Wafl was good and everything was fine. until i checked my bank statement. I visited their truck over a week ago and to my surprise i was double charged. I remember their electronic register malfunctioning and restarting. The cashier had asked if i could swipe card my card again. I gladly slid again thinking the cashier would fix the issue. I could have simply fixed this problem over the phone but their number goes straight to voicemail. Id appreciate if you guys could contact me regarding this issue. 4*-2*=2 Next time I come i will give the 4 star it deserves if this problem is resolved, if not i will be giving my business elsewhere.

The best waffles ever! The pesto sauce was amazing on the chicken waffle and the Reese’s waffle is to die for. Very pleased :)…

The guys who work on the Wafl truck are so nice! I asked for a simple waffle with strawberries and caramel because I don’t like sweets that much, and they were so nice about it! It was soooo good. Also, my friend had the tasty burger and she said it was one of the best burgers she’s ever had!

This truck needs to pick up their slack. I don’t doubt other reviewer’s good prior experience but my experience was poor enough to write about. I tried this truck at a live taping event in Universal City and they were the only food source at the venue so I thought I’d give them a try. I had The Chicken & my girlfriend had The Baconlicious. The Baconlicious had the bacon burned to a crisp and my girlfriend decided to eat the rest. The Chicken had the Waffle burned so dark and hard that it was difficult to even bite down on it. This was not enjoyable at all and hardly edible. You shouldn’t lower the quality of your food just because you’re busy. For other future customers… Pick up the slack please.

The wait was a bit long. The food combo’s were creative. I had The chicken– not sure if I liked it on the sweet waffle. If I see the truck again, I may ask for it on the savory waffle. Everyone in my party was happy with their meal.

I was so excited to finally try this truck and it was mediocre at best. My burger was over cooked and bland. The waffle didn’t even taste like a waffle. The guys working were really nice and tried to find alternative options when I had a special request which I did appreciate. The service however was pretty slow, but that is the price you pay for made to order food.

Amazing food. Delicious and fast service. I highly recommend this food truck. They often times are posted in front of Brickyard down in North Hollywood not too far from the metro redline.

The first thing that crossed my mind when I bit into a waffle enriched with pesto, sun dried tomatoes and what can only be described as the purest essence of total bliss was«What is this savory orgasmic creation sent from the heavens?». This is more then a food truck this is the meaning of taste. Its almost as if these guys fell from Mt Olympus sent by Zeus himself to tantalize us… nay to punish us with a minuscule sapid of the foods served in heaven. It wasn’t until the Nutella strawberry waffle that i began to question all humanity… Why was I here. what is my purpose and How have I never experiences such flavor?. I lost myself in the divine goodness and when it was all done it was as if I came back from a psychedelic adventure Until we meet again Wafl truck. Until we meet again indeed

So so so good. I am a true Nutella fan and I have fallen in love with Wafl Truck. The portions are so big that I for once was having a hard time finishing waffles with Nutella. You definitely get what you pay for. The banana and vanilla ice cream waffle was my favorite. The amount of Nutella they put is ridiculous. I can not wait to go back.

Drove to Granada Hills just for their friday food truck nights to try the Wafl Truck. I’ve looked at the menu many times so I didn’t bother to look when I was there and ended up ordering the wrong thing. I ordered the«classic» thinking it was actually the simple one. I’m not a fan of nutella, and the classic has nutella and way too many toppings, plus it’s a dollar more than the one without toppings. It got too messy and kinda gross to eat. The waffle itself was good but nothing amazing. I would try it again just for the simple waffle. Next time. Otherwise the guy inside the truck was really friendly, and there wasn’t a wait in line but waited about 10 minutes for the waffle which still isn’t too bad.

The Wafl truck was on my school campus(CSULA) so I had to give it a try. I couldn’t choose from the menu easily because of all the amazing choices available. Since I’m obsessed with peanut butter & nutella, I ordered the Step it Up. First of all, it was beautifully made. When I ate it, I was in heaven :) Oh, and also, the people who worked in the truck were also very friendly. I love awesome customer service & that’s what they had. Will definitely get some waffles from there again.

