I read some of the reviews and it tells me that we have a number of people who know nothing about the flavors of Chinese food. For the people who order the food to be delivered … ah maybe you should visit the location and then look up the phone # to the Health Department. In honesty, im not trying to be mean or nasty but fact is fact people. The man at the counter was very nice and pleasant and that was the only redeeming quailty. I thank myself for not using this location for date night. My order was simple … House Mixed Fried Rice … nothing I can say or do on this order would be redeeming … It was bad, and when I say bad thats not being honest … it was awful … NOFLAVOR, NOCOLOR, THEBEEFWASTOUGH, ITHADSHRIMP(3) THERICEWAS? I DONTEVENKNOWHOWTOEXPLAINIT … save your money !

We are regular orderers from China Ann. Delivery is always prompt and polite. The food is no MSG so if youre looking for overy salted and fatty chinese food, maybe not for you. They have great specials, and the portions are good. The egg foo young is amazing! its the size of a dinner plate and the brown sauce is tasty. My wife LOVES the hot and sour soup. Not every dish is my favority, Ive definitely had better egg rolls and chow mein, but all in all this place is a winner especially with FREEDELIVERY!

Horrible food! Bland, tasteless and I’m very worried I’m going to have Beijing butthole after eating one piece of their disgusting chicken. Delivery man smelled like weed. Much better food at Panda Express.

If I could give this review a lesser review I would. Unfortunately I have to give a star. Unfortunately. I place my order today for soup, white rice, and chow main at 9 exactly. The owner on the phone was nice and told me it would be 45 minutes. Which seems like a while for Chinese takeout but I was okay with it. I live on campus at USD so I know it’s a tad confusing to get to. I asked if they knew where it was and they said yes. About 50 minutes go buy and they called me at 9:48 and the man on the phone was completely in a different spot. I was trying to explain to him that he was in the wrong spot and not at all near where I was. As I was giving him directions to my apartment complex, he was talking over me, not listening, and just repeating where he was at saying he was going to park his car here. He ended up completely just hanging up on me and said he would call back. Very rude, when I was helping him. After this another number, the manager calls me and was trying to get me to explain to someone not driving the car how to get to me. I explained the directs probably 5 times. I get ubers all the time and no one has ever had this much difficulty finding me. Given that these other people. Actually listen to me and don’t talk over me. At 10:30 the manager calls me, not the delivery boy. And I go and get my food. I leave no tip because they’re way later than they credited me and the delivery boy was very very rude. As I’m walking away he holds up the receipt and yells after me «Don’t f**king call ever again!». Because I had his managers phone number I called him and explained what he had said and he apologized but didn’t offer my food for free after this experience. I have had difficult clients in my line of work but I always keep my cool and I never disrespect them. I told him I wouldn’t pay after this experience, it was my old time ordering from this place and the delivery boy yelled at me afterwards. Once I get inside, the delivery boy takes it upon himself to TEXT my number, and tell me «Please don’t call more asshole… 40 mines» «By bayley». Which I have no idea what the last text meant. I called the manager and he goes«oh well he isn’t here yet I haven’t talked to him». His employee texted me directly and called me and asshole, and that was his only response. Clearly these people who work here cannot handle their own jobs that they perform every day on a daily bases, so don’t bother. They may give your phone number to a thousand people and harass you after they bring you your cold food. This WHOLE thing was ridiculous. If they keep this worker, they are doing the wrong thing.

This place is my absolute favorite delivery Chinese in San Diego. Get The Kung Po chicken with steamed rice and fried wontons. They are perfect every single time!!!

I was skeptical because of all the bad reviews, but glad to try it out myself. I ordered the dinner combo, Green Pepper Steak and Onion with steam rice, eye drop soup and egg roll. When I placed my order, they said it would be about 30 – 45 mins. Which is was, but that’s not a big deal because I told me ahead of time. The food was good Chinese food. I think maybe the individuals who want more«flavor» was use to the MSG in Chinese food, but the brochure clearly says no MSG. The egg roll will obviously not be as crunchy as if it were ordered fresh. Its like ordering french fries to go. Once you take in travel time, it will get soft. Its good Chinese food for delivery. I will order again.

Chicken was soggy and of poor quality. Crab Rangoon were tiny and tasted awful. You’d be better off buying frozen Chinese and just microwaving your food because I’m pretty sure that’s all they did. Now I’m out my $ 35 and still hungry… pretty sure I’m going to throw up soon…:)737shdbjdkdnneidjh yep, threw up :(

I would not recommend ordering food from this place. Unless you wanna be up all night throwing up. I ordered for delivery and the food gave me and my friend food poisoning.

