Organic food truck is hands down the best! Friendly staff, very clean, and all the food is fresh. Highly recommend to anyone. The catering is amazing, My favorites are the lobster Mac and cheese, the grilled chicken plate, and the Asian rice. So good, give them a try!

We loved the food from the organic food truck. We had the grass fed burger and ahi salad. Both were delicious. The staff was very friendly and the food was quickly delivered.

The Organic Food Truck has incredibly tasty yummy food! I could eat those brussels sprouts every day! The burgers, the rice dishes and that glorious lamb has my mouth watering as I type this. Jack is a true gentleman who aims to please even the youngest customer. I can’t wait for our next encounter!

We went to an event and the Organic Food Truck was there. Awesome food and good portions. My fiancée and I shared the burger, chili dog and a salad. The burger– cooked medium just the way I wanted. So good! Big enough to share. Probably one of the healthiest burgers I’ve tasted.(I wish I knew were the truck was now actually so I could get one!) The chili dog– my fiancée really like this one because it wasn’t greasy at all(like most chili dogs are) The chili was hearty and spiced just right The salad– fresh and portion was huge Overall, we had a good dinner and experience. I would definitely recommend trying anything in the menu, especially the burgers!

We tried Organic Food Truck at the Ballast Point Scripp Ranch location. While I was excited by the fact they were all organic offering the food itself was blah. I had their brussels sprout side. It was extremely salty and I couldn’t finish it. For my main I had the ahi tuna salad. The salad was huge but the tuna wasn’t fresh. I would suggest if you get the salad that would be your only item because it was that big. In the future we will pass on going Ballast Point when this food truck is schedule to be there.

Went to their truck today and had the burger. The burger was bland and tasteless nothing special. Sometimes I give people a brake on my review if the customer service is outstanding. The service here was piss poor and that is saying it very lightly. I asked the employee inside the truck a question and he rolled his eyes at me. Listen if you are going to work with the public it’s best you learn how to engage with the consumer especially if your food is pretty bad. People save your money and take a detour to Seasons 52! That place is quality with great service.

I’m eating this now as we speak! I ordered the lobster mac & cheese $ 12 and it’s pretty good! The service was fast, you even get compliments from the friendly cashier as you order lol I just wish they had dessert options because I have a sweet tooth.

This truck was set up at my apartment complex and so I decided to give it a shot. Extra bonus was I realized I had a groupon that I accidentally bought for this same truck… score! Their truck is all organic and most options are gluten free, or can be made gluten free. I ordered the brussel sprouts, roasted potatoes, chicken plate, and salmon plate. The brussel sprouts were amazing! The roasted potatoes weren’t bad, but they had alot of goat cheese on them and I’m not a big fan of goat cheese. The prices were a little high and I wish the chicken and salmon plate had a larger portion of the meats. There was ALOT of salad and rice in the dishes. If they are parked in front of my building again I will definitely be back to get more of their food, even if it is just the brussel sprouts!

I was able to try this food truck because they were stopped at my friend’s apartment complex one night. We tried the salmon and chicken plate, brussel sprouts and roasted potatoes. I liked the chicken better than the salmon, which I felt was slightly overdone. And the potatoes were good altough a little too much goat cheese. The chicken and rice I really liked and we both thought the brussel sprouts were excellent. Slightly unusual to be praising brussel sprouts I know, but they were tasty. I like that everything is gluten-free and while I’m used to prices being elevated when food is gluten-free, it was still a little pricey. Even so, I think if I were to happen by the truck again I would go back– if just for the sprouts.

I had OFT come to our property where I work for the first time and the food was delicious! I tried the sauteed brussel sprouts which were amazing and then had the organic chili dog. Both filling! Other residents enjoyed the burger and the lobster mac n’ cheese. Jack the owner, is very nice and easy to talk to — he is passionate about the food and making everyone happy. I will definitely have the OFT back again!

The food was both Very Good and also Terrible. AVOID the Mac and Cheese which is WRETCHED. The grilled Lamb Chops was Excellent, tasty, tender and correctly cooked. The grilled Chicken was Good, as was the Hamburger and the Roasted Brussel Sprouts. So order the grilled meats. The rating is for the grilled meats.

I am so happy to find Organic Food Truck!!! The food is fresh, healthy and delicious… everything I could ask for:) I ordered Grass Fed O-Burger and my husband had lamb with brown rice and brussel sprouts. He said it was the best lamb and brussel sprouts he’s ever eaten! Both meals were to die for! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. A true indulgence!

My $ 12 lobster mac n cheese had 2 tiny pieces of penny size IMITATIONCRAB in it, on top of that it wasn’t even that tasty! I hate it when restaurants call imitation crab«lobsters», do you think we are idiots? My $ 5 Brussels sprouts was the smallest side of Brussels sprouts I have ever seen. Basically I got half the portion of what this person got! WTF

The Organic Food Truck is absolutely delicious! They catered an office picnic this afternoon and the food was wonderful. Not only was the food amazing, Jack(the owner) and his crew were personable, friendly and extremely helpful. I sampled the Lobster Mac-n-Cheese, the Grass-fed Burger and the Seared Ahi Tuna Salad which were all wonderfully done. If I had to name a favorite, I must say it was the Grass Fed Burger. It was cooked perfectly and the side of potatoes was the perfect compliment. I only wish I could’ve eaten more(like the brussels sprouts!). We will definitely use the Organic Food Truck again in the future!

