Good fresh food. Clean restrooms. Great service. Some portions are small and most items you have to order separately. Pricey and small portion size but tasty. The nachos grande is huge but it’s over 9 dollars. It’s difficult to find vegetarian places nearby.

After being by a large Buddha when I entered the Café I did not see anything on the menu that is organic.

Much has been said of the vegetarian food and this is a great option for vegetarians. However omnivores will not starve here either. At our table, we had the salmon with pesto and the chicken enchiladas. Both were very good. Portion sizes are enough to make you full without being ridiculous. And I would also highly recommend the tahini salad dressing. It’s delicious! The desserts look tempting but after eating all the salad and all the salmon, I had no room for anything else. The atmosphere is very casual. You order at the register and take a number to your table, and the food is brought to you there. The service was friendly. It’s a great place for healthy and delicious food, especially if you have a variety of people in your party, both vegetarian and not.

In SLO for the night and was looking for a healthy option to fuel my ride tomorrow. I got a big pile of veggies and chicken over rice. To cap it off, I got a corn muffin. The chicken was amazing and cooked very well. The veggies were a bit oily for my taste. The place reminds me a lot of the veggie grill but with more of a café feel. The service was SUPER fast. The portion sizes were just right too, I just wish they could bring down the price some.

Very tasty salad, and I appreciated that they were not stingy with the avocado like some places are. Service was fast and friendly. Nice atmosphere for a quick lunch.

Quick, healthy, and satisfying! I typically order half soup half salad and I am never disappointed. Their soups are thick and almost always they offer a vegetarian or vegan soup. It is a little challange to find parking nearby since it is in the heart of downtown.

Seven of us came for dinner before a movie and we were all very happy with our meals. I had the Mount Fuji Stir Fry and it was loaded with very tender chicken and vegetables, stir fried very nicely. The sandwiches and soups around the table were well complimented as well. As this is a walk up and order, then we will take it to your table kind of place, there is really no table service. It you need something go up and ask for it. The food is very nice, the selection is wide, and the place is oh so clean! I will be returning. In San Luis Obispo downtown, there are so many choices! so many!

Ok so I’ve lived and worked in SLO for almost 16 years and have never had the desire to go here. But I didn’t have a choice today for my working lunch and I am very happy I finally ate here. I had the Greek salad with grilled chicken and it was one of the better salads I’ve had around town. The location is clean and there is plenty of seating. Prices were very reasonable for how much food you get. I will be back to try more menu items in the future.

Yes, I shave my armpits and leg hair. Yes, I eat meat. But I was craving something healthy after road-food and too rich dinners so popped in here for a salad and smoothie to cleanse the system before the next bout of shenanigans. The«Asian» salad was good — great proportions to everything, and the dressing was great! My detox smoothie was great — I normally dislike raw ginger but they got it just right — a little tang without overpowering the palate. JJ had the kava-kava cacao something smoothie with coconut ice-cream — he was skeptical about the coconut and we got a warning about the soothing properties of kava-kava, but he loved it and felt very relaxed afterwards. Nice ambience and great service.

So you place your order up at the front and get a number. Food is served at your table. I got the nachos grande and it was good but I thought that the proportions were a little off. Too many chips for the amount of toppings. Next time I would rather just get their chips with guacamole because the guacamole was fantastic. I ordered one of their chocolate chunk cookies and it wasn’t what I was expecting… it was Cake-y and cold, like it had just came out of the refrigerator and the walnuts in it were few and far. The one thing that did kind of annoy me about this place was that I had to ask for a key to use the bathroom. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and inviting.

I love their tamale plate. So delicious! The portions are just right but if I had another stomach is definitely want another tamale they are so amazing! So what you get is a delicious tamale, I can’t stress that enough, it’s accompanied by black beans and brown rice, a side salad which is mentioned as garnish is quite sized I ordered the lemon herb dressing which I thought I might just use lemon but this dressing’s herbs give this meal a balance I really enjoyed. Was sad once I visited and they were out I don’t only eat this when I come in I do like to try new things but this has to be by far my favorite on the menu! Both my self and my husband are not vegetarians and we both enjoyed this vegetarian delight! The staff is super helpful and very friendly they offered options for side replacements so I’m sure if you wanted to mix it up a bit you could without any issues. Another great treat are there smoothies and cakes! It goes without saying everything is made fresh! The prices are great! The location is great for a walk after lunch or dinner.

