Great Mexican food for great prices! I’m not one to get quesadillas at a place because they mark it up so much but theirs are pretty dang big and dang yummy! They have killed carne asada and some of the best salsa sauce I’ve found around here. Their location is ok but a little out of the way depending on your route. But they have a drive thru so it makes it all ok! Staff is professional and personable which is rare in Mexican food shops. You can definitely tell that they love their job in the way they greet you and treat you during your experience. I know I just found my little patch of heaven in mission gorge/valley! I’m going to frequent this place from now on!

Taco Fiesta. First taco stand I ever experienced southern California Mexican food. I always get the same: Carne Asada Burrito. What can I say? It’s pretty hard for any Mexican joint to screw up a carne asada burrito.(although a place on Lake Murray Blvd. gave it a helluva try) Also, the carne asada fries and fish tacos are pretty decent. All in all, the food tastes good. I can still taste it 3 hours after I finished.

Pretty good Mexican food. Their quality is average, their service is consistent along with the food. Really large portions, I’d recommend sharing. The nachos grande with carne asada are my absolute favourite. Yum! The prices are great as well, and open 24hours.

One late night after work(at 2am) I decided to stop on by and try a different 24 hour place. Boy were my expectations flunked. I used to go to the Taco Fiesta near my high school so I figured why not. After ordering Carne Asada Fries(which this place used to be well known for) at the drive-thru the guy looked at me incredibly suspiciously(not used to customers at this hour are ya?). He then took my card and handed me my food with a measly 2 salsas. I asked for more and he put 3 more in. WOW5TINYSALSAS good job dude. For something this huge you’d expect them to give you 5 – 7 off the bat but I guess not this evening. When i got home to unravel what I had just acquired I couldn’t help but notice how dry and flimsy the fries were… Under-cooked and disgusting I couldn’t even finish them Lesson Learned: Don’t go here past regular people waking hours because you will be apathetically disappointed

The food is good here but this restaurant has shady business practices. I was overcharged here twice and the second time I asked for the receipt the cashier looked at me funny like she had been caught red handed. I’m glad I got my money back, but I won’t be coming here again. Word of advice to this lady and others who steal from customers– it doesn’t work out in the long run.

California burrito is more than stale fries, carne and cheese. And it’s $ 6.20+tax. Nachos deluxe. Chips, cheese, meet and sour cream. For $ 8+ tax. Lame. Ps. I was came here when it was good. Now it gets worse every time I go.

After switching management, I won’t return– used to be the only taco shop I would go to. They’ve messed up orders on numerous occasions, communication is limited sometimes, and I often am waiting 30+ mins for my food(wasn’t it «fast food»)? Quality has dipped, and so has the customer service. Sorry Taco Fiesta, but I won’t return:(

Just got home from ordering 2 meals. When I got home which is 3 minutes away, the food was cold and the sodas we’re flat. Check your order before leaving

I went thru the drive thru and order carne Asada chips. Me and my wife always share them but I don’t like guacamole. So I kindly asked if they could put guac on the side in a cup. No big deal right? Wrong! She said we can’t do that. We are not allowed to. I have came by b4 and they have done it, I explained and kindly ask again to please put in cup and she shouted«uhhh no, so do u want the guac or not?» Very rude I couldn’t believe it. I’m never coming back . Stay away if you have special orders

Solid mexican food, especially in the realm of 24-hour joints. Their menu items tend to be a tad bit pricey for the amount of food you get(e.g. the burritos could be bigger for their price tag), and when they’re busy it can take a while to get your food. All in all though, I think it’s worth it in the name of convenience and decent quality. I often find myself picking Taco Fiesta over the Sombrero’s across the street. They always throw the hot sauce in your bag without asking, which is appreciated, and if you pay with card, be ready to sign their receipt before leaving. My only gripe is the drive thru exit situation. If you have a car that is even remotely lower than a standard car, be prepared to maneuver yourself back onto Mission Gorge at an angle. The dip is steeeeep and the driveway for the exit is only wide enough for 1 car. Sometimes if the parking spots beside it are empty, I’ll just drive through them and exit through the adjacent driveway which is much larger, but if they’re occupied, then the big dip is your only option out. My go-to’s: rolled tacos w/guacamole, cheese quesadilla deluxe, carne asada burrito

Open 24/7, good service and good food. You can’t go wrong. I always go with the vegetarian burrito and since I don’t eat cheese, they substitute the cheese for guacamole. Most places won’t do this and or they’ll charge extra. So I appreciate the gesture. You can’t dine in, but they have front patio seating.

