The rice ball is delicious but I only do take out. Dining experience is apparently now satisfying.

Only come here is you want to wait 30+ min for a simple order and have the forget items of the order once done. This place is the epitome of terrible service and lack of efficiency.

I received an email this morning stating my visa was charged for X amount this morning. 1.I’ve never been to the establishment 2. I tried calling to inquire about the situation and the lady answered in a language other than English. I politely said«hello, I am calling because.» Lady who answers the phone cuts me off and says in English: «I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you are saying.» I thought maybe she didn’t hear me so I repeated my sentence only to be cut off again. Worker: «I don’t understand or speak English.» Me: «ok, I understand may I speak to someone who does?» Worker: «so sorry» and hangs up on me! Wow. Did that really just happen here? Terrible! She clearly responded in good enough English to tell me she didn’t understand but why not try to get someone who does speak English. Disappointed.

Slow slow slow services. within 10 mins after we sat down, the tables on the both sides of ours cancelled one of their orders after apparent long waits of one dish. A to-go order customer also cancelled whatever item she had been waiting for… It’s a mess… Our food came out lukewarm… Won’t recommend

TIP: order on the phone to save time waiting in line. This is a typical Asian restaurant with not so great manners or service, but I keep coming back because the cravings for Taiwanese breakfast are real. There’s absolutely no Taiwanese breakfast place in Berkeley so every time I come home from school, I beg my mom to take me. This place definitely satisfies all the cravings. My usual is mi jiang(peanut drink) and dan bing(egg crêpe). Dan bing is good, but I absolutely must get the mi jiang. Fan tuan(rice roll with pork sung) is also decent. I usually come here with my mom on weekdays to grab breakfast to-go on the way to work. There’s usually a pretty long line(and some rude customers like to cut) so I suggest calling ahead in the car to save time.

Chinese breakfast what more can I say. Pastries are flaky. Quite enjoyed what I would call an Asian breakfast burrito — sticky rice with pork floss and pickled vegetables.

One a favorite weekly spot… horrible place to be at now. On a not busy weekday morning, they forgot parts of our order… coffee was not served until after we are done eating. Portions shrunk, flavors lacking or changed. NOT a good place to go to… also, look up the definition of LATTE… this is the first and only place I’ve ever had a sugared latte. Disgusting. Tasted like sugar and cream. Where was the espresso? Even a light coffee would be fine, just some type of coffee… and not sugared like someone spilled syrup bottle into the cup!

Don’t go this place if you don’t want to wait hungrily for like 40 minutes and then being told the food you have ordered is not available…

The food was not good. The salty rice roll’s Middle Chinese donut was soft and cold. The radish cake with egg 2 was not crispy. The Chinese donut had a weird smell and taste(like lye? Or chlorine?) we ordered it and took a whiff and set it down. It was also cold and not crispy. And lastly the marinated beef with pickled veggies sandwich didn’t have enough pickles or beef in it. I wouldn’t waste your money here. It was gross and not satisfying. I was very disappointed.

Great Taiwanese breakfast. Wish there was somewhere like this in the South Bay. Had the Chinese donuts and soy bean milk. Everything was fresh and very good. The xiao long bao was also good but took a little longer to come out. They had a lot of pastries in their cases as well as cold noodles and other tasty dishes.
