Thought we’d give this place a try, spur of the moment. Staff was friendly. Ordered chicken teriyaki bowl and Yakisoba. Portions were huge, but the proteins were overcooked. We went during a SoCal heat wave. The dining area was not cool enough for us to eat-in. Thermostat read 80 degrees, so took our food order to-go.

If you’re planning on eating at or even picking up an order during your 1 hour lunch break, think again. This location is under new management and the new owner needs to learn a thing to two about the service industry. This Teriyaki Madness is surrounded by industrial business parks. Business parks mean business people with tight schedules and limited time. My office is about 5 min from this location. Normally I call in my order ahead of time and just pick it up and pay when I get to the restaurant. This time however, I got a busy signal and after multiple times the phone finally rang and then just went to voicemail. I assumed there was something wrong with their phone system so I just drove up. When I got there, there was a long line of customers not just wanting to place orders but also waiting for orders. The owner was running the cash register. and it seemed like she was giving everyone a 10 — 25% discount because of the long wait for their orders to be prepared. That was clearly not a good sign. While waiting in line, the phone range and the owner just sent the call to voicemail and said that she doesn’t have time to answer the phone. Seriously? She kept making excuses that she didn’t have enough staff. I looked in the kitchen and there were three cooks. She also kept saying that it would be better in a couple of weeks. I have been there plenty of times in the past where the previous owner was the only person manning the cash register and there was only one or two cooks at most — and he didn’t have any trouble fulfilling orders quickly, taking phone orders, etc. After about a 7 min wait I finally got up to the cash register and before placing my order I asked how long the wait would be. She said 20 min! Unbelievable. I told her that I don’t have time to wait that long and that I tried to place my order in advance but I now knew that she was just blowing off the phone calls. So I said this is not good and turned and began walking out. The owner began saying well the next time you come in… Next time?! Maybe when there is another new owner. This owner, by her actions and obviously not being prepared to run the business efficiently, wasted my valuable time. I had just enough time left to fly through the Del Taco drive thru and back to the office for a meeting… lunch would have to wait. I hate when a successful business is taken down by new management. Oh, did I mention that she changed the hours of the business which used to open at 10AM(and still says so on the internet) to 11AM? There was a hand written note on a sheet of paper taped to the counter that said so… Sad.

Hey«new team»…this is your«same epic flavor»!!! This is the new Spicy Chicken… hardly any sauce or flavor, chicken was chewy, veggies were mush, and it took almost 40 minutes… I’ve been a long-time customer, but this is an epic FAIL. Bring back the old stuff!

The family really enjoyed the meals we had. Loved the teriyaki chicken and beef. The veggies were incredible and so was the shrimp tempura!

If I was anyone do not buy the extra meat I got actually as much meat the last time I came here without paying the ripoff 1.99! Scam alert they don’t give you extra meat. Will definitely drive to the flame broiler for now on and they are way better anyways I get the extra meat there and its overflowing with chicken. Stay away from this place take the extra 10 mins and go to flame broiler!

I guess this place is under new management but so far so good. Clean spot, great food, friendly staff. Best fast food teriyaki bowls I’ve had. I will be going back.

Tried this place 3 times. First time was great. The next time the katsu was totally over cooked – dark brown batter just short of being burnt. Gave it one more try and the service was not great. Lots of conversation behind the counter and leaving out the sauce…

Our 2nd time here & food is great! Service was with a smile. We’ll be back! Going to try the Yakusoba next time. And we used a 2 for 1 coupon :)

This has become my favorite restaurant in Santa Clarita for teriyaki chicken. It’s pretty healthy but yet satisfying and affordable. The staff is pretty friendly too. The only negative would be it gets a little warm inside. It would be nice if they could turn the AC up just a bit.

Tried today for the 1st time. I really like the veggies and brown rice. I also like that the chicken was not drowning in the sauce. Just the right amount.