Decent. Food made fresh, clean restaurant. A little bland but it’s cheap. And blahblah blah… Stupid Unilocal

wish I had heeded the warning of the poor reviews, but am truly aching for some good Chinese-American takeout and delivery in my area. in many of the reviews I read, the Unilocalers had mentioned that the food was bland. goodness were they right. soy sauce, plum sauce, spicy mustard didn’t do anything to make it any better. I ended up throwing out the majority of my food because of the blandness and my worry about the chicken. it was VERY dark and did not taste fresh at all. not necessarily rotten, but most definitely not what I would serve my family at home. I ordered a lunch special general Tsaos chicken with mixed fried rice. it came with an egg roll. the egg roll was not crunchy at all which made me believe it had been microwaved from yesterday. the chicken, although breaded, also lacked any texture. the breeding was completely soggy and very unappetizing. I ate the broccoli, water chestnuts and canned mushrooms out of the sauce and threw the rest away. the hot and sour soup was also a disappointment lacking flavor. the consistency was nice but more filling and some spicy kick would have made it much better. the only thing that I ended up «enjoying» were the crab rangoons. on the menus listed on Unilocal, they are described as cheese wontons so beware.:they DO have crab meat within them. I love crab rangoons so was happy with this. the new menu that they delivered with the food does say this. the delivery was quite fast and the prices were reasonable but I am disappointed that I wasted over $ 10 on food that I threw away. and I would just like to point out that I am far from picky and ALWAYS save my leftovers!

Living in Point Loma means that I have limited choices for asian restaurant that will deliver. While searching for one, I found this place. The lady who answered the phone is very courteous and though I had a hard time understanding her, She made sure that she got my order correctly. It took them 30 minutes to deliver my food which I cannot complain about. I only paid $ 18.00 for lunch meal and an alacarte which is reasonable enough to satisfy my cravings. Food is decent enough for the amount I paid. Will order again and would recommend this place.

Was almost scared away by the bad reviews but glad we ordered! Delivery was prompt and accurate and food was tasty though we did add a bit of salt to a couple of the dishes. I’m not really sure what people expect because this is pretty much what I want when I order delivery Chinese food. Plan to order again.

Decent food. Good prices. Free delivery. My friend hates the food here but I actually think it’s decent. We order China Ann delivery all the time at work. The lunch/dinner specials are cheap and easy. But the egg-rolls are awful. Just stay away from them and you get a decent meal. I gave 4 stars because of the free delivery service. The food is a solid 3 stars of good: not great, but not bad.

This place has free delivery and a lot on the menu to choose from. It’s open a little later than most places to satisfy that late night craving. Friendly place with friendly staff, just have to get past the language barrier. But all in all it’s worth it.

Ordered delivery from this place because I just didn’t have the energy to drive anywhere. First off, VERY fast service! That definitely gets them high ratings. Over the phone I was quoted within 45 min but less than 20 min later, I had the delivery guy knocking on my door with hot and fresh food. Portions are good for 2 – 3 people depending on how much you eat. Good sizes. Taste… I ordered a sweet and sour chicken and beef fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken was pretty good. Nice you can taste the freshness. The beef fried rice on the other hand… I knew something was up when you couldn’t even smell it. It was bland. Not much flavor at all. With some soy sauce, it was do-able but def could not pass as a stand alone meal. The meat had no flavor. Again, the saltiness of the soy sauce helps it some. I wish I ordered fried wontons as I was really craving those. Pricing was reasonable. 7.80 each dish. Pretty standard. I’ll order something different next time and update.

This place is HORRIBLE! They never delivered our food, and when we called they just said ‘hello’…this isn’t even a real place, not a business for sure. I will never order from here again.

TOTALLY bland, gross, long delivery… Don’t bother. Seriously, I tried to eat it. But was so, so, a let down. I’d rather go to panda express in the PB Vons… For real the best thing about this meal was the fortune cookie. At least it wasn’t stale.

That food really is not good. The sweet and sour pork was gross and I’ve never even tasted mushy wonton soup. I received a flyer on my door yesterday and thought to try it, but should have foregone the invitation. I see why they offer free delivery now, because their food is not good. I have to say that the egg fried rice was actually decent, but besides that? No way. There are tons of better places that deliver so don’t waste your time, money or taste buds.

We ordered delivery. It took an hour to get here, but that’s exactly the time they quoted me when I ordered. The food was good, typical American style Chinese. No complaints, nothing to rave about either. Reading the reviews I’m guessing there is one good manager and one bad manager, or something similar related to issues with the staff. I’ve seen that happen at other places with inconsistent service. We didn’t have any problems but it sounds like other people have.

Omg where do I start with this review! Well first off we ordered our food at 730pm we got our food at 940pm!!! We called after the 45 minute expected arrival time and was given a story that the driver was stuck in a garage! Um what kind of garage is this driver in? They said they are making us a fresh batch! Well not only did we have to call them again to tell them they got the wrong order the food was not even good! I ordered the dinner special of general Tso’s chicken… Um that was not good at all. The rice was cold and the chicken was lacking. The flavoring was not great! It did not taste like most Asian restaurants. I will not be ordering from this establishment at all. My recommendation is that you be weary of ordering from here too. I just moved to the area and had this menu on my door. Wish I looked at Unilocal before ordering. It seems I am not the only one who feel this place is not a good place to order from! If you do, I hope you had a better experience!
