Good spot in the summer. Always love an outdoor bar on a patio. Mixed drinks are tasty, fun and appropriate for the setting, as are the appetizers.

Cantina is absolutely a tourist trap. Over priced for such a boring food and drinks. Nothing is impressive, don’t be blind with the partial view from the street. Wasted time and money.

Somewhat uninspired cocktail list. Sat att he bar on s busy Friday evening. Drinks ok but not in top 50% of what I’ve had in Santa Fe. Good was very good snd delivered quickly. Problem was poor attitude of head bartender. Never smiled. rude to us and others who managed to catch his attention. Doubt we’ll be back but if we do return we will not sit at the bar.

FANTASTIC! The service was great. The lunch even better! I had the Baja fish tacos and my girlfriend had the shrimp and chorizo fajitas. I’m lucky we shared! :). The atmosphere was great! Highly recommend this rooftop!

We were thirsty and starving, so we headed up to the rooftop. Not a great choice. Just ordered up a few drinks and some chips and guac and had a $ 35 bill. Service was horrible, unattentive, and the chips stale. The recommended drink was fruity and completed with pop rocks. Continue on.

My wife and I took a visiting friend to Santa Fe for the day and ended up here. He was getting a bit beered out and wanted a cocktail so this fit the bill. The cocktails were interesting and it seems like they make their margaritas from scratch. They were not too sweet and had a kick. The food was also good. Especially the chips they serve with the dips. And, despite being home made, they didn’t charge us for a refill on the chips either. My biggest complaint is that, while their cocktail menu was nice, they really lacked in any local beer. Beer felt like an afterthought. Certainly their prerogative but I prefer some better options. Also, unless I missed it, there isn’t much(if any) indoor seating that isn’t part of the attached restaurant. Just be warned if you’re not sure of the weather.

We went here for a cocktail & appetizer. I had the Norteńo Margarita infused with hatch chile oil. It was okay, a bit in the sour side. I normally don’t order margaritas out as my husband makes the best ones sans mix! It was overpriced at $ 9. The beer was only $ 4, which was a good price. We had the chicken wings which were breaded, good but not outstanding. The toastado ceviche was somewhat bland. I did like the mayonnaise on the Toastado though. It was nice sitting at the ledge overlooking the street.

Amazing margarita and amazing atmosphere! We came on a busy Saturday night and found rooftop seating right away! The servers are incredible and extremely helpful. Wonderful way to start off our trip to Santa Fe!

My colleague and I came here to celebrate a job well done and found the perfect place to get our«salud» on. Coyote Rooftop is a cute little, ceiling-less situation with a fun, vibrant atmosphere. The drinks were great, and there was good variety of whimsical, tropical options to get you in the mood. I had a classic margarita on the rocks and wasn’t disappointed. Well worth the price. The chips and salsa do cost extra, and I’m not entirely sold that they were worth it. The salsas weren’t extraordinarily flavorful and the chips REAL thick. Perhaps I’m just not a thick-chip enjoyer… The food was above par of the average Mexican joint. My friend got the fish tacos and myself the carnitas — sold work, for sure. Great flavor, with layers of salty, sweet, smokey and just plain good. At first I though the price was a little much but then outcome the portion size and — whammy — an instant deal. I would definitely make another visit when I’m in Santa Fe.

Disappointed in this place. They wouldn’t let us sit in the rooftop bar and have drinks and appetizers at a table. Used to love this place.

This is one of the best rooftop bars in Santa Fe their cocktails are amazing, and their food is delicious. Unfortunately, their servers are not the best and it can take a long time to get whatever you order. Also, for a restaurant that has such amazing cocktails their summer hours, especially during tourist season are completely unacceptable. However I’m not sure if I should blame the restaurant or the city itself …

Cocktails get 5 stars, food gets 3. A unique and creative cocktail list. Perfect for sipping on the beautiful balcony. My favorites are the coco lopez(their take on a piña colada) and the pink geisha(vodka, watermelon, lychee liqueur and lime juice). One of their signature cocktails is a lava lamp. ½ a pint of Mexican lager, topped with frozen margarita(sounds strange but deliciously refreshing). The food on the other hand is completely mediocre. Nothing special about the Mexican food, average enchiladas(I don’t love the chile), the ribs are both a little fatty & dry, salads are pricey. My advice is go to the cantina for some happy hour cocktails or after dinner drinks. There are plenty of delicious(less expensive) restaurants right around the corner.

Coyote Rooftop Cantina is a great place to while away the afternoon hours with a cocktail, perched among the old adobe Santa Fee Rooftops. If you take a seat along the outside, you can peer down and watch the visitor milling about. If it’s cooler, hunker inside the patio with the heaters and order up some tasty appetizers. You can’t go wrong, here– the Nachos are spectacular! Served with entire stacked tortillas layered with all the good stuff an tons of tender marinated pork. Yum. Be careful, you might not need dinner!

This was my favorite restaurant in Santa Fe! The reason we ended up here is because we heard they served prickly pear margaritas. If you’ve never had one, do yourself a favor and order one. They’re frozen and delicious! We also really enjoyed the queso and Grand Chimi. The queso serving was huge! We had plenty for our group of 4. The Grand Chimi is their chimichanga and it was soooo good! Heads up, the guacamole isn’t worth the price.

Looking for a spot to have a bite and a cool drink after shopping till you drop? Well summon the strength to climb the stairs to the Coyote Rooftop Cantina! The view from the rooftop balcony is nice and relaxing as you sip a mojito and enjoy the vibes of Santa Fe.

I wanted to find a fun, casual hang-out spot in downtown Santa Fe for the summer. The minute I walked onto the Rooftop Cantina, I knew I found just what I was looking for. They’re only open during the summer(for obvious reasons), and that makes the place feel even more festive and special. The food is delicious, and comes in generous, share-able portions. We had the tacos al pastor — which came with four tacos for one order! We also tried the grande chimi, which is a big burrito-sized chimichanga served with Christmas-style sauces. The cocktails were delightful and hit the spot on a warm summer evening. I’ll definitely be back again before the season ends. Summer time = party time.
