Cash Only! Good thing there’s a Wells Fargo atm right in front. Fast lines(they attend multiple people at a time) and friendly staff. Prices are decent.

Been going here for at least several years. This place is a lot cleaner than other taqueria’s I’ve been to. The ingredients are fresh and quite filling. I usually order a the carne asada or regular chicken burrito w/salsa. The chips are also nicely warm and crispy when you bite into them. The place gets crowded during peak hours so be prepared to wait or go during a off time. The parking could be a bit sketchy as it’s mostly parking meters or that horrible rocky community parking lot. If you’re in a lowered or sporty car best to park in the first tier closest to the street because the 2nd tier has big hidden potholes that can scratch up the bottom of your car especially exiting that huge drop off from the curb.

A bit disappointed after seeing the reviews here and visiting. On the entrance you’ll notice the Trip Advisor, Michelin, Unilocal window stickers. I opted for my staple… the chicken burrito. How would my life be without this amazing invention wrapped in a convenient edible wrap? Too bad my experience wasn’t the best. The taste wasn’t anything special, but what really irked me was how soggy the burrito was and the amount of rice. I love rice, I’m Asian! But it’s all about a good balance. And how about draining some of that juice so I don’t have to worry about trying to eat a soggy-ritto? I’ll have to give it another try. I always give places a second chance if they’ve had a history of quality service and food.

Fresh ingredients and always a good burrito. Just kind of on the pricey side for a Taqueria.

Best chicken burrito I’ve had in a long time! I ordered the regular burrito and it seemed plenty large enough. Also came with free chips and was fairly cheap compared to other Americanized taquerias with less flavorful ingredients. Will definitely be back to try other options on the menu.

Really solid. Like lots of taquerias, they have a big menu and everything is pretty good. But the special item here is the shrimp! Get a shrimp super burrito spicy(it’s not crazy hot) with everything(including the sour cream — it’s a winning combo. Oh, and sugary drinks from Mexico.

Line moves quickly and we were able to snag a table for 5 during lunch hour on a Wednesday, but I imagine it’s much busier on weekends. Tacos are huge and toppings are piled high, so you really get your money’s worth. We all ended up getting seafood items and the portions are generous and the fish/shrimp very well cooked. I got the prawn quesadilla(regular) and it was just the perfect ratio of cheese and prawns(big and juicy ones, too!). It was so simple, but so good and really hit the spot. My table also ordered tacos and burritos, and everything looked amazing and we all polished off our plates. Complimentary chips with each order, too. Great place for a quick bite, either dining in or taking it to go.

Absolutely wonderful food and service. Love the prawn dishes and burritos the most. Generous helpings of everything so try the baby burrito or ask for smaller portions if you’re not a big eater. Friendly ladies. It can be busy at times, but I don’t mind the wait at all. It can be hectic at times, but you’re in for a treat. Oh, cash only. No cards accepted. Buen provecho.

The 1-star rating is for the service. Food is a 3-star. Beware. Saturdays can be extremely busy. If you’re taking food to go, I recommend calling in your order. I walked into the restaurant and the line to order snaked around inside, thru the dining area. There was one cashier and three order takers. Clearly seeing the long line, the order takers continued to move at a normal, slow pace – without any hint of urgency. After 10 minutes, the line began moving a little faster. I noticed the manager(I presume the owner; who returned from somewhere) had stepped-in, began taking orders, and really taking charge. Suddenly, the order takers started working more quickly. My point in this post, the workers began working faster ONLY when the manager appeared. None of them demonstrated initiative to speed-up the pace, even after seeing the long line grow. If the manager hadn’t showed-up, I probably would have waited 20 – 25 minutes for two burritos. Ridiculous.

My absolute favorite taqueria period. My personal favorite is the spicy prawn burrito. The baby size is big enough for nearly anyone.

Been coming here for years and there’s always a line, most take it to go so there’ are still plenty of seats. Large portion, great deal and lots of options. Great burritos and tacos, my favorite is their ceviche for $ 3. Not much service, but get your food, in and out, just the way affordable restaurants are supposed to be. The fast food chain burrito«Chipxxxx» should learn how to work as fast as they do.

