It looks like garbage but the food is delish! Open late, great prices and a kids menu. My favorite is def their carne Asada and pollo Asada. Better then grabbing a bite at Mc Donald’s!

Fantastic mini(street) tacos, especially with the adobada — comes with radishes, a grilled pepper, and guacamole, very fresh. I like the rolled tacos and the bean and cheese burrito. They make everything fresh so be sure to get chips!

I have given this place two tries because it’s right by my my house butI just can’t… Their beans are the saltiest thing I have EVER tasted. It littérateur tastes toxic. I thought maybe it was a bad batch the first time but the second time I realized they must just think the way to cook beans is with a million pounds of salt. They are also SOEXPENSIVE. It was $ 17 for 2 burritos and a side of rice. They also used to have a B grade posted. I will not be trying this place again

I come here relatively often(it’s the only drive thru taco shop within a block from me) and the service is relatively nice and quick. Today, a new person was taking drive thru orders. I specified 3 times that I wanted potato tacos because he kept saying«rolled tacos», but I said«potato tacos» 3 times so I figured he heard. When I got up to the window I made sure they were potato again, and he immediate started blaming me for not saying potato tacos, and made sure I knew it was my fault that he thought it was rolled tacos. Obviously I was speechless at this point because I’ve never had someone at a restaurant try to blame me for their screwup, especially since I clearly told them what I wanted. So he told the cooks(who also gave me a resentful look) to change it to potato tacos. I usually never write reviews but I felt so crappy after this exchange. Don’t come here if you want friendly people serving you food. These guys obviously weren’t happy to be there and took it out on customers. I definitely won’t be back.

Surf and turf burritos are pricy but sooooo worth it. Bring cash to avoid the transaction fee of 45¢. I always ask for red sauce only but the green is bomb too. Breakfast and veggie burritos are good lower cost burrito options.

My friends and I just came here because it was the first fast food drive thru Mexican place we saw off the freeway and we were starving. Lets just say our stomachs did not feel good at all after we got our California burrito and carne asada fries. It wasn’t that great to me. The French fries were so soggy. I think I would find another Mexican food place in the area

The girl working tonight called me a bitch. All I wanted was some food she obviously hates her life. She was the most disrespectful person I’ve met in my life. All I want to know is what I did to make her act like the most disrespectful person I’ve ever met. She should be fired immediately on her horrible behavior and lack of respect for any human being. I would never do anything to an individual like she did to me tonight because she was so mean. I will Never order food or drinks at this at this place again because of her!

I rarely ever give bad ratings if ever. Luckily this place is located next to a college campus so business is a guarantee. Don’t come on a Friday night, the young woman with dark hair and usually wears a ponytail provides the worst customer service ever– our large group almost left but were hungry for the time. The food isn’t amazing and for the price so it’s a shame, because it could go a long way. Unfortunately the Mexican place across the street has no drive through, but it was a sign when we went there first and moved here because they had a line and senior panchos did not.

Señor Pancho is the place to come to when you have a Mexican food craving and want to take it to go. I would compare it to Alberto’s/Alerto’s in quality and venue. I recently had their carne asada fries. Generally speaking they’re tasty and satisfying but compared to Alberto’s they’re just ok. The meat isn’t as flavorful but is still good. They give you a big portion and they come with lots of cheese, guac and sour cream. Their red salsa is pretty good and enhances the flavor of the fries. I definitely recommend dousing the fries in their salsas. One thing I wish they had is horchata. My Mexican food craving is never completely satisfied without a cup of horchata and I’m pretty surprised they don’t have it here. I’ve also had their quesadillas which have generous amounts of carne asada and cheese. Again, you’ll want to make use of the red and green salsas. The drive thru service here has always been fine, no rude comments or attitude. This is a solid, A-ok place to get fast Mexican food to go.

Fabulous food. I have been coming here since 2007 and I just love their Pollo Asado burritos. They are probably the best I ever had in my life. I have ate at other señor pancho locations but their burritos /tostadas suck big time. The location is not someone can miss out. They have these concrete benches in the back where you can sit but don’t expect ambiance and comfort. Señor panchos college area is all about their mouth watering food and nothing else.

