Who mops the floor while handling your beverage? A girl was mopping in between scooping ingredients and blending without gloves or washing her hands?! I’m far from a germaphobe, but this just made me really uncomfortable. I ordered the peanut butter pleasure. I couldn’t taste any peanut butter at all, only bananas. I will not be returning to this location. 1. Because they clean while they handle your beverage 2. Because they do not know how to make the smoothies right 3. Because I like Jamba Juice better, lol

Been going to juice. Shack regularly for six or seven years now. In that time I’ve spoken with several employees were very just satisfied with the management and ownership of this chain. The low pay and poor treatment of its employees have caused a lot of dissatisfaction and a high turnover from what I have observed. They have recently raised their prices on all products and removed wheatgrass from my favorite drink without adjusting the price accordingly. I spoke to Joe one of the managers and he explained to me it was necessary for the company to make a profit to raise the prices and lower the quality of certain items because they were not making enough money. I do not believe him and I think this is simply a profit snatching measure. If I hadn’t heard so much negative feedback from staff it would be easier to believe.

Man. i don’t give one star lightly but this place really deserves it. I love wheat grass and it’s not easy to find everywhere, so juice shack is a great place to get a couple shots of Wheatgrass… except at this juiceshack. This whole practice of dipping the grass in water then putting the dripping wet grass into the press makes only water down shots. So for 3 bucks for a double shot you get water with a small amount of actual Wheatgrass juice. I also noticed she used the the yellow part of the grass to make my shots. What a lame way to nickel and dime customers! Shame on juice shack for doing this! The orange juice I order as well was not sweet and fresh but sour and slightly brown. This juice shack needs help

Pretty good juice shop. I tried one of their summer special smoothies and it was really tasty, but I didn’t give it 5 stars for a couple reasons. I didn’t really get it when I walked in… I know its small but a sign to tell you where to order would be nice and if you were greeted or helped in a quicker fashion it would be nice too. The employees were friendly… I just had to awkwardly stand there for a few minutes until one of them would acknowledge me. I also found out you could add some protein and boosters like Jamba Juice but no one told me. I saw it on the sign after I got my juice… tear. But, I would definitely go back and most likely will next time I’m in the area.

My favorite is the Hawaiian Beehive! We always get that when we come. My only pet peeve is that they use what appears to be styrofoam cups… not good for the environment. Jamba Juice has changed their cups to something recyclable, so why not Juice Shack, too?

Went in this AM for a smoothie. First off, strangely there were no prices anywhere for their products… the hand menu, their placard next to the register, etc. After learning that a large smoothie is $ 6.85, I can guess why they don’t advertise their prices. The smoothie was good tasting, similar to Jamba Juice. Second, if I’m paying that amount for a smoothie, at least fill the cup to the top… the employee made too little smoothie for a large cup(½ inch short of the top), but instead of making more, she just quickly snapped on a lid and sent me on my way. My first time in a juice shack, and very disappointing… I’ll stick to Jamba Juice when I need a smoothie on the run(or better yet, make them at home for pennies on the dollar).

Some of my friends were visiting Santa Rosa from San Jose and I was raving about how good Juice Shack was from when I was in High School. My friends bought a whole bunch with high expectations and we were thoroughly disappointed. We got two strawberry smoothies and two peach smoothies, and they tasted horrible! The strawberry one was super sour and something about it did not taste right. The peach one was insanely powdery. It was like they poured a ton of powder in the cup and doused it with a little water. It tasted so bad everyone had to throw theirs away. My friends were horrified with their experience here and I feel really bad about hyping up this place when it tasted so gross.

