Pad Thai for lunch $ 9.78 and it was one of the worst pad thais I have had.

Stopped by for a quick dinner on my way back from SF and glad I did. I had the grilled chicken, eggplant salad and a crispy pork dish. The eggplant was my favorite but they were all delicious. Can’t wait to come back

Recent reviews seem to be pretty positive, but I’ve been eating here for about 3 years and I think its only alright. Its the only Thai place within walking distance of my office. The food is alright. Service is fine. I usually get the BBQ pork. I just had the prawns and asparagus. I’ve also had the mango fried rice. It comes in a mango«shell», but its pretty small quantity since mangos are small… Price is alright. Parking is terrible.

This location has Lao Menu. The Lao sausages are absolutely fantastic and the heavenly beef. They also have 2 different sampler platter to try 3 different things in 1 sampler platter(Nam Kao/Sausage/Heavenly Beef or Papaya salad(Lao or Thai style)/Heavenly Beef/Sausage combo if one is unsure. There’s color photos posted at the window for those that need visual. Service at lunch is slow because of the lunch crowd. But dinner time is very great for those that have time to sit, chat & enjoy the food. There’s other item such as Lao stew, bamboo shoot soup, larb and different Lao sauces(jeol) for dipping as well. LAOFOODINSANTACLARA. I’M THERE!

Not happy at all. The food was very blend. Not what I was expecting. I had asked the lady at the front desk if they are associated with the MV location and she said not any more, however, the cooks were the same. It was not the same food as MV location. Try to avoid if possible!!!

This is a family run business and under new management. Keep in mind peak hours(during lunch) there will probably be a line. The restaurant is small and they will try to accommodate everyone in a timely manner. The best course of action is to call in your order and do take out. You will not be disappointed the food is phenomenal and reasonably priced.

My first visit to this restaurant. The restaurant is under new management, and is now serving amazingly delicious Laos cuisine in addition to the regular Thai dishes. I recommend the chicken larb, papaya salad, heavenly beef, and nam. I can’t wait to bring my friends and family to try this new restaurant!

So walk in, and cute little place. Find out it’s under new management, and think sweet! Decide to order the spring rolls, heavenly beef, and the crispy rice salad… Wow! I’ve been to a few Thai places that really overwhelm the food with spices, this place is great! The beef was beyond tender and seasoned perfectly. The Rice salad was great, I’ve never had this flavor before as a salad wrap, and the springs rolls I started with… Wow! Coming back here a lot!

The best chicken yellow curry around! The place is always quiet and clean. The servers are always nice.

In town for business and a bit disappointed with the food choices within walking distance of my hotel. I love Thai food, but I was hesitant to give this place a try, based on some of the other reviews. I’m so glad I decided to try it anyway! The hostess/waitress was pleasant and provided excellent service. The food came out very quickly, and I was pleased to see how fresh and tasty it was!(I had the pad see ew with tofu.) The restaurant is small and certainly not fancy, but don’t let that deter you if you’re in the area and looking for a decent bite to eat. I would definitely come back!

For the price of the food I expected it to be delicious and it was the absolute opposite. Save your money for a real restaurant

The only reason this place is in business is because of its proximity to large companies. Their food is as tasteless as skinny jeans on a fat guy! We had visited here during lunch time and it was packed. I ordered a pad Thai and my colleague ordered a panang chicken curry over rice. The pad Thai was ice cold like it had been sitting for a while and she brought us green curry chicken instead of panang chicken. When we bring this to her attention she had the audacity to ask us if we still wanted our food or not. At this point our stomachs gave up all reason and we were chowing down the«inedible tasteless garbage.» Well– whaddya know– This is the last time I come to this place! Crappy food, rude waitress and even crappier service! Three strikes and your out!

I swung by this place tonight for some quick take-out pad thai. I got there around 6:30 on a weeknight and only one table was populated. I quickly placed my order and it was out very quickly. It was a good-sized portion as well. That much was pleasing. The quality however was meh. The flavor was too weak for my liking and while I’ve had worse, I’ve definitely had better.

If you crave for authentic Thai food, do not go here! I was here because it I was craving for a green curry, it’s the very basis of Thai food. Oh boy, was I disappointed. It was so terrible that I think I can even make it better. Never again…

My wife is a vegetarian and she used to love this place. We picked up some vegetarian food today from here and came home hungry, just to find all kinds of meat in our fried rice. When I called the place and complained, they didn’t bother to do anything about it — in fact the person at the restaurant told me that she won’t be able to refund me for the wrong dish as the«money has gone to the bank already». Amarin — you just lost a couple of loyal customers forever!

It’s very close to my office so I go there when I need to go for my thai fix. I love red curry and tofu. The only thing you have to be careful about are timings, if you are there 12 – 1, finding parking can be a challenge. There can also be a small wait.

The only reason for the check-in was to assure that I left a trail of breadcrumbs back to the source, assuming I didn’t live to tell of my negative experience… Now…, I wouldn’t say that the food was entirely«BAD» per-se…, just that it was the absolute polar opposite of «GOOD». I was well aware of the negative reviews & as far as expectations, in that respect, they did not disappoint… I opted for the panang curry with chicken & outside of the skimpy portions(as well as poor quality chicken), this was the most watered down curry I have ever eaten in my entire life(the complimentary Tom Yum soup had more density). Additionally, those familiar with Thai spice are well aware that when you ask for«hot»(which I did), you better get your game face(& tongue) on… What I received however was more along the lines of a mild/medium spice. In order to get any kind of heat, I had to dump a mound of pickled jalapenos(damn near emptying the jar) as well as red chili sauce into the curry in order to secrete just a single bead of sweat… Now… this review should’ve ended right here… WRONG… On the way home, Amarin Thai Cuisine left me a nice little gift(a timed poison pill perhaps?) that had me reeling in pain during the drive home… Yes, I left a negative comment at check-in, but damned if they didn’t get the last laugh for what they did to my stomach… Be afraid… Be VERY afraid…

Food is okay. Since there is no other Thai places around that plaza, it is a good choice if I am craving for Thai at work. However, the price is a little more than what I am willing to pay. Especially when the dinner size and lunch size are the same, while dinner price is 30% more than lunch price. I have seen a lot better services in other restaurants.

If you want good Thai food, skip this place. Their other locations are much better. This place is close by my office so I decided to check it out meeting up with a friend for lunch. Place is small, very crowded and the service is VERY slow. I felt like I was waiting in line at an amusement park! We ordered the papaya salad(Too sour), the Pad See-Ewe, and the Beef Noodle soup. All fails. I’ve eaten at the Mountain View location and the food there tastes much better. Seriously, go somewhere else.
