Something very nostalgic about this place… It’s been about 8 years since I’ve been back here. Stopped in the other night when I was passing through SLO. The place is filled with such a mix of people. College students, parents, families, bar guys. and yet everyone looks like they fit in. Place was just as packed as I remembered it being when I use to live here. I got a slice of shroom pizza. $ 2.85/slice. That first bite was just such an instant blast to the past taste. Recipe hasn’t changed one bit. It still has that middle thickness crust with soft pull edges. The sauce is still super distinct. Not super good or bad, but definitely its own. I little tangy and hint or oregano. The flavor always stays with me long after I eat the pizza … lol. Just fun to see that as much as slo has changed, this place remains a constant =)

Pizza was amazing. We had the kickin carnitas, which was extremely good. My kids had the cheese and it was solid too. Good beers on tap made this unexpected stop a really pleasant surprise.

The past two times I’ve been here it’s smelled really bad inside at the booths by the Windows, like a sewer. Pretty bad overpowering smell. The pizza is great so still 4 stars for that. Staff was friendly so 5 stars for that. Ambiance– due to the smell and the really loud obnoxious music(however I know it is bar like so I have to take that into account) I give 3 stars for that.

We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a chicken with white sauce pizza. They were okay. Nothing too outstanding. It was extremely crowded but the service was still good.

Woodstocks, is definitely the best pizza place in SLO, not only is the Pizza amazing, the service is great, it never fails. if the pizza isn’t made the way I have ordered it, which has been only a time or two,(& mind you I am picky and love my pizza cooked a certain way), they do not hesitate to fix my pizza! So whether you live in SLO, or visiting, this is a must stop for pizza lovers! Did I mention their salads are amazing as well!

My friend and I came here late around 10:30 and we ordered two personal pizzas. I got all meat with white sauce and she got all vegetables with tomato sauce. It was pretty pricey, over $ 20 for two people without drinks! The pizza really wasn’t worth it because there was literally no sauce and the cheese with all the toppings fell off as soon as we picked up a slice. We ate it in disdain because of how much it was, but needless to say we aren’t coming back…

Best pizza in SLO county. I can’t even begin to describe my pizza it was just perfect, I can’t remember the name of the pizza but it was delicious, next time I go I will be trying a different one. It’s your typical pizza parlor loud and a lot of people. Didn’t give it a 5 star even tho their pizza is amazing due to the lack of care of restrooms. I’ll make sure not to use them again :/other then that I would definitely recommend this place to any one, best pizza I have had in SLO county.

This is a really solid pizza place. An assembly line marches your pizza through and they took our order over the phone and got it exactly right. There were some challenges in getting the plates and forks but they were slammed. They were all very courteous and polite and got us everything they could. We had the veggie pizza and a meat pizza and a dessert pizza. I didn’t expect the dessert pizza. I think a huge part of me partaking of Woodstock was definitely the nostalgia factor that my friends from UC Davis had for the place.

Bad service. Terrible manager named kendel. We went for my birthday with 4 friends and a baby. It wasn’t busy as we got there on a Tuesday at 445. Ordered a large pizza and some friends ordered a medium gluten free about 10 minutes after us. They got there pizza 20 minutes before us. I told the cashier we where still waiting for ours and they said they always do gluten free pizzas first? What? So she said our was up soon. So finally ours comes to the table with the toppings messed up. I go to the manager this time and said I’m sorry to bother you but I wanted to inform you of some people’s we had with our visit. She said sorry and she would give us a free small dessert. I said ok since it was my birthday I was happy. 30 minutes go by and I see a table across the room get served my dessert! I go up to the manager again and she is mad obviously at the waiter who served it to the wrong people and d then to make another one but upgrade to a large. I said it’s late almost 8pm now and we need to go home and asked for boxes for our pizza. She did give us credit for a free desert next time but I’m not sure there will be are next time… This used to be my favorite place growing up for pizza. Bummer

We came in on a Sunday night at 6:30, we waited in line and ordered at 6:40, it was busier then usual. I got my chicken caesar salad in about 20 minutes, it was a large salad with almost no chicken, and they forgot my son’s salad. The pizza was better then expected other than the 70 minute wait. My son finally got his salad after the pizza came but they brought the wrong type salad. Since we complained about not receiving the salad, they double and triple checked to make sure we finally got the missing salad. Good customer service and good food quality, but loooooong wait time and missing food.

Woodstock’s is — and has been for many, many years — the best pizza in SLO. It’s consistently great. They’ve really stepped up their beer selection as well. I just stopped to think about how long I’ve been a regular and now I feel old. I used to go get a slice and play video games after school — 25 years ago or more. They still rock.

Woodstock’s is a must stop for me when I’m in SLO. Too bad both my brother & friends have all since graduated from Cal Poly so my opportunities have dropped dramatically. The pizzas here are always delicious. I’ve probably had a different one every time I’ve gone, and they’ve always been excellent. Same with the wait staff. The place can get crowded & loud so you might have to circle around a few times before you can find a place to eat, but the customers are always friendly and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been flagged down by a group who are just about to leave. And I’m always sure to pay that forward.