I love this place, but lately I have been having issues. The main issue is… They have started saying that you can not ask for guacamole on the side of anything that comes with guacamole which is disappointing because my husband can’t eat onions(which is in there Guac). I don’t understand this since the guacamole is in the price and the poor girl at the window told me that she has had multiple people vey upset about this. If you can’t get something on the side then it should not be part of the menu item. Overall, good food, but customer service is lacking!

I wish I had a better experience here given all the great reviews, but I was super disappointed in their rolled tacos. They looked great, but were actually really hard and not at all enjoyable :(

I know, I know. It didn’t take me long. Just a couple drinks and a night out at a concert… Then it’s back to my old ways making late night visits to Taco Fiesta. Even after all we’ve been through… Thought about getting a veggie burrito but TF only includes beans, rice, and salsa fresca or something like that and adding cheese, sour cream, and guac can add up. Sooo back to the shredded beef Flying Saucer. And a last minute side of rice. Despite there being only two people working the order window and the kitchen and having to wait for the guy at the window to take the orders of 4 or so orders before tending to ours, the ordeal was well worth the wait. «This is one of the best Taco Fiesta meals,» said the boyfriend who got the carnitas plate. I agree. Back on board TF!

I’ve been here twice already, and both times they had exceptional Mexican food. The main reason why I go here is because it’s next to my sister’s place(where I sleepover) and it’s open 24/7, so I go here after late night shifts. It’s strictly a drive-thru spot with seating on an outside patio. The food is pretty cheap. I don’t recall how much my California burrito was the last I went, but I remember it being good. Recently, I had 3 rolled tacos. It’s $ 3.20 with either guacamole or sour cream, but I got both as well as cheese. For all that extra stuff, it was $.75 more. They don’t tell you your total at the window, so I was anticipating how much it was going to be. The rolled tacos were overpowered by the toppings, but still good. The customer service is nonexistent, but I go here for late night food, so I don’t mind.

First time here. I only went to Taco Fiesta because my original choice was already closed… The food was decent. I ordered two California burritos and 3 rolled tacos with guac & cheese to go. I was annoyed that the cheese in my burrito wasn’t at all melted(although the other burrito’s cheese was). The fries could’ve been crispier and the meat less chewy. Rolled tacos were nothing noteworthy. Customer service gets one star in my opinion. When waiting for my food at the window, the employee grabs the plastic tip jar hanging over the side(which is practically one foot away from my face), checks to see that it was empty, then throws it loudly back over to sway right in front of me. I found this extremely unprofessional. Also happy I didn’t tip. Then, when receiving my food I asked the same employee if it already came with hot sauce. She wasn’t listening to me, but instead was talking to her coworker outside. I asked again louder, no attention. I drove away. 3 stars is generous for my experience, but they’re open 24 hours which I like.

This is one of those taco shops that have no inside seating, but a nice patio out in front and a busy drive thru. I ate on the patio and ordered a ham, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito and had them add picadillo to the burrito for a small extra charge. A charge that they should disclose before they charge you. The burrito was of average size and well wrapped in a large buttery large flour tortilla. I have to commend them in using a very good quality flour tortilla. The burrito came well stuffed with well scrambled and seasoned scrambled eggs. The ham was chopped into cubes and was quite savory. I was pleased that added a very good amount of thinly shredded cheddar cheese and the picadillo was fresh and very tasty. In a nutshell, it was a very good breakfast burrito that I enjoyed very much. The young lady at the window was nice, but I wish she would of told me there was an extra charge for the picadillo. I still would of ordered it, but they should inform their customers. The drive thru was quite busy and the patio was pretty clean except for a few hot sauce marks on table. Speaking of hot sauce, the red hot sauce I ate with the burrito had some good heat and tasted good.

A lot of restaurants close early around here(I’m looking at you Lolita’s). Thanks to Comic Con, I was searching for my first meal of the day, at 10pm. Taco Fiesta did not disappoint. Decent quality food and good service. FOOD Carne Asada Fries — Thin, crisp fries. Good balance of ingredients. Higher than average quality Asada. SERVICE Order at the window. Pick up your food when it’s ready. I didn’t have a long wait and I had no issues. PARKING Average sized, shared parking lot.

Is it possible to properly rate a Mexican joint that you visit at 1AM five stars when you only order ONE thing? Yes, yes it is. Especially when it’s been ages since you’ve had carne asada fries that were actually anything remotely considered decent. How does one properly rate carne asada fries for maximum potency? Well, my list is as follows: 1. Thin and crispy fries — check 2. Guacamole — check 3. Sour cream — check 4. No beans — check 5. Cheese — check 6, Tons of carne asada — CHECK It really isn’t a difficult equation, yet somehow even some of my most favorite Mexican places manage to bungle this simple formula up. Either way, I miss San Diego and decent Mexican food is #1 on that list.
