Hometown Gyros

This is definitely a pick up your order restaurant. However the food is always hot, fresh and delicious. The gyros are awesome as are the Italian beefs. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are great. I grew up eating here and the quality has remained the same even after they changed locations.

This place is great. A classic chicago style restaurant with an extensive menu and quick service. Very friendly people and really good, inexpensive food.

I go here often because it’s fairly good & familiar. They are slightly over-​priced for fast food, in comparison with places in the city. But it’s Sauk Village, IL; where else are you going to go?

I have been in this neighborhood quite a lot for work lately. So I figured I’d hit up one of the local joints. It’s nothing to look at, but those places usually have the best food. I had a Gyros That was pretty good. I think the cucumber sauce is what made it. Not to strong with actual cucumber shreds in it. The fries were good also, but I was confused as to the seasoning salt that was all over them. It didn’t add anything to the taste. The menu was very extensive for such a small place. It went from hot dogs, fried chicken and pasta to submarines and burritos. That kind of worries me for the fact that the food needs to get rotated to stay fresh. Oh well, I found the local dive with good food. That’s what I came for and I would go back if I was in the area.