Meh. I was a total tourist, walking the streets of SLO… smelled this amazing pizza place from a block away, so in I went. It was seriously 95 degrees in there, and shoulder to shoulder people in line. Ordered a pizza, took my number, and sat down. And sat. And sat some more. Seriously waited 45 minutes before going up and asking if they had forgotten to put my order in. The guy walks back, produces my pizza, and says, «we couldn’t find your table.» No apology, no nothing. Just hands me a pizza and goes back to his task at hand. I think this customer service is unacceptable. Did they think I just ordered a pizza and left without it? Not that big of a building, and the number sas clearly displayed on the table like everyone else’s. No reason to not find my table. Period. Bathrooms have an industrial feel and are disgusting. Everything was hot, dirty and wobbly. I would have rather not used it. They did have ranch dressing in ready made up portion cups, so that was nice… but the pizza was mediocre at best and not worth an hour wait.

The pizza is pretty decent, but nothing out of this world. Woodstock is a great place to try and run to before they close at 2am after the bars kick everyone out at 1:40.

Look no further for pizza in SLO. Ingredients are amazing! Quality food for a great value. Usually crowded around dinner time. I recommend this place a lot. Don’t go to anywhere else for pizza. Special of the day is dank. High value, high satisfaction. Incredible tasting tomatoes. Tomatoes are amazing.

The pizza is really good. But it’s way too expensive for what you get. The prices are totally misleading. We thought we were ordering a medium pizza for«$ 12.95» and somehow it ended up being $ 20. The waitress was so rude and practically threw out pizza on the table and didn’t even ask if we needed anything else or if the order was correct. The other staff members were nice. The personal pizza was $ 10 but it’s not big at all. Smaller then a store bought personal. Oh and there are flies everywhere. It was growling on our pizza so we couldn’t finish it. It was so gross we left.

Starving late night and need pizza? Come here! Thursday night cheap pint night? Come here ! Awesome gluten free crust(I believe I had the garlic chicken pizza on a gf crust) to go the other night and even my non glutarded friends thought it was delish! Popular spot to get a pre-made slice or a pitcher of beer. The wines offered aren’t the best I’ve ever had in my life, but was stoked they had wine at all. Plus, 2GF beer options(1 beer-redbridge, 1 cider– something aged in a bourbon barrel, not sweet, pretty tasty!) Yes, the bathrooms are yucky and I am sometimes sketched out to even go back there alone, just a creepy/dirty area that makes me wish I could wash my hands again somewhere else before returning to my meal. But, I saw responses from a manager to other reviews saying they’re working on it for the future, so hey– at least there’s a bathroom here and you don’t have to go pretend to buy a book at Barnes & Noble just to use the bathroom!

If you would like to experience San Luis Obispo’s college scene then here it is. Lower cost than most food sources in the town’s core. Good local and micro beer selection as well as local vino. The pizza is straight forward with your usual options. The food is ordered and paid for in different areas. Food just inside the front door and the alcohol is ordered and paid for in the rear. The event I attended as well as one other(judkins middle school’s, which is located in Pismo, basketball awards event) used a space in the rear. It works well for larger groups. The restrooms are lacking as there is only one toilet for the men as well as the women. One star down grade. The location, there is none better. There is street parking with meters as well as public lots.

It’s been years and years I’ve been coming here. Serious. Since about 2000, so… I’m no good at math but…15 years?! Dang. The last time I was here the music was spot on, the staff friendly, welcoming and happy. The beer selection is easily on par with some of the better pubs around. I last had a pizza called SRIRACHA-CHA and not only is it fun to say(and write, as it turns out) but it’s super tasty. Just the right amount of spice but the salt from the bacon and the«healthy» crunch from the green onions makes it an instant favorite. I love Woodstock’s pizza. I mean… the actual pizza. The crust is folded over with just the right amount of sauce tucked up inside to make a nice little treat perfect for dipping into some tasty dressing. The toppings are always plentiful and I can, and have, finished a small on my own, though… I could have shared it. But why let a good thing go if you don’t have to. When people ask about where there should go for pizza, this is always my easy first choice.

Downtown SLO is quite adorable, and Woodstock’s Pizza is a staple in the scene. I wonder how many pizzas they pump out every day for college kids, visiting families and working professionals? That should be a contest at the counter! What we tried: Woody Waui, with pineapple on top. Should have probably ordered a small instead of a medium. Two people could split and still be satisfied. Same goes for the salads, get a small unless you are splitting between 3 – 5 people. Portions are generous. Great beers on tap, even a gluten-free option. It was before noon on a weekday, though, so I just had a soda. The ladies working behind the counter were super cool, am guessing they’re the biggest reason why Woodstock’s is a downtown institution.
