This place has the best baklava, very moist. I stop by just for them once in a while.

The beef and lamb gyros was fabulous: flavorful, tender and delicious. The service friendly and fast. Enough said!

I came in and ordered a falafel wrap with no sauce and now believe I confused humus with the sauce. However, when I returned it, they made me a new one with no questions asked. Thank you and sorry if that was the case.

Clean place. Ordered chicken wrap. Chicken tasteless. Sauce tasteless. Fries dripping with oil on the bottom of plate, and some were uncooked. I was looking forward to having a decent quick lunch, but do not recommend.

If you want authentic Turkish food come to Café Falafel! This is my first time eating here and I will definitely be coming back. The service was awesome and it felt like I was in Istanbul in a family restaurant. 5 stars for sure!

I loved my meal so much this weekend I convinced the honey to come back so I could get a couple dishes to-go a couple hours later. Dedication I tell you. We’d been here once before after our last visit to the convention center — so I already knew what I wanted and ordered the Beef Gyro plate. Both times that day it was absolutely mouthwateringly delicious. The bulk of what I eat is carbs and meat due to my dietary restrictions, so when I’m served an entire plate of meat my brain immediately yells«perfection!» and digs in. And it truly was. The serving size was perfect and I enjoyed their butter rice(what little I could have of it after the honey stole mine) and being absolutely starving I’d also ordered the appetizer sampler, which while I enjoyed, I didn’t find their baba ganoush as good as another I had tried elsewhere. The honey said it’s similar to what his grandmothers make in Turkey, so it’s likely not Americanized enough for me ;D The space itself had a goodly amount of seating and the service was incredibly friendly and kind. We have loved all our visits and will definitely keep coming back!

It’s a strip mall middle eastern joint… no frills… so why the 5 stars? The food is authentic and delicious. The Turkish people who run it consistently serve mouthwatering juicy meats, great hummus, and excellent baklawa. If you say hello and are friendly, they will bend over backwards for you. But walk in and act like family and don’t be shy. Don’t expect them to fall over you with the service. This is a casual place, meant to be enjoyed casually. I enjoy the chicken shish, the kofte, and the gyro. I am usually with an Iraqi companion who loves it so you know it’s legit authentic. Definitely support this true«mom and pop» place serving home style food at fair prices.

I had been here a lot of times where I could say it was decent. Decent until the«renovation». This place has been acquired by another owner and after this recent renovation, today was the first time I visited again. I had one of the best Adana Kebab in USA since 2008. It was very juicy, well cooked, delicious and very clean served. I highly recommend you to take a chance to visit and enjoy Kebab here.

Came here with friend again, ordered Adana and kofte kebab plate. I was super hungry and food that I got was fair enough to make me full. Cashier was so nice and friendly, got our food so quick. Will be coming back here again for sure.

Short and concise: OK food, terrible customer experience. Potential for food poisoning. Food here is pretty good, chicken is sometimes a bit dry but usually tender and flavorful. They use a lot of oil in their rice so some people might not like it. But overall pretty authentic Mediterranean food. Service is terrible. Cashier doesn’t care about customers at all, always very angry. Also sometimes they don’t make«plates» and will only sell you a wrap. That’s like half the menu gone. And this was near dinner time. Also, a few of my friends visited this place and got terrible food poisoning. Two of them ended up in the ER. Hasn’t happened to me, but keep that in mind. My tip: Drive a bit more to Sunnyvale and visit Dish n Dash. Better food, better service, no food poisoning.

This place gets as close to an Istanbul restaurant as it gets. Portions are delicious, generous, and well made by actual Turkish cooks. So it is authentic indeed. Mixed grill platter(basically is a combo of all the shish kebabs, doner kebabs, kofte kebab) is actually bigger in reality than in the pictures on the wall. The menu is clearly displayed on pictures on the wall, do you know what to get. Ayran(Mint yougurt milk) comes in very cute metal, authentic cups. Service is very warm and hospitable, just as in Istantbul. Best location also, straight off 101

Ordered a chicken shawerma and falafel plate. I’ll make a simple review. * Falafel plate — Nice big, round falafels. Hummus was pretty good. Comes with pita bread that was baked nicely. * Chicken gyro — Shredded chicken and condiments inside were awesome. BUT it was either too greasy or poured with a lot of olive oil. They did a horrible job of wrapping it up and it fell onto my khakis… so embarrassing going back to work like that lol. I didn’t give it 5 stars because they could’ve used less oil in the gyro and scheduled time to pick it up wasn’t accurate. The lady told me it would take 10 – 15 min. I said it was fine. She turned over to the other guy and started arguing with him – I’m sure it was because they had received my order and not made it in time for pickup. Nonetheless, it’s pretty good food for the price. ***Parking is a b*tch…Make sure you drive with someone if you’re just doing a pick up so they drop you off. Not recommended to go their to eat – it was packed and people were waiting. Plus it’s a small spot***

I went here today and I ordered chicken with rice. The food was horrible I almost throw up, when I had my first bite. I called the lady she said sorry bring the food back. I told her I don’t have time, she said drop it if you can or next when u come we will give you a free meal. So how I spoke to my boss and he said you can go but be back in 10 min. When I went there I give her the food and she said how what is wrong with the food. I told that chicken was smelling fishy smell and the rice was not when I had the first bite, and it was uncooked. This place the worst place to eat. Horrible, they don’t even deserve 0 star. Please check the picture. I told the lady that I want to talk to u r boss, she said he will be here in 20 min. I don’t have time to wait 20 min. I am a from Turkey and I know how the food is… Really this is how you respond to a customer by adding another review as a customer. First of all the food was not all the full. Second instead of apologizing to customer you say that you ate 75% of food. Excuse me I paid for the food, I have the rights to eat it or trash it. On the other hand now I am sick, I have thrown up twice. I am turkish… This not the way that we turkish eat food, this food might be fine for other people but for turkish and middle Eastern this is not a «food» and the picture you took, you put all the foods on the other side. Now I am sick because the dirty food that i ate here. the chicken is smelling«please check the picture that I took and I circled the area where you have to see before eating in this place. I would recommend the new customer to check the images and their reviews before taking risk of eating here. Restaurant is super dirty, check the corners, seriously the city needs to close this *** restaurant «Very bad customer service»

Tried for the first time today. Got the lamb skewers combination plate($ 15) only 2, barely any rice, horrible pickled cabbage. The hummus was average at best. Left a bad taste in my mouth, threw the plate away.

I got harassed by the Joseph account from the reviews on this place by message, whoever this joseph might be, that is not the way to follow up a bad review on Unilocal and it just support my previous comment that the service of this place was the worse. Now in twice as afraid to come back to this place.

This place was surprisingly good! We ordered the gyro plate, Greek salad and spanakopita. The gyro plate came with rice, salad and hummus. The hummus was amazing! I typically don’t like hummus so it meant a lot that I really enjoyed this one. I wished it came with some pita bread to dip the hummus in. I really liked their yogurt sauce too. The Greek salad was typical. I liked the little pickles that came with it. It was my first time having spanakopita and I thought it was yummy and is a good size for the price.
