I have never been treated so horribly!!! Elle or Ella was extremely rude and unhelpful making rude comments and folding clothes in an angry way. I love the quality of the clothing but will never shop at that store because of the service

This one can be filed under the window shopping category. A designer out of LA, you’re looking at a streamlined modern boutique with luxe casual clothing for both sexes. Their waffle cashmere is on my wish list. All I have to do now is win the lottery.

It was empty here the day before Christmas. Everyone was crowding the other stores at the mall. The two sales ladies did not say a thing when I walked in and kept folding their already folded clothes. Why did I bother trying to spark a conversation? They must have been wearing ear plugs. Seems like everyone is avoiding the rude sales ladies at James Perse; the place was sparse. Bah! Humbug?!?

If I had the bucks, I would be a loyal costumer to the James Perse boutique. James Perse is a Los Angeles based designer who sells clothes that cater to the Southern California lifestyle. The clothes are relaxed and casual, yet I think are unique and stylish. There is a reason there is no Savile Row in SD, even the dressiest of dressers here don laid back clothes compare to Manhattan residents. But that is what I love about Southern California and that is what I love abut James Perse, the clothes fine, but the style is minimal and laid back. The shop has a lot of button up shirts and tanks that have a very lose and flowy fit. Personally, I fell in love with a little black dress with spaghetti straps when I visited the store, but tragically I can’t afford to spend over a $ 150 on a dress(although, I’m sure I would get a lot of use out of it). Most of the sales people at the boutique topped off their JP duds with a pair of Converses. All Stars shoes make the perfect accessory to a JP outfit because Chucks are always in style and they are affordable. I think the classic Converse is the perfect shoe, now I can only dream of how I’ll look with my perfect little black JP dress with my perfect pair of Converses. I think I know what to put at the top of my Christmas list.