The fat ugly chick at the cash register was probabaly the rudest person iv ever met. And excuse my French but I am usually super nice. She was just pure evil. I sat and watched her purposely hold my orders while it sat that for at least 10 minutes because for some reason she obviously didn’t like me since she over hear me say this place takes forever. When I had already been waiting for 20 minutes and counting. She continued to stare me down and make rude comments. I will never be going back to this place ever again. And I am suggesting that she be fired for everyone else around me commented on her being completely rude. Please do the SDSU community and get rid of that horrible human being at the cash register who doesn’t deserve to have a job. Thank you! And god bless.

Came here at 2:30 am this morning. The carne asada nachos were incredible. Came with chips, beans, sour cream, guacamole, melted cheese, jalapeños, and even came with a side of queso on the side. Better than trujillos

Señor Panchos has been my go-to late night spot for the three years that I lived by SDSU. It’s much cheaper and less crowded than Trujillos and I believe you get more for your moneys worth. I also get the supreme chicken quesadilla which comes with a huge quesadila and guacemole, salsa and sourcream on the side. I don’t think I’ve ever finished it in one sitting so it’s nice to have leftovers for the next day. While the food isn’t 5 star. It’s quick, easy and gets the job done. i don’t believe it gets the credit it deserves!

$ 1.95 for a side of sour cream is advertised on the menu. That’s a lot for a side! They only charged me $.79 to add it though. 1 Green and 2 red hot sauce provided. Green was Ortega based. Red was guajillo based. The red was sweet and spicy. Pretty good hot sauce. Rolled tacos were good. They tasted freshly rolled and deep fried. Guac is good and fresh.

When it comes to late night eating, señor pancho comes through in the clutch. I have been there twice after night’s of partying and they definitely do a good job of bringing sobriety back to the college. The California burrito isn’t the best I’ve ever had but it isn’t bad at all. It’s actually pretty big and packs a good bite of flavor. I look forward to dining here most weekends in an effort to satisfy my drunchies.

Drive through Señor Pancho and skip that long line at Trujillo’s! Pancho is my favorite convenient amigo. Drive through and get your food quick. And who doesn’t love the engineering marvel: the triangular prism building?! I used to grab a breakfast burrito all the time. Good salsa. California burritos are perfect in the late night after a house party or two. Note: Trujillo’s has better food and options. But it’s only worth it if you want to eat inside(since no drive through and often it is busy busy busy). If you are taking your food to go, their is no comparison. Warning for you Unilocalers: Don’t expect their employees to kiss the ground you walk on. I’ve read many complaints about their customer service, but I have never had any issues. Perhaps it is because I am not overly picky?

I’ve only had one thing at this place for the last 17 years is pollo asado burrito. Everytime I come back to SD it’s the first place I go. Best asado burrito ever. No dry meat, no beans and rice to take up space just Carne!!! My personal fav is the College and Montezuma location in the heart of SDSU!

I tend to come here out of convenience, which seems to be the case for most people. The location is easily accessible, the drive through is fast, and there is rarely a line. In my opinion, the food isn’t terrible – it’s just done a little differently from other places. I specifically come HERE for a California burrito with REAL potato slices rather than french fries(although this is a negative point for many other reviewers), because I can get a french fry filled burrito pretty much anywhere else in San Diego. The carne asada nachos are amazing – something I haven’t found elsewhere. The rolled tacos are good, and come with a very generous portion of guacamole. It’s not the greatest taco shop around by any means, but nothing I’ve eaten here so far has been a disappointment. However, I agree with all the reviews that mention horrible customer service. The woman at the drive through is always extremely rude.

So I used to come here all the time when I went to school in San Diego. Every time I come back to San Diego I have to stop and get a pollo asada burrito. All I have to say is that I left Vegas at 7am this morning and despite bad traffic and a growling stomach since I skipped breakfast this was the only place I was stopping for food. Mission accomplished… Now time to watch a friend get hitched and drive back to Vegas… Trust me, it’s worth it! Ps. Customer service was never their thing so come, enjoy the food and the amazing SD weather… It’s already 110 in Vegas… Try sitting out side!
