very few customers it was dreary and depressing. in the 90 minutes I was there; there were maybe 5 people in the place

As a first time visitor to an adult theater, I was pleased at the respectful group of voyures. The couples room needs to loose the cup holders or provide a more comfortable seating option. We made the best of it and had a great time.

This place is cool the live girl behind the glass is cool you can watch her play with her self as you rub one out if you want, the theater is big with 4 tvs and the lady at the front is real nice and helpful

I love going to jolar shopping and enjoying the rear theatre. staff is so nice there’s always parking a must for a fri sat evening stop Great selection of goodies.

My first experience here (today) was pretty cool. At the time of this review, it costs $ 10 to have 4 hours of access to the large theater (2 rooms separated by a doorway. Each room has about 20 seats each, and has two 50 inch flat screens each). Walking back there, you’ll pass a set of rooms where live girls give a private show behind glass. There are also about 15 video booths that have lockable privacy doors. Two of the booths are about 3 times the size of the others. The last both I’ll mention is specifically designed to accommodate wheelchairs.
There is also a video rental preview booth where you can pay $ 7 to watch a rental dvd for as long as that movie lasts — you can fast forward, but not rewind. You don’t have to actually rent the video you want to preview.
There are some creepers — but they didn’t bother me.
The staff there is very friendly, helpful, and active in the management of their business… also hot (it was only women working there when I went).
Soooo…there I was…
I saw a scene in a booth earlier in the day that really got me going — so I got an idea to watch that scene again when it looped back through then take a private show with one of the live girls. I didn’t mind waiting around for the scene to roll back through because the live girls are personable with good senses of humor… sense of humors? Not sure on the grammar there so I gave you both. So I did that. I remembered the scene just prior — so when that cued up, I left the small booth I was in and went into one of the larger booths right across from live girls. I watched that super-​hot scene and immediately informed «Tiffany» that I was ready for her live show. I confirmed that she could see me behind the glass and she started. Wow is descriptive enough… but her live show was HOT. It didn’t take me long to finish (as I knew it wouldn’t). A few seconds before finishing, I tapped the glass and beckoned her forward with my free hand. She immediately accommodated my request and really seemed to enjoy watching me too. She was very verbal! I’m looking forward to getting back to San Diego and Jolar Theater.
One last thing, the place is very clean. There was a somewhat depressed woman constantly cleaning with a mop and bucket. I left a $ 5 tip for her on the chair after my private show since it was likely going to require some extra mopping.
Just a wow experience for me. I wish they’d had that dvd I liked as a rental (maybe it was already rented out) so I wouldn’t have to wait for it to loop back through… but still… wow.
Remember, kids: Proper planning leads to desired results. …but kids shouldn’t even be reading this.

Stopped last Saturday night around 9pm. Very friendly, helpful staff. The assistant manager had a great attitude, and both sales reps were nice enough to open packages for us so we could test out various toys.

When you drive by this place, I have to admit it does look creepy. We were in the mood for some creepy-​ness so we were decided to go in. Very small but great selection on novelty items. There is a entrance door with a dollar admission lighted up on top we knew what that room was for. We spoke to the lady behind the counter, was going to give her a dollar but she said that couples were free so hey let’s give it a try. You walk in the back in there is some rooms per se that you can pay and watch you know. And there are some live women back there. Honestly this place is not as creepy as other stores I’ve been in.

So, I didn’t realize there was a back to this place.
I came here for some, uh, supplies.
The store is small, but they sure cram a lot of stuff in there.

Well they have a few good things here. I never went in the back theater but the private shows behind glass was interesting the girls are a strong 7 – 8. If your bored and its late they are open 24hrs I think.

Better than most

Very good place to releave some stress…

I saw a ROTD about this place that reminded me of my visit.
Just passing by I thought it was a strip club only. I went in to buy movies, I had no idea of what was going on in the back until I read all the signs on the wall. They have some decent ‘adult movies’ but most of them seemed like they were from 1999. Small place w/​lots of toys on the walls to purchase. The dvd’s were cheap depending on the type you like, they even has some 3/​$ 20 deals. The only thing I didn’t like was you have to look through every single one because they weren’t put in any type of order. While I was there men were coming in & out mostly 50yrs & up looking for their usual girl in the back.
I could tell they come very often, because the guy behind the bullet proof glass knew them by name. You could hear the porn playing in the back very loudly like it was a porn concert or something going on. Maybe it’s to cover the sounds of moaning or maybe its to get the men that’s just buying dvd’s to follow the sound? Either way they had the speakers pumping. I was there for maybe an hour (due to the dvd’s not catorgorized) I counted at least 20 men coming & going. Whenever I’m in a porn store any guy that comes in get embarrised that I’m in there also, I’m assuming because I’m a chick, but hey I’m in the same store as you so chill out. Do you think I’m in there by accident or something.
While in line to pay an elderly man (who looked married) came in looking for ‘his gal’, who came out the back w/​a purple silk nighty/​matching robe. She had dirty blonde hair & looked like she took a hit b4 coming out of the back. She came & got her customer wearing just that & high heels, winked at me then took grandpa to the back. Idk what else is going in the back but I’m guessing ‘private shows’ mean a little more than you think.
The place is cool if you don’t want to pay outrageous F st book store prices for the exact same movies. Hell for $ 3/​day you can rent movies. Never been in the back & probably nevr will but the prices are nice.

So far, this is the best all around adult video/​theater in town.
They have a great selection of merchandise up front.
The DVD selection is great.
And the live fantasy booths and private video booths are second to none.
Give it a shot.
You might be surprised how much you like it!

For men I’m sure this place brings the fantasy of jacking off and watching porn to a WHOOOLE new and unimaginable level of pleasure… a live porn private show if you will. $ 10 for the booth, $ 10 for the girl. I believe the duration is about 5 minutes for that amount of money (?) but don’t quote me on that.
Dipped in to the «theater» for a quick second and I swear I saw Pee Wee Herman in there. Jacking off in a theater filled with other skeezers is not quite my cup of tea, but to each his own.
There was quite an abundance of parodied videos for your jacking [viewing] pleasure. From «This ain’t Seinfeld» to The Office, to Scrubs, etc. they have quite the selection. Call me crazy, but I’d rather not watch adult film stars who resemble the cast of Seinfeld when in a place like this or trying to jack off, but again, I’m sure I’m not their target clientele.
Perhaps because I’m a «lady» (ha ha) my standards are higher than the average man, but the smell of bleach that resonated in the hallways coupled with the man wheeling around a mop from room to room was a bit of a boner kill for me. On the positive side, at least you can rest assured that your biznass gets cleaned up pronto and you won’t have to worry about stepping into a sticky icky mess…
I imagine this place would get a guy a lot more «bang for their buck» (literally haha) than a strip club, because for the 20 bucks that would allow you to get a 2 and a half minute lap dance from a chick in a bikini you get a live porn show in an enclosed private area and can simultaneously pleasure yourself.

This is a great first date kind of place. Bring small change.

Jolar is a great place to go when you cannot get to sleep. They have booths that you can get private shows. I have never seen any male dancers there, but I never go anywhere but in the private booths for a private show.
