Awesome service and the best burgers! I would bring my family from out of town that don’t have In-N-Out where they live and they always love it and the next time they come to visit that’s where they want to eat!

Best fast food burger thus far… Animal fries are so good! Love the huge slice of onion in the cheeseburger. Went at 4pm so was not busy and no lineup! Shakes are really thick but not particularly flavorful(granted we did order vanilla)

I love In N Out. Who doesn’t? But I work in KM and this place has the worst and slowest customer service. I literally waited in the drive thru line for over 45 minutes. If you think I’m exaggerating I’ll show you the time stamped text messages to and from my co workers taking their orders, and texting them back when I’m finally back enroute to our work… almost an hour after I left. Hey In N Out, you are in the fast food business and most people only get 30 minutes for a break. I’m not a betting man, but I’d bet a paycheck that if every In N Out was run as poorly as this one, people would stop eating at your restaurant. Your business will do fine without me, but if I were you I’d intervene here ASAP.

Best place to hit up for late night food– delicious, handmade patties, soft buns(or you can even opt for a protein style which is pretty much a lettuce wrap burger), fresh and crisp fries, and they even make plain grilled cheeses. Love their natural milkshakes!

Ok let’s be real. The food is great. We all know that. So why 2 stars??? This is one of the most poorly thought out In N Outs in terms of design!!! The parking lot is small and parallels the drive thru. Thus, when the drive thru line is long(which is almost always), patrons are blocked from parking or leaving the lot because of the drive thru line! I’m also very confused about the efficiency of the workers here. They called 50 – 57 before 48! It was only a double double and animal style fries! What’s going on here??? NOBODY knows! Skip this location and head to other In-N-Out locations if you’re looking for more parking, efficiency, and zero headaches.

This is a small restaurant next to the freeway. Parking at In-N-Out restaurants is always a hassle but strangely, when we got there at noon today, there were actually a few parking spots open in front, so we snatched it. Once we walked in, there was no one in line so we ordered right away, then it only took about five minutes to receive our order. My dad accidentally ordered the wrong item so he talked to some of the girls working there about it and they accommodated to him and quickly gave him a new burger. So they’re pretty awesome for dealing with my dad’s complicated order. Fabulous experience due to the staff! PS– Hade is cute *heart eyes*

I love In-N-Out. Who doesn’t? Actually, if you don’t, please don’t tell me because I will just get defensive. This In-N-Out is super busy, but super efficient. Every staff is always SONICE, so friendly, and this place just hums. The parking is kind of a pain because the drive through line can hinder the ability to park in the lot, but there is street parking if you don’t want to risk that. The space is right off the 163, and is pretty much the size of every other In-N-Out. I applaud the uniformity of each location, but this one is closest to my house so therefore it is my favorite. Sometimes(oftentimes), it is just the best thing.

Like all other in N outs the burger, fries and drinks are consistent and taste great, the only drawback is waiting for your food because it’s usually busy no matter what time you come here. We came here during lunch time rush at noon and I waited about 15 minutes for my food. In my opinion that is about the average wait time at any in N out place. As long as you’re patience and not super hungry, then you’ll be fine. I usully get a double double with grilled onions. If not that then a double double protein style. I’m not very fond of their fries but that’s a personal preference. Their shakes are awesome if you haven’t tried that yet. I recommend any in N out to anybody who likes burgers and fries. You can’t go wrong with a regular cheeseburger, a double double or protein style burger!

Review for 10/21/2015 That’s right we celebrated the day the Marty McFly went back to the future with a night at the Reuben H Fleet… After the event, I was so hungry so I suggested to Hubbs I need to eat meat… so he was like I have an idea. So we drove up and parked and entered the facility… All I have to say is that Imani the girl at the front counter is a five star in all all things. She was polite, pleasant, courteous. She was a go-getter and she was focused. I went to the front counter to ask for a side of pickles. I don’t know how she saw me, but after a couple of minutes she came to the table that I was sitting at and asked me if I had been helped. I was very impressed with her customer service because when I was asking for pickles there were four people in line waiting to order. The food was great and I was glad that I got to see great customer service in action.

Don’t get me wrong, I love In N’ Out, especially the Not So Secret menu, but my god. Twice now I’ve found hair in my food and this time I thought to take a picture. I I didn’t complain because I was full and already halfway through my animal style fries when I found it but still. The service is great but I would love it so much more if they could keep the hair out of my food. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Consistency is what keeps me coming back. Doesn’t matter which location, you will always get the same quality. Double double is my usual with a side of well done fries. However, this particular location is a little bit harder to get to because it’s right by the freeway and if it’s rush hour, make sure to be patient turning into the driveway because sometimes oncoming cars are just flying down the street. I would always prefer to go to In-N-Out to satisfy a craving rather than spending a pretty penny to a sub par burger joint. I don’t care if you have bottomless fries, all you need is one really good serving of fresh cut fries and call it a day :)

In-N-Out has my favorite fast food burger. I love that I can get grilled onion on my burger and who doesn’t love their spread. Also, I can’t come here and not get the fries. They are always hot and taste awesome. They have great quality food and the food is always consistent no matter what location you go to. The food always tastes the same and is prepared the same way. The Kearny Mesa location is no exception. The only problem here is the line during lunch. Don’t be surprised if you are in line 30 minutes between noon and 1.