Yes, it’s been done. And yes, the others are amazing. But let me tell you, these guys know what they’re doing. And if you’re thinking that they’re all about the sweet stuff, you’ve got another thing coming. The savory side of their menu competes beautifully with the other. Or, shall I say, it complements it, because you cannot walk away without trying at least one of each. The savory Chicken Waffle with Swiss cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, pesto, all sandwiched beautifully in between a perfectly cooked waffle– not too soft, but fluffy enough that your teeth can cut through it with ease. This was honestly the best waffle sandwich I’ve tried yet. Even better than Bruxie’s, Lord help me. It just had an enormous amount of flavor and depth, whereas other waffle places just have intense flavor, and overdone sweetness. This waffle will keep you full for hours. Word to the wise, though: Have a drink on hand. The density of this waffle will have you reaching for one after 2 – 3 bites. I, myself, almost choked because my cheap sensibilities wouldn’t allow me to buy a bottle of water. Of course, they also carry some delicious desserts with all the fixin’s, including the ever-present Nutella waffle with bananas & strawberries. The ones that are really worth trying are the Strawberry Cluster, which is a delicious mix of strawberries, caramel, cookie butter, & an unhealthy dollop of whipped cream arranged beautifully on top of a fresh, toasty waffle. They even have a sweet bacon waffle. Don’t ask me how they pull that off. Another one that has«American Favorite» written all over it is the PB& J waffle, which comes with a rich & decadent peanut butter, jelly slathered on top of a waffle, & topped nicely with a healthy dose of crushed peanuts. Most everything they serve is organic & locally-sourced, so that somewhat makes up for the somewhat steep prices of $ 7& above. Believe you me, though, it is a meal fit for a foodie king, and well worth shelling out a few extra dollars for that level of deliciousness. So, forget the burger & taco trucks. Get yourself a scrumptious waffle. Don’t forget to check in on Unilocal for a nice discount!

By far the best waffle you will ever have I make Wednesday my go to waffle Wednesday and they always show me love by making the best waffles in town. Now leggo that ego and come down to the brickyard pub every Wednesday in North Hollywood and you won’t be disappointed. See you every Wednesday guys

Myself and a buddy of mine have made it a point to stop through every Wednesday for the past month and half or so. The food is always on point. The guys make the experience all the worthwhile. Make it a priority or add this item to your bucket list. Make it a point to stop by and witness greatness wrapped in perfection.

Waffles were very tasty and they were conveniently at the finish line of the Long Beach Marathon/Half Marathon and Bike Tour. The Chicken was very good with well seasoned chicken and pesto sauce, swiss cheese and sun dried tomatoes. The waffle itself was yummy. It was kind of pricey for a waffle sandwich though — $ 9.

つº oº つ RAISEYOURCUTLERY つº oº つ I perused their long menu and decided on the Baconlicious waffle. This waffle includes a freshly-made waffle, scrambled eggs, applewood smoked bacon, and a side of syrup. As I watched the crew cook my waffle in one of several waffle irons in the truck, my excitement grew. Firstly, I’ll say that the waffle itself was great. How could it not be, they made the damn thing while I watched. However, I’ve never enjoyed scrambled eggs from a food truck(and fast food places as well, for that matter), and that sentiment still stands today. The eggs didn’t taste like they were freshly made, which is really important in serving eggs that don’t suck. The bacon was fine too, kinda wish it was crispier, but I think that’s just a preference thing. The worst offense was the syrup. Holy cow, it tasted like it was sugarfree. Yuck. To be frank, I don’t think the breakfast taco thing is really the right racket for a quality food proprietor. It just seems like too much has to go right for something really memorable to be produced. Leave that crap to Taco Bell, they seem to be doing okay using eggs of probably similar quality and whatever meat disc they have on hand. I wish I had ordered a dessert waffle, I’m sure those are fantastic since their waffles are so good. Hard to go wrong with just sugar as a topping, I saw those buckets of Nutella they got in there. Oh well. Happy Eating! — The Gourmand League
