Starbucks

Reason for 3 stars was because they did not have white mocha. I took the regular mocha and it was still very good. The barista was very friendly and explained how white mocha is a top seller and they had ran out.

Smaller location. Only seating for 3 or 4. Good service. No wifi.

This SB was larger than the norm. It has plenty of seating and the staff was cool. I found the parking lot a little too busy for my taste. On this trip I ordered one of their delicious seasonal drinks: the pumpkin spice latte and my standard iced lemon pound cake (a personal favorite)
Starbucks doesn’t make the best drinks out there, but they make consistently decent drinks. Great coffee shops are spread out. Starbucks is everywhere. 4 stars for convenience and decent products.

Good place to go and hang out. Good service at this one this is one of my favorite Starbucks. This place is the best.

This is our favorite Starbucks in San Diego. We vacation here a few times a year and this is part of our tradition.

I have to be very careful reviewing this Von’s because this is my fav Von’s-even though there are LOTSA HOT GUYS at the Von’s in PB. The Starbucks girls (and 1 guy) here on Midway are very nice and give great service. That fact alone would merit this Starbucks 5 Unilocal Stars for sure.
HOWEVER, Von’s Starbucks are the red-​haired step-​children of the Starbucks chain. Why do I say this? Because they only send that damnable Pike’s coffee bean flavor to the Von’s Starbucks and the really flavorful Bold blends are not shipped. When I am shelving out a couple of bucks on some caffeine, I want what I want and not what some flunkie at the Von’s warehouse decides to ship.
For the past few weeks, whenever I run into this Von’s Starbucks, the nice manager Sabrina always apologizes for «being out of bold.» She explained to me she never forgets to order it; it’s just that they don’t send it. I think it is an absolute CRIME for Von’s Starbucks to deprive their shopping customers the enhanced coffee experience that bold coffee provides.
Most people now will probably say-«Well, just don’t go there if they don’t have bold coffee available.» That is not the point. Von’s Starbucks needs to quit pretending they are a real Starbucks if they can’t cough up the strong stuff the regular customers like me want. Accessing this Starbucks is easy-​I can park right near the front and in only a few steps, be right in there. That’s important when it’s hard for me to walk with my messed up knee.
Von’s Starbucks, get your act together because I will go around to all the other Von’s Starbucks and if they are out too, I will Unilocal that fact. Watch your Unilocal Star average go DOWN– DOWN– DOWN– like the used coffee grounds I throw on my compost pile!
