From what I recall their food was ok when I was actually willing to wait for it. I went here today and stood in line for what felt like 10 min in the roasting sun and the line didn’t move at all. Same 3 customers at the window. You need a dedicated person to take orders for the amount of business you’re getting. I waited another 5 while they took orders from 3 more people and left, since I had few more in front of me. The best part is I walked 5 min to the commissary and made a salad, sat down spent about 15 – 20 min eating and left and on my way out of the universal lot, the guy behind me in line was just coming back to work with his food. Which mean he spent about 30 – 35 min at the truck. Never again.

Okay so I had this one day when I went to a food festival in Downey and I had the pleasure of running into this food truck. We were all in the mood for some Thai food and once we saw the truck, we decided to get in line despite the very very very long line. We honestly waited about a half hour in line waiting for everyone to order and to take their food as well. It was a very long process but it was worth it I think. We ordered the pad Thai, fried rice and basil beef. we asked for a spicy or really spicy and don’t really remember the variations of the spiciness, but we knew we could handle spicy so we figured we get some Sirracha on the side to complement our food. Once we got the food and I couldn’t believe our mouths were on fire but I could not stop eating the pad Thai! it was so good the greatest Pad Thai that I’ve ever had! I’m absolutely in love with pad Thai and I just can’t believe how flavorful and how delicious it was despite it being so so so so spicy. I look forward to having this gem again in the future.

The food is solid when they have what you want and you can patiently wait for them to prepare it. But when was the last time you went to a thai restaurant and they ran out of white rice??? Well, this truck seems to run out of jasmine rice almost regularly by the time I get to it(1:30+) so then if I want to get the dish I want, I’m forced to pay $ 2 extra for fried rice or noodles? not this time, or ever again. I won’t fall for the bait-and-switch tactic of making customers pay extra when the rice conveniently runs out. Jasmine rice is dirt cheap, easy to make, and shouldn’t run out.

The good looks good but the wait is way too long! 30+ mins wait. The price is good, but it’s still a food truck and people leave lines cause it takes way too long.

I ordered the Spicy Basil Beef with Jasmine rice. I had ordered the salad the last time, and it was amazing. Looking forward to tasting the dish with rice. It smells fabulous, but I know it’s going to be great. I got it hot, too! The person taking the order is friendly, and greets with a smile! Couldn’t ask for anything else. Great customer service!

Spice level is on point! «no mercy» is no joke and my spice tolerance level is crazy high! Only those who can take spice should get this, otherwise don’t even bother because it’s beyond that«thai hot spicy» level! So 2 stars for this! 1 extra star for the price, not too shabby! Minus 2 stars because my food was burnt! Spicy basil beef, and it was ground beef so can you imagine how dry it was from being burnt?! They need just a little bit more oil! Hello!!! It is Asian food after all! Can’t be having dry Asian food served! Lol. Sucks because it had potential to be good. Boo! They need a second cook, that’s for sure. Thai iced tea with boba was good though! Overall… Meh… I’ve had way better… Even Natalee Thai is better than this«authentic» truck… Shocking!

You really need to find this truck and eat their food. These folks are kind, hardworking and really know how to make something delicious. Shrimp, tofu, chicken pad thai are my go-tos(like the rest of the world) because a mung bean salad is tucked in alongside some peanuts and it’s just such a satisfying plate — savory, crunchy, slippery noodles, good acid balance. I can usually make a second meal out of the chicken portions. The thai tea is strong and a tad on the sweet side but that’s also why you indulge. I miss going every Tuesday at WB.

Best Thai food I’ve had since moving to LA. Found them at Thursdays in Newhall tonight and smelled the garlic wafting from down the block. Has the garlic pork with pad Thai and the basil beef with jasmine rice. Both excellent. Both recommended. Even my that skeptic hubby loved it.

I ordered the basil beef with rice. I think this dish is so misleading because I thought it would be slices of meat. Imagine my disappointment when it was instead ground beef… the cheapest meat. Thankfully, I got to try the garlic pepper shrimp with rice, and that was a lot better. Flavorful and mildly spicy. The portions are not that big though but you will be left satisfied.

Spicy basil with fried rice! I’m so glad I decided to order lunch the day they were at my work b/c I almost wasn’t due to the fact that pad see ewe was not on their menu and I was a little iffy about ground beef at the moment… but I would order from Streets of Thailand food truck again. The girl at the window was so cheerful and helped me decide between the garlic pepper and the spicy basil. While you’re waiting for your food, you can begin to smell the wonderful aroma of Thai food! I did not order any beverages, but noticed they offered boba and Thai iced tea.