The food was good. Chicken was tender not to dry. The girl at the front had her sunglasses on top of her head. She Had long black hair it was not pulled back and she went back where the food was being prepared. She kept pushing up her sunglasses back up and touching her hair. When she took our order at the front. Before we even got to the counter she said for here or to go. No hello, what can I get you nothing. Never really talked to us just banged on the register and sign here… They need better customer service training along with proper food safety training. They also have a sign that says Unilocal us 5 stars and get a free appetizer. Really… Buying those 5 stars…

Highly unrecommended. Hungry ninja or a street truck is better than this place. The chicken was fatty and obviously not organic or good meat. The portion was small for the price and the teriyaki sauce was pure sugar, thick and glutenized. Yuck! Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere… If you do give it a try at least stay away from their appetizers which are very poorly fried and just plain gross and inedible. I’d honestly be embarrassed to put those on my customers table if it was my restaurant!

Our first stop back in town, after our drive from Santa Barbara this past weekend. A bit slower then the average fast food place, everything is cooked to order here. We both ordered plates, which gives you an enormous amount of food. I had the Orange Chicken with Noodles and Veggies, while Jackie ordered Teriyaki Chicken with all Veggies. Not only did we have food to go, our youngest son benefited by getting my wife’s leftovers for dinner, then half of my leftovers for lunch on his night shift. And I still had enough for my dinner that night. I’ll probably order the bowl on my next visit. We thought everything was very tasty.

Tried Teriyaki Madness last night for the first time, and I must say I was very pleased. I really wanted to try the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, but ended up going with the Orange Chicken Bowl. The orange chicken bowl was delicious. It could have used a little more chicken but was still very good. My wife tried the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl & she said it was also very good. I also ordered a side salad which they forgot to put into my takeout bag, that was my only disappointing part. But overall I was still very happy with the taste & size of the bowl.

I don’t see anything special about this place. The food isn’t fantastic, and it surely is «Teriyaki Madness» because they drench the chicken, which is in fact dark meat. Bland food in my opinion and the soda’s never have any carbonation. I also thought the prices were pretty inflated for what you got and the fact that they use cheap dark meat. Nothing like laying $ 13 bucks for a small, cheap quality meal doused in sodium rich sauce. Can anyone agree that it seems to always be packed too? Might try it again, but I’m not guaranteeing anything. Eh.

Okay so I come here because it’s literally less than a 1⁄3 of a mile. Been here plenty if time and the outcome is always different and never consistent. This time they ran out of teriyaki chicken. Really a teriyaki place running out of teriyaki chicken. I decided I did not want to wait the extra 15mins to get the teriyaki so I opted for the chicken breast with yakisoba. First off the veggies are soggy and flavorless. They have Sriracha so I can get some flavor from there. Please add some salt and possible ground pepper. The thing that disappointed me the most was the chicken. Dry dry dry. At least they have teriyaki sauce available for me to soak the chicken. Probably going to be my last time here.

FOOD: Everytime I come here I get the teriyaki beef bowl with no rice and just veggies. The veggies are very well cooked but are still crunchy which I like very much. The beef is medium thinly cut which is pretty good. The sauce is very sweet which is another plus for me. The teriyaki bowl is about $ 9.45, which isn’t too bad considering that lunch alone is typically around 10 bucks… SERVICE: the gentleman at the counter is very cheerful and is very quick. He makes sure he gets your order right, and not once have I ever had a problem. I tend to come back for the same dish, its so tasty! I LOVEIT. P/S get a loyalty card, and get it hole punched every-time you go in. Also check in on Unilocal for a free entrée! Cheers!

So I’ve been here twice now, 11⁄2015& again(yesterday thinking… hey ill give it another chance as a co-worker of mine was craving teriyaki) I wish I would have went with my gut decision of Jimmy Johns across the shopping center. This place does LOOK appetizing, however both times now I have gotten SICK sick from eating here. I don’t know what it can be other than my stomach just does NOT agree with this joint at all. Not to mention, it is overpriced, tables and floors are crazy sticky… ice machine takes forever for half a cup. I know there are alot of great reviews… so I’m just going to chop it up… to doesn’t sit well«with me» hours and hours after eating here both times my stomach has been in knots! But there will never be a next time. I’m thinking it could very well have been the noodles– super greesy Sorry madness… I really tried!(I wanted to love you)
