Tuesday Morning

Tuesday morning is my go-​to source for any little thing that I need. It really is astounding how many little knick-​nacks they have in stock. God spot for a last second birthday gift, anything you need to furnish or put the finishing touches on your home, and a friendly location to visit!

Found a lot of great items. Prices are super!
There are only 2 cons:
— You dig have to dig around bit sometimes to find what you are looking for.
— i wish they had shoes.

I go here for everything. Today I bought some vases. I’ve bought luggage here all the time, towels, cheese knives, almost anything you are looking for they have it here. It’s like marshalls without clothes. Highly recommend coming in.

Very random store. I find a lot of good stuff but you literally have to dig through everything. It’s a cross between a big lots and a marshals type store. The store is not the most organized, especially when you go towards the back of the store. The people working there are usually pretty nice. I would not go out of my way to shop here but it’s by the Vons I shop at.

This place is ridiculous in the BEST possible way! Every time I go in for something small (like a shower curtain) I come out with at least 6 amazing bargains. My favourite has to be the $ 400 DKNY 800 threadcount sheets in my favourite colour, mint green — reduced to $ 40!!! Anyways I digress. The staff are always super kind and they even replaced a jug that broke by the time I got home. Love, love!

Pretty good deals here, but sometimes you have to hunt around as inventory is not necessarily consistent for the same items.
For example, I have bought some Mechanix gloves for my boyfriend here before and when he needed another pair and I went back, they said they hadn’t had the item in stock for about 4 months. I ended up going to Home Depot and have since bought 2 pairs there vs. Here.
But then today, I went in for some work out towels, and I was able to get 12 for $ 3.99 …a great deal!
We have bought pet items, kitchen items, and even received an outdoor umbrella from the store as a house warming gift. A great place to find different things for the home I would recommend going in with a list and asking for the certain items… unless you’re just in a shopping mood.

This is what you would call a rich man’s Big Lots or Marshall’s. The only difference is you can get service at those other stores. My wife and I had browsed the store and found a couple of items that we wanted to buy. When we got to the regester, there was no one there. We waited for several minutes when a forlorn looking young man came up and said that he was not scheduled to be a checker and the manager should be out in a couple of minutes to ring us up. As the line behind us grew, he just stood there… didnt go tell the manager that there is a line of people waiting to be rung up, just stood there for about 5 minutes and then he signed into a regester and rung up our order,

I ALWAYS find what I need in Tuesday Morning. It never let’s me down. For example, one time I stopped in needing white tee shirts. I wasn’t hosting a wet tee shirt contest, but if I was — I would have been good to go. As some people have stated, TM is similar in nature to a Big Lots. You’ll find a way better quality selection here though.
I’ve bought bed linens, pillows, kitchenware, luggage, and just basically a ton of random items depending on what my needs were at the moment. Tuesday Morning is like you’re best friend when you need a save. It’s always there for you. The mark downs and deals here are second to none. If you come in on the right day you can get $ 100 silk bed linens for $ 20. Tell me that’s not a deal.
Another time I stopped in to pick up a Barbie doll for a toys for tots drive. I figure most of the toys in the bin would be for boys, so I’d do the opposite and pick something up for a little girl. Of course TM bailed me out once again. They actually had so many barbies to choose from I was semi freaked out.
Moral of the story: If you need something and you want it for a good price, stop in to Tuesday Morning and odds are they have what you’re looking for.

I bought a great bed and some other items at TM in PB. There were a couple of issues with the bed once the boxes were opened… parts missing… cracks…but the owner was very helpful, immediately accommodating, and exchanged what I needed without hesitation. So, not only do they have some great items in the store at great prices, but the customer service I received was top notch, and that’s important.

You need to sign up for the flyers. Today I am getting a KitchenAid blender for more than half price and a Viking cordless blender for also more than half price. Love this store!

I love Tuesday morning when I need a nice birthday gift, some new towels, or just random cool stuff. I always find something that I didn’t know that I needed. They have great prices.

What the heck is Tuesday Morning, besides that awful thing that happens after surviving the first day of the workweek?
It is a glorifully no frills upscale Big Lots. It is a personified oxymoron, and it is worth stopping in to if you have some specific needs.
My own personal use generally revolves around stuffed animals (which I have a penchant for giving to people at random times) and kitchen ware.
The prices are REALLY good, and so is the quality of the merchandise. The problem is that their inventory is sorta come to in the same manner as Big Lots, so it is stuff that was just collecting dust in warehouses. SOOOOO … hit or miss on them having what you need when you need it.
BUT … on the chance that they do, you will score big time on price.
Expect no service, and you will be delighted at how nobody will bother you.

Tuesday Morning is kind of like Big Lots but with lots of well-​heeled suburban mothers. Generally speaking they have a good Christmas section, a good stationery/​gift wrap section, and a good baby section. Here are some of the gems I’ve found here:

Provence calendars (good for the Francophile in your life)
