise so I can usually entertain myself by looking through that as I wait. I’ve had to have my drink remade here before, which I rarely do… but it was just wrong wrong wrong. The second go round it tasted as it should. If you’re in the Seattle Center Armory and want coffee it’s a decent stop overall.

This store has everything you hope to find in any Starbucks. What makes it a little different is of course, it’s at Seattle Center. I think this is one of the friendliest locations that I’ve encountered. The 4 stars is not because of the staff and the product. I think the space is too small and laid out poorly. First, there is a door on the South side of the building. The problem is that the door brings people directly into the coffee waiting area. Oh, by the way, not all of the tourists are familiar with the comforting«coffee waiting area» us Seattle folk know about so that creates strange congestion problem. Second, the other entry is on the North side of the space that comes in from The Armory. This works pretty much as other locations but the line blocks their seating area which is stressful for both those in line and for those who are trying to get in and out of seats. Finally, on the North entrance, the doorway is too narrow because that’s where the line goes. You need a bigger space Starbucks.

Another Starbucks on the corner of Seattle. With high traffic in Seattle Center, the Bistro really knows how to make it flow. The service was quite fast and staff was polite, though my coffee wasn’t as hot as I wanted it to be.