So we get food trucks here at work in Culver City. This was one yesterday on 6÷1÷15. I got the Garlic Pork on Fried Rice. It was pretty damn good. I got it hot which there are three heat levels. Hot being under FIERY or something. It was pretty damn hot. And a good amount too. Oh and I had a large thai tea. That was good too. So Large Thai Tea and Pork Fried Rice for about $ 12. It was a good decision and I will definitely be back.

I get this whenever I’m working at Universal City NBC. Their garlic pepper pork is my favorite but everything else is a close second. It does take a little while for them to make it but they make it fresh and you can taste the love Jimmy has for his work. Can’t wait to eat off this truck again.

I love this food truck. My co-workers and I are always on the look out for this truck and we love it when they come to the Pointe in Burbank because it’s close to the Walt Disney Studios. My favorite dish is their Chicken Fried Rice. It’s the BEST fried rice that I’ve ever had and super addicting. I always try to eat half to save the other half for dinner but you can’t stop. It’s just so good! I even brought it home for my husband and he ate the leftovers and loved it. It’s just delicious and really flavorful! Plus, if you order a drink you get a free veggie roll. Love this truck!

Happy Happy Happy Happy Happy Happy. That is the tune my stomach was singing after getting way too much food at the Streets of Thailand truck. I’m not sure where this truck normally resides, but I went during a Saturday outside of LACMA on Wilshire. Food trucks were lined up all up and down the street and it was honestly pretty hard to pick one. I’d gotten some lobster tacos at a different truck but was still kind of hungry. So I decided to pop on over to the Thai truck while my boyfriend got Mexican. I got chicken pad Thai and Thai iced coffee with boba. Everything was beyond flavorful and delicious. I really liked that the iced coffee was sweet but not too sweet. The fact that there were so many places that sold iced coffee and Thai iced tea with boba was one of my favorite things about traveling through Thailand so it was nice to get a taste of that again. The pad thai was delicious too — I haven’t had above average Thai food in a while so my Thai palette isn’t super refined, but it was definitely delicious. They had a nice menu and a lot of good options for a food truck. It’s also just a beautiful truck with a really cool mural on the back. The lady working there is super friendly too. Overall, if you can catch this food truck it’s definitely worth a stop!

Really yummy! I ordered the garlic pepper pork which comes with white rice. I ordered a Thai iced tea with boba, which made my entire order a combo so I got a free egg roll. All was really good! Pork was extremely flavorful and went perfectly with the white rice. The eggroll was really good, especially with the sweet sauce they gave me. The Thai iced tea was good, and the boba was indeed chewy. And all for about $ 11. Not bad!

The usual Monday lunch spot next to WB Studio Plaza. Without having to get myself to Boba Loca in downtown Burbank, you can grab some thai iced tea with boba, which is a nice convenience and actually pretty good. I would recommend getting almost anything from this truck like the Garlic Pepper Pork, Basil Beef, or even both of these in salad form. Basically when you’re in the mood for savory sweet get the Garlic Pepper Pork and when you want some spiciness grab the Basil Beef. The basil beef is the solid standby at a spicy level and add sriracha and the chili to the white jasmin rice that goes with it. I would say one negative is the red curry with tofu. If I remember correctly, they fry the tofu and add that to the curry. This just didn’t make sense to me. In general, the curry is just not as tasty as it could be. But that’s just one negative among the great things these guys do. Overall this is a great spot with long lines during the lunch time hours over at Studio Plaza. If you can bear with the line and a little more wait, then you’ll get some good grub.

This review is for the Pad Thai: Pad Thai– it looked awesome but the overall flavor was just ok. The flavor was more on the savory side. I usually like it a little bit sweet. I would definitely try some other dishes from them but it’s extremely disappointing that they don’t have peanut sauce. Streets of Thailand: PLEASE get some peanut sauce goin! :) Seriously, if I had just some slightly sweet peanut sauce to spread over that Pad Thai, it would be a winning combo!

Streets of Thailand hit the spot. After hitting up 4 – 5 other trucks in Granada Hills last night we ended the night with Streets. First off, Streets has a ton of traditional Thai dishes! Being Thai, I know that most Thai food would be hard to make it a truck! Not so, Streets had a ton of entrees to choose from. Jim(the truck’s owner) suggested a few items as I wasn’t sure what else I wanted to eat. We had the Pad Thai, Crab Rangoon and a large Thai tea. Good stuff! Everything tasted like a sit down restaurant in Hollywood’s Thai Town. The Pad Thai was good, the Crab Rangoon was a bit burnt but was tasty and the Thai Tea hit the spot! I’m make sure to hit up Streets of Thailand again when I catch them again! Keep up the good work!
