Lower Polk Art Walk

Good people out there with their fantastic & varied art. Duck into the little alley just across the street from McTeague’s and you’ll be greeted with table after table of unique and well made art. Some art walks can turn into church craft sales (not to knock it, but you know what l mean.) This art was heavy on prints, paintings, photos and drawings.
Knocking it a star for all the naked ladies — you guys, this is SF — let’s see a bit more creativity… It seems to be the only fucking way women are represented by men in modern art. So when I see a naked woman, I don’t see a naked woman, I pretty much just see a dude’s boner. Except for the one artist who drew nude women DOING THINGS, not just being decorative.
Everything was moderately priced, and well worth adding to your collection.
