came here this morning, the worst donut place i have ever had. Very dry, weird after taste as well. Plus its more ecpensive then any other place around. Save your money

I’ve been here several times at random moments when I was in a hurry in the morning and every single time I received quick service and delicious donuts. Honestly their donuts were better than dunkin donuts on harbor and first. I haven’t been let down yet :) I can confidently go in knowing I won’t be disappointed. The drinks are a little overpriced but they gotta make a profit too. Its all good. It saves me a trip anyway.

Excuse my French — but fuck this place and the Asian guy! Long story short we got kicked out for no fucken reason. Came in at 11:30 pm, me and 3 other friends bought ham and cheese croissants and we brought some food from taqueria triunfo over as we’ll, we literally chatted til 11:50 and Asian guy comes up «excuse me, you guys are taking up my customers’ space and you guys didn’t buy anything» — my friend shows him the ham and cheese croissant and he said«just one item! You guys been sitting here for forever.» So we didn’t want trouble because we had a great night, so we just left quietly and felt belittled by this rude ass bitch. Lemme say, while 5 of us were in the store, we were never loud, had a normal conversation, and we actually bought stuff. To be honest, this place has dried and shitty donuts anyways, don’t come here. Even though I live across the street from this place, don’t expect me to ever come back, you never treat a customer like shit after they’ve bought your stuff. Fuck you«friends» donuts.

I wish I could agree with the reviews about the owners. Then again I’m not sure if it was the owner or not whom I ran into at this place. I was curious so I stepped in. I was the only customer inside the store. Gentleman asks, «Can I help you?» I said, «No, just looking around.» Then I noticed the arcade machine tucked in the corner. Right before I was thinking of playing a round, the same guy comes out from the back and says, «If you’re not buying, then leave.» Maybe this might be because I was accidentally stepping in the spot where he was mopping, but if so, he could have not only phrased his statement better but also not be throwing pointing gestures towards the front door. I left obviously without picking a fight. So much for«friend’s» donuts.

This place has been here ever since I can remember, like any other donut shop, its ok. The coffee is less watered down than other shops I’ve been to. I like the owners very much and the ham and cheese croissants are great. Its also inexpensive.

I like a donut now and then. This place is open 24 hours and is accross the street from my house. I’m not sure if that is a good or bad thing. They’ve a minimal selection of donuts(compared to Winchell’s) with basics like the sugar, glazed, sprinkle, chocolate, and maple donut. There are a few filled donuts, but nothing too special. The subs are pretty bland. Go to Subway. It’s a small joint with a few tables and a modest Arcade tucked in the corner. The owners are nice though. However, try not to go around midnight. The donuts are usually stale at this time of the day… and makes for a bad tummy ache. Friend’s donut is so-so. It’s just convenient.