Home of the super rice burrito. Al pastor is chewy and tough, and not flavorful as it is supposed to be. The super burrito, according to the menu, doesn’t have rice. Had I known that it would in fact be 75% rice, I’d have asked for no rice. What should I expect from Dear Leader Ed Lee’s favorite taqueria, after all. Dude is bland as heck. Should have gone to the Excelsior.

Best Taqueria in the City.(A family favorite as well) There is always a line when I go, so I’d assume that there are many individuals in the area that feel the same way. There are a lot of meat options, and even the vegetarian burrito sounds good. My go to is the Super Baby Burrito w/everything as I get full from just a few bits. The portion sizes are huge here and you won’t be disappointed. Even with the long lines, the service is always prompt and cordial. La Corneta Tacaueria comes highly recommended! Side note: $ cash only

Like a bad relationship, I continue to come back each time. This taqueria is conveniently located and not as healthy. Time and time again, even with the long lines, not so friendly service, and cash only option, my palate and stomach are lured in by their burritos. I have to admit, this is so far one of the best places for a burrito since I moved to SF over a year ago. And in my past year of trying various burritos throughout the city, none get to me as La Corneta Taqueria. I usually get the carne asada regular burrito with refried beans and rice on a spinach tortilla. The rice is consistently moist, and I love the beans. The meat is tender and has great flavor. I can’t speak for their other items on their menu, but it’s definitely worth the wait.

I was too lazy tonight to make enchiladas so went looking for red one specifically and with traditional red mole. When I arrived they only had the green spicy sauce. I said yes to those and ordered one with grilled chicken and the other with chicken in sauce(same that would go on top of them); It came with beans and rice. Wow, i’m impressed they are super good. I got chips and salsa too but I didn’t really want them. Portions are big. I would definitely ask them to put less chicken in them next time … LOL I know funny right? But I like my enchiladas thinner ;) I also saw that they had a Flan /this was Chocho flan… so I order that too! piggy… But I swear I’m going to eat it in three days lapse!

I’m sure this place is actually good but last night I ordered their prawn tacos and literally they give sooo little prawns… I ordered prawn tacos and they made super prawn tacos so charged me $ 5.50 for each tacos and I can barely eat it cuz they put sooo much stuff on top. All I remember was eatin soggy tacos with mostly veggies and beans and once in awhile theres tiny prawns in there. Not sooo happy with my order, my bf said to order their meats cuz they give you alot for that.

Decent flavors and very convenient to Glen Park BART. However my burrito was a huge drippy mess! When I first peeled back the foil there was a lot of juice that accumulated at the top so I thought perhaps the burrito wasn’t properly wrapped up and was leaking. Fine, I can deal with that. However, as I ate and took additional bites I started to realize the entire length of the tortilla was drenched and each time I peeled back the foil, I had juice dripping down my arm. Just by looking at it, you would have thought the surface they’d use to roll up the burrito was sopping wet. At the very bottom, it was disgustingly soggy and you could have wrung it out like you would a wet towel. I chucked the rest. Why serve customers a soggy burrito? A complete and utter FAIL.

This is one of my close friend’s go to spot in Glen Park for burritos. I finally had an opportunity to check it out and it was a pleasant delight. It’s a quaint establishment with some tables for dining. The line fluctuates as I’m pretty sure the locals frequent often. It looks long, but goes in waves. Thank goodness we came in around 8:30pm ish and it wasn’t bad, but a little after another line started to form. Nonetheless, they have a solid rhythm to get the line moving. I got the Carne Asada Baby Super Burrito. Even though it’s called«baby,» it’s still a good hearty portion if you’re not hoping to overstuff yourself. What I liked about the burrito is that it had lettuce(get them veggies in!), as well as the typical rice, beans, meat, salsa, guac, and cheese. Overall, it tasted very balanced and not too heavy. Thumbs up for complimentary chips with the order!

We picked up dinner on a Friday evening. I had the chile relleno plate with came with rice and beans and a small salad. It was pretty good although my relleno was soggy by the time we got home. My partner again got the shrimp tosada which he loves and he ate everything. Our friend got the beef tacos with rice and beans but ate only the tacos. So I had enough for a light lunch. I continue to be surprised at this wonderful Mexican restaurant.