I just ate here today and asked for my burger to be medium. After a few bites, I realized the burger was pretty freaking rare — super pink inside and mushy. At least they apologized and re-cooked it. Let’s just hope they at least use a meat thermometer to make sure the burger reached the appropriate temperature in the center. Being worried about eating pretty rare ground beef is never a good experience
Having worked events tied with food trucks for over 15 years, I will say that this truck excels at excellent quality food that is also great tasting and healthy for you! They focus on organic foods that are hormone free, non GMO, gluten & pesticide free too. The owner, Jack, was a previous kickboxing fighter who had over his career, 7 different nutritionists from around the world. When he finished his fighting career, he focused on the nutrition of his menu to stand out from the crowd. The menu looks AND tastes too class, and the pictures on the truck match well to the overall product. With a great price point ranging from $ 6– $ 13, you will not go hungry. If you see this food truck parked and doing business, I suggest stopping by for a meal!

My mom was eager to use the $ 20 groupon deal before it expires at the end of this month. We checked the Organic Food Truck website( ) for this weekend’s schedule and saw it would be parked by Liberty Station for an event called«Kids Fest». Upon arrival we saw that the food truck was within the festival grounds and we would have to pay $ 20 per person for entrance into the venue. Luckily the truck has their number painted on the back, so my mom gave Organic Food Truck a ring to see if they would be able to serve us over the fence… super cheap, I know. Jacek, one of the owners, was extremely nice and accommodating. He gladly took our order and joked around with us as we carried out this whole transaction on opposite sides of a fence. I was happy to see there was a variety of diet options for carnivores, as well as vegans, vegetarians, and pescatarians. I opted for the Veggie Burger($ 9.00) served on a bun(can also be served wrapped in lettuce instead of on a bun) with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and avocado. The veggie patty was flavorful and pretty substantial for being a veggie patty. I highly recommend you ask for the burger with goat cheese and a balsamic reduction. Delicious! I’m craving it right now tbh. We also demolished a side of Sautéed Brussels Sprouts($ 5.00). The brussels sprouts are sautéed in chardonnay, olive oil and house seasoning per the description on the website. I’d order it again. Thanks Jacek and Organic Food Truck for the great service and delicious food! I’m definitely going to try and grub on a veggie burger again when you visit Ballast Point.

I’m going to start off by saying that in general I am not a big fan of food trucks. But it almost seems that San Diego and a lot of other cities have fallen into the ‘food truck’ craze that’s going on. I was basically tempted by this food truck just because my other options for the area were limited at the time. But I found this truck pulled up in the parking lot of a place I was working at for the day. From the pictures on the side of the truck( ) you were given a glimpse of some pretty good looking food, however the prices were mighty steep. We are talking 10 – 12 $ for a plate of food from a food truck. Seems kinda pricey doesn’t it? This food truck prides its self on organic«healthy» food. They claim all their food( ) is free of GMOs, gluten free, etc etc. While that is good, it doesn’t necessarily mean its«healthy» for you. If you cook your food in super fattening oil, it’s still going to be high in calories and not be «healthy» as they claim. I personally don’t buy into the whole, its organic and gluten free, it must be good for you thing. The guy running the food truck was friendly and was happy to take my order. I noticed they took cards on the side of the truck, so I figured it would be no problem to hold onto my limited cash. What I didn’t know was they were going to charge me a credit card fee for using my card. The plate I ordered came to $ 10 as marked on the side of the truck, and added a bottle of water for $ 2(crazy prices I know). The guy quoted me $ 12 and swiped my card as I signed on the iphone. However my bank sends me a text message when my card gets used instantly, I was charged $ 12.96. Kind of a bummer they added that fee, or maybe it was taxes? Either way, not stating the price you are going to charge my card is a big deal. The chicken plate( ) came with a mixed green salad, side of brown rice and four small pieces of chicken thighs meat. The thigh meat was trimmed of fat pretty good and seasoned very well. The chicken was moist and tasted pretty damn good. I wish the plate had a bit more chicken at least. The brown rice was cooked decent, however the salad dressing was running off the salad into the rice which made the rice reek of balsamic taste. The mixed green( )salad had shaved almonds, bleu cheese crumbles, tomatoes, diced onions and a gallon of balsamic dressing on it. Of course I exaggerated a «gallon» but whoever was in charge of putting dressing on, went a little too nuts. The entire salad was covered in dressing which made it way too acidic for me to really finish. It also poured over into the rice and ruined that. While Organic Food Truck does attempt at selling a bit healthier organic food, it would be nice to see some healthier prices to go with it. I also don’t appreciate my card being charged more than I was quoted for. I would also put a limit on how much salad dressing you dump on the food, it really makes a difference. I don’t think I’d give this truck another chance though, just my take.
