Seriously this place sucks. I wanted to leave after my first couple of bites and just dash on the check. I had this thought over and over again while I was still eating. By the time I had gone up for a 2nd plate; having left most of my first uneaten, I made some smarter decisions and tried to talk my self into liking it a little bit. All I was able to do was convince myself to eat enough so I wouldn’t have to pay for another meal somewhere else. The sweet and sour soup and maybe the chow mien would be the only things I would even thing about touching again. Most people would tell you I am not that picky about food, I will eat almost anything. This place was awful. Will never ever be back! Never!

D — U — M — P! My partner and I always wanted to try this place but there was never anyone eating there so we always skipped it. Tonight we drove by… at a time we’ve never been by before… and the place was packed! So we gave it a shot. Our first clue to run should have been the $ 8.95 price tag. The second clue should have been the film that covered all the food because it had been sitting too long. We tried a little of everything… the only thing we liked was the steamed rice and Diet Coke. Everything we tried had an odd taste. The pot stickers tasted like plastic, the chow main tasted like sour cabbage and the sweet and sour pork tasted more like mystery meat than pork. The ladies were super nice and the service was great but the food and the décor was so crappy… I only give it one star. If you’re looking for a good Chinese buffet, try Great Moon in PB or Sunrise Buffet in Kearny Mesa.

Yes, this place was just gross!!! I do realize at buffets you generally don’t get the best food and this place was no exception. The food had a nasty film on it from sitting to long in the pans. The sweet and sour pork tasted so gross, it was like chewing on a piece of rubber. I got so grossed out from the weird chunks of unidentifiable meat in the pot stickers that I had to quit eating. I will say that the servers are very nice and attentive. Needles to say I won’t be back.

by far worst Chinese buffet ever!!! like 3 tour buses showed up while we were there. they must have some kinda deal with the tourist companies, they obviously don’t care about return business!!! food was cold, soggy and all tasted the same.

I was really hoping this was going to be a good chinese buffet… there were even Chinese people in the restaurant! Well… it’s a no go all the way. The sweet and sour pork(chicken?) was more like rocky rubble. The bbq pork was like beef jerkey at a 7 – 11 and the rest of the food was just as miserable. I would never go back there again on pain of death… ever! About $ 10 for the meal and not worth it…

The war wonton soup was to die for! Ample amount of chicken, large shrimp, bbq pork, veggies and the broth was perfect! I dont usually eat chinese food when im hung over but the soup was very light and easy to eat. The buffet was also great. It’s a mom and pop joint and the owners are super sweet! I would prefer this place over Sam Woo in the Ranch 99 plaza because I dont think they use MSG, it’s not as crowded and you dont have to drive all the way to Convoy for good Chinese food. I think Corey G. needs to realize that most buffets costs more than $ 10 these days! He should hit up Hometown Buffet because I dont think he knows how real Chinese food tastes like!

Food was not good. Either undercooked or overcooked. Cost for buffet was about $ 10/person…definitely not worth it

This Chinese buffet is delicious. I would never have thought to try it, but I’m glad I did. It’s very fresh and the service is quick. It’s nothing fancy, just the standard buffet style with all of the Chinese food norms, but if you’re looking for a yummy buffet that’s low-key, check this one out for sure!