My favorite chain restaurant in California continues to endure, remaining only based on the Central Coast, and I always look forward to my annual re-visit, which tends to be at this location. It’s good to see that the restaurant has been able to stake out its turf in the local economy, with a range of similar or related vegetarian type fare available within walking distance. I was disappointed to learn that the management has recently discontinued my favorite item on the menu, the«Super Natural Platter» with cornbread, cheese drizzle, and a boatload of vegetables, but the manager on duty kindly said they could make it one more time for me. I’ll have to choose a new menu item on future visits but … I’m sure it will be good with a lasting taste.

So happy we came here for lunch. The portions are big. One thing I wish they did was reduce the amount of chips. There were chips in every one of our order. Great place, very friendly staff, good ambiance, lively and fun! Hope to be back soon.

Their grilled veggies sandwich is really good! Sub for vegan mayo and vegan cheese! This is a good pick in SLO if you are looking for the trendy healthy food.

I love the food here. I ordered Pasta Primavera, added grilled chicken. It comes with a small side salad, delicious. The garlic bread was yummy. Finished off the meal with Carrot Cake(heavy on the cream cheese icing)! The staff was very accommodating and helpful with our one and a half year old. Thanks.

Pretty solid good food– nothing extraordinarily special that I’ve seen so far here, but everything was definitely good and healthy. I like the ambiance and«dining hall» vibe of the place.

The natural café was a really great dining experience. The service was friendly and fast while the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing(love the Buddha statue!) My meal was also very good. I had a salad sandwich deal with the arugula salad and local favorite sandwich. One word: avocados!!! there is truly something for everyone here with an array ranging from bistro like goods to tacos. Can’t wait to go back!

I always feel good after eating here. It’s not cheap, but it is fast, friendly and both the food and the establishment is clean. Really clean– every time we come here, while we are enjoying our food, someone is deep-cleaning the lobby. Not just sweeping it up, but actually scrubbing away underneath tables. As clean as it is, the friendly staff has never batted an eye at my very messy toddler. Everything I have tried(Mt Fugi Stir-Fry, Tacos, Nachos, Sandos and Salads!) have all been tasty and full of flavor but definitely not over-seasoned. My picky-eating kids and I really enjoy coming here. Still scratching my head over some of the low ratings.

Every time we eat here we wish there was a Natural Café in the SF Bay Area, It is an affordable omnivore/herbivore restaurant that offers many menu items in a very pleasant ambiance. Great service too. The food is always fresh. This time around we ordered: Steam Vegetable Plate with tofu over brown rice. Soup of the Day – Mediterranean Veggie ½ turkey sandwich(lettuce tomato, onion, sprouts) on ww bread with salad (Salad – mixed greens, jicama, tomatoes, carrots, radishes, cucumber with tahini dressing that is super yummy) Blue Corn chips and salsa Chocolate Milk Shake –mmmm and only $ 3.95 I’ve forgotten the eact prices of our food. You can get a cup of soup, various sides, teas, juices, smoothies and shakes for under $ 5. Most«burgers», salads, entrees and sandwiches cost $ 7-$ 10. You order at the counter and your meal is served to you. The staff here is so friendly – we always feel so welcome here. They came back often to see how we liked our meal and replenished our water. The interior has wood paneling and wooden tables and booths. There are windows in the front and the lighting is very comfy.

Overpriced and pretty bland vegetarian food. The interior is cute and spacious but that’s not enough to bring me back. I understand that buying Organic ingredients does cost more. However, I don’t believe this Café holds itself out as an «organic only» restaurant. Further, there is absolutely no reason a teeny cup of soup should cost a shade under $ 4. The food is not bad, but I don’t believe the quality and quantity warrant the high prices. As someone who enjoys healthy food and cooks quite frequently, I expect a bit more flavor and larger servings for the prices they charge here.