It’s ok… I like in and out, but a burger should never be pink inside… anything made with ground beef shouldn’t be pink inside… you guessed it… my double double was… pink inside. thats a bit off putting, usually a quieter location than the mission valley location… but not the same standard.

When I was on the way to San Jose and there was an in n out in the middle of no where it still tasted like in n out and every location I’ve been to it always tastes the same so I’m happy about that. What I’m not happy about is how I had 4 numbers before me and my order took 20 minutes. Just two normal cheeseburgers!!! Why!!! I’m complicated. I suppose I got my cheeseburger no vegetables of any sort. Just my bun, patty, animal styled and grilled onions. That is all. Got my burger and there was pickles. That was unnecessary and uncalled for. My burger was soiled.

In n Out SD Kearney Mesa(163) 11am Monday 24th August 2015 Four Stars After a year away from California, in n out is always on the list to eat. I went inside and ordered a 3×3 with extra lettuce and tomatoes add pickles no onions with a fry no salt and a vanilla shake. The workers were super friendly. The food was excellent as always. Two Pro Tips: A) if you pull the paper ketchup cups apart it holds way more ketchup. B) drink half of your milk shake and then add root beer for a soft serve float.

This In-N-Out is fine. The line typically moves pretty quickly when in the drive-thru. I’ve been to this one twice now. The first time was a 5 star visit, this one was more like a 3. The person taking orders was standing at the end of the parking lot, with a huge gap between him and the next car in line, blocking up traffic into the street. I asked him if he wanted me to move forward to prevent it from happening some more but he laughed and said no, he wanted to stand in the shade. I get that, but there was literally shade two car lengths forward where I would have stopped. That only bothered me because I was one of the customers stuck in the street. He didn’t bother asking if I was eating in my car, which I would have said no to, and they gave me my food in the box. Seems silly, but I hate it! It’s so messy. But the food is fantastic, and that’s consistent, so I will give 5 stars anyway.

In n Out is my go to fast food spot. This location is awesome! It’s central & right off the freeway. Because of its great location, the drive thru line can get realllly long. The staff is fast so I usually don’t have to wait too long. The food ALWAYS hits the spot. You have to get your burger animal style, which is extra spread & grilled onions. You can also get your burger protein style, which is a burger wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. A must is the animal style fries. A MUST! They also offer pup patties so your dog can enjoy In n Out too! It’s basically a meat patty with no salt. They’re only $ 0.85! One patty is a good amount for my puppy. FYI! They’re open late!

Ok, now I see what all the hype is about & I was definitely hyped! Not the easiest location to get in & out of, especially for drive-thru & parking customers. The drive-thru line was long, but it moved pretty quickly. Pleasant employees & decent prices. Small parking lot & small inside the restaurant. I decided on the hamburger & fries, both animal style. Best decision! Soft bun, fresh tomato & lettuce & seasoned, yummy beef patty, that yummy sauce, & tasty grilled onions. And the fries! Cut nicely & such a good taste. Sadly driving up 15, I couldn’t really enjoy all that food, wish I had the time to sit & savor it. :)

Came here the other night. It was late and the people in my group wanted a burger. I prefer this In-and-Out location versus Mission Valley because it is usually less crowded and parking is easier to find. So I ended up ordering a cheese burger«animal style» with fries and a drink. I have ordered cheese fries and animal style fries in the past, but that night i just wanted regular fries. You can also order a root beer float or Neapolitan shake, but I felt like having coke. We got there and it wasn’t too packed. We ordered and got our food within 10 minutes or so(4 people in our party). Burger was delicious and fries weren’t too soft or too crispy… just right. No complaints in our party everyone seemed pretty happy with their food. This is one of my favorite places to go for a fast food burger.

No doubt In-N-Out is one of to go places when I am in the mood for some fast food in the form of a burger. I normally order the Double Cheeseburger with added mustard and ketchup with fresh cut onions and fries, and it was not any different on this visit. The burger was great and had that great char flavor on the meat. The meat was juicy, lightly season, which I added more black pepper, and had an overall good beef flavor. The burger came with plenty of cheese and fresh butter lettuce. The bun was toasty, but moist and you got to love their secret sauce. Surprisingly enough, I was not able to taste the ketchup and mustard I asked for. Next time, I will double up on it. The french fries were very good and came a light golden brown. The came with a good amount of salt and were crispy. Service was very good. The ordering at the counter was quick, they brought my meal to me table, and my ice tea was refilled for me.
