Awesome dirty fries as you would imagine done in the dirty south. Mac & cheese, baked beans, pulled pork and some more… They are delish

He got his cooking skills from the Navy. The pulled pork was actually smoky and the catfish was bomb!!! The fries were real slices of potatoes.

The smell of hickory led me to a folding table and a home-made twenty gallon smoker-grill outside of the Til Two Club. I knew I’d be drinking and needed something in my stomach so I ordered up a sliced pork sandwich. Expecting the usual sad excuse for bbq(see Phil’s), my taste buds jumped to taste real balance of wood and pig. I’m so glad my friends were running behind, because it gave me time to order more. I went with the hotlinks and the chef’s recommendation of potato salad on the side. Potatoes were more mashed than saladed, and that was a real good thing. The hotlinks, were more of a hotdog and okay but nothing special without the bbq sauce(see Phil’s, again). Pro: smoked meats, potato salad, sauce. Needs improvement: hotlinks While eating, we had a great conversation about the need for that beautiful smoke ring which means real barbeque. He told me about turning his much-demanded backyard obsession into a catering and food stand business. I look forward to finding him outside of more bars for some late night tasty.
