Frazee Paint

My experience with the people in this store suggests they are incompetent.
I went in for a simple quart of interior flat. The employee claimed to be unfamiliar with the tint I needed. «Are you sure it’s by Frazee?» Yes, and I’ve ordered it before at this same desk, I told him. He went through a number of catalogs; nope, never heard of it. Must be really, really old. No, I said, I first used it in 2006. He made a phone call, got a paint formula, mixed up a quart and showed me a sample. It was a dirty brown. My paint was a bluish-​gray.
I went with Frazee in the first place because I knew they’d have the paint (or at least the formula) for a long, long time.
I ended up in Kearny Mesa, where the employee there found the proper formula mix in about 2 minutes on his computer. Bought the quart there.
The people in PB wasted half an hour of my time, and are losing money for the company. They need to be trained or fired.

Closed on weekends. Really? Was there a Starcraft convention or something? Really?! Who the hell is closed on the weekends?! Are you telling me you don’t want to make money on weekends? Or is this location just so frickin rich and flush with cash that they just don’t need to be open on weekends?

A joke. LOL… I walked in there and ask for a quote and these two guys sitting down clearly playing angry birds and didn’t want to work. I get it… It’s Friday. but they told me to come back because their computers where not compatible with west cost time. LOL… umm so you are saying I can’t buy anything after 2pm west coast time… what a joke.

knocked down two stars because when i asked about the crackle affects available i was directed straight to the product BUT when i asked how it worked (do you mix it with paint, use it over the paint) i was told «i don’t know, check online».
um, this response i would expect from home depot (who didn’t carry the crackle stuff) where each person has to know a whole store full of information, but at a PAINT (only paint) store i would expect more knowledgeable staff.