I was up in Santa Rosa for business meetings all day and wanted to get home quickly and beat any afternoon traffic. Being I didn’t have time to sit down and eat, I decided on a smoothie for an on the go lunch. Juice Shack seemed yippee fun and had a wide variety of menu items from smoothies, to actual pure juices as well as an assortment of healthier snacks, such as Kind Bars, nuts, etc. They do have at least 1 vegan option, which I selected-I believe it had strawberries, banana, soy milk and honey. Staff was friendly, plenty of outdoor seating with a few seats inside(but I had to keep moving) and service was quick and efficient. The smoothie came out thick and was a good filling lunch. I sometimes find Jamba Juice to be too«icey» so this was a welcome change. I don’t we have these over in the East Bay, but maybe they ought to consider opening one. I’d be a customer for sure!

Babe swooped me from work and took me to get my strawberry summit! She knows the way to my fatty heart! Haha love them!!! Sometimes the service is not that great but when you get the drink its worth it!

Really hit or miss. Seems like 1 of 5 times my drink tastes like they just threw random stuff in it. I always order the mango drink and once it had banana in it and last time there were apple chunks. Always jailbait girls that work there, sometimes they are nice, sometimes they give you that«omg I could be texting right now» look. It always seems like there are 2 gossipy girls hanging out and the«quiet one» doing all the work. Price is decent. I like that it’s a local business.

I only go to this juice shack because my work is close by. I do love smoothies and juice shack, but their customer service here SUCKS! there is one girl who is always friendly if i go there, she is a shorter girl, very nice. But all the other employees are rude. they look at you like you are wasting their time. So i wouldn’t recommend going to this location if you can help it.

I don’t really do smoothies anymore. or at least I didn’t think I did until I got a sip of someone’s Mango Maniac. Goodness me, is that thing tasty! But I couldn’t finish a whole large cup of that stuff even if I wanted. Luckily, they offer smoothies in Junior sizes. I went in, ordered, made cheerful chat with the lovely person at the register, and soon had a Junior sized Mango Maniac in my possession. I emptied half of my smoothie into my sister’s cup(even though it’s small, it’s still way more sweetness than I’m used to having in one day) and tried really hard to make my mangoey goodness last as long as possible. It lasted about five minutes. If you like fruity juices, or just need a jolt of something to get you through a day of shopping, this place hits the spot quite nicely.

I love the smoothies here but the people that are employeed just have no customer service skills what so ever. I ordered two smoothies and asked for a carry tray and the girl looked at me like I was asking her to do an impossible task, was it really that hard to bend down and grab the tray? I’ll continue to come here but not as frequently if Jamba juice were closer I’d be there daily!

I used to come here often, but the service level has gone way downhill. I bought a gift card for my babysitter so she could go get smoothies while she was watching my child. They wouldn’t accept their own gift card, said it had no value on it, and she had to pay for her smoothie out of her own pocket. I went back with the gift card and not only did it still have value, they had charged it for her smoothie on top of her paying out of pocket. I asked the store to fix it and they had me call the owner, who said he would research it and then never called me back. POOR service. Now my babysitter gets Starbucks gift cards instead.

A surprising resemblance as you walk in and you get a Jamba feeling. but a more localized atmosphere as you glance around and see the differences. The menu selection was nicely varied and had its own flair that made it quite welcoming. I like it! probably gonna come back and try the other stuff on the menu as well.

This location is better than the one in Montgomery Village, but it is still a hit-or-miss. Usually, the service is fine though, and you receive your smoothie fairly fast. The blends are usually thick and taste fruity, and the usual people that work there have all treated me well. However, as far as smoothies go, they aren’t to die for, but are good enough for a quick drink. The pretzels there are usually a bit stale so I wouldn’t recommend them — get the packaged chips or pirate booty instead. If you do go, I’d recommend the new flavor — it has mango and passion fruit and was the best one I’ve had there yet. Quite yummy.

I have been a customer for years… but no more. I received apathetic service here when it took 20 minutes to get my drinks. I then asked to speak to the manager and was told he could not speak with me. When I later called the«Customer Service» phone number I was appauld to find that all numbers are directed to the same rude person. I spoke with the«manager» and apparently owner of the chain and received an I don’t give a %^&^* attitude laced with rudness. It’s no wonder the staff behaved the way they did. This is a discrace to Sonoma County.
