Just a very bad, dangerous location. Products to choose from, OK service. Good place to go to pick up accessories. But VERYDARK store/mall. This store and all the stores around this strip mall needs to have more LIGHTING! Clean up the parking lot and sidewalks! So many homeless and others selling drugs and other things RIGHT next to store, other Businesses.

This place offers some good products — my personal favorite being a $ 30/month unlimited call/text plan — a great solution for visitors who will stay in SF for weeks only. Also they offer good rates for calling cards, peripherals etc. However, I greatly value service experience, more than the products itself. I tried very hard to support this neighborhood small business but I just can’t justify it anymore. I sincerely feel that the people working there, subconsciously want the business to fail so they can do something else with their lives. Every time I walk in, I get the feeling that I am not wanted and I am bothering them. Today, I brought in my mom’s cell phone she purchased oversea and want to see whether I can purchase an one month plan for her during her short stay in San Francisco. I was hoping maybe after I visited the store three times within the last six months, I will get a smile and a «hi» when I walked in. Nope(of course, what was i thinking? I was bothering him by being a customer) He played with the phone for a while then asked me «is this unlock?» I wonder why he asked such an obvious question since if he was browsing the phone at the moment, why wouldn’t he know it was unlocked? So I said«yes it is unlocked». Then he asked me again«is this unlocked?», I was totally confused thus I asked«are you asking me a question?» He suddenly looked up, stared at me, raised his voice«YES I AMASKINGYOU A QUESTION, I AMTALKINGTOYOURIGHTNOW!», unprepared for such degree of hostility, I told him«I don’t know what you mean». He probably at this moment realized he was being a jerk(or not, don’t know), went back to play w the phone for a few more seconds then said«you need a programmer to unlock this phone, then we can put in a SIM card». Well expert, thank you for educating me about program-unlocking(or whatever that is) if I were a mobile expert I probably wouldn’t walked into your store in the first place. I took my phone back, and never look back. I also decided that I will help out this unhappy person by not giving him any more my business, and letting everyone out there know that he doesn’t seem to want any business, and rather doing something more important than interacting with customers or providing good services/solutions.

Customer service sucks. Didn’t seem to care for my business, I had to basically sell myself their services. I called to activate Page Plus Cellular and the person who answered the phone, after I told him I had an iPhone, said there was no other option. I asked if I could by a new phone and he said I could if I wanted. I then asked if I could come in to set up a plan and phone and again, lazily said I could if I wanted. Not a great way to gain a customer or upsell. Didn’t seem like he cared at all. I won’t be coming in

This place is great! I wandered in here because I wanted to dump T-Mobile after years of craptacular service and the only cellular carrier who has the kind of phone I want is Metro aka«Ghettro» PCS. I only lucked into this place because I had time to kill before I needed to be at Kaiser, and boy am I glad I did. I’m not a huge fan of having to switch phones, but the guy was really friendly helpful and patient, he answered all my questions and did not try to up-sell me at all. The place throws in a case and a headset with every phone, which is a huge plus. I thought about buying a phone on line, but I’m glad I went here and got the personal service and extras instead. I’m surprised no one has reviewed it yet! BTW, my new Metro phone gets FANTASTIC reception in my Sunset apartment, which was a T Mobile dead zone.
