Don’t go here. On Feb. 1, 2016, 7:50AM I bought two stale donuts and one lukewarm coffee at this D.D. location. Don’t go here!

Dunkin, although difficult to find, park and order, it’s a Dunkin!!! Always great and fulfilling!

Think you’re gonna get the same service you get from your local Dunkin anywhere outside of California? Think again. Long waits(despite having 4 – 5 employees working at one time), staff didn’t know what certain items were. I asked one time about the new ice cream flavors and was told that they had never heard of it. When I left, they had a giant poster in the window showing all the flavors. Heads up, they do not accept DD Perks coupons.

On my last day at my old job, I decided to commemorate the day with an early morning visit to San Diego. There aren’t many So Cal locations as of yet – the only Dunkin’ I was able to visit was on Camp Pendleton – so I looked forward to visiting this small store in San Diego. The Dunkin’ in this city is located close to the Embassy Suites, and I was fortunate enough to find street parking because I went pretty early. They were featuring OREO and Chips Ahoy-themed donuts and drinks, and since I love chocolate, I definitely wanted to try these while they were still available. There’s lots to choose from on the Dunkin’ menu, and there were several customers ahead of me. It was definitely tempting to get more than one donut … and, hey, if I didn’t have to go straight to work, I probably would have ordered more donuts for later. Even though my favorite donuts in SD still are at Donut Bar, Dunkin’ never disappoints and satisfies my craving for something sweet. And, there’s limited seating outside so you can enjoy your sweet treat right outside the store(if you have enough time with limited parking). Here’s what I got: «Chips Ahoy» Donut: This cookie-themed donut featured a chocolate glaze and plentiful crushed chunks of Chips Ahoy cookies. I liked the taste of the yeast donut and the cookies added a sweet, welcomed crunch. It’s too bad that this cookie variation was not on the regular menu, because I would have liked to enjoy it again. «OREO Cookie Iced Coffee»: Dunkin’ not only had cookie-themed donuts, but some of their featured coffee flavors were cookie themed as well. My friend ordered this drink on a different visit and said she disliked it, but I rather enjoyed it. It was pretty sweet, but I also was able to get my iced coffee with almond milk so I didn’t get an upset stomach. I wish the OREO taste were a little stronger, but it sufficed and had a subtle cookies and cream flavor to it. «Chocolate Peanut Butter Flavored Crème Donut»: If I were ordering more than one donut, I would have for sure gotten this one … since I love all things peanut butter and chocolate. Can’t wait to try this sweet concoction one day. «Chocolate Crumb Cake Donut»: While I usually prefer yeast donuts, once in a while, I’ll have a definite craving for a cake donut and this chocolate version never disappoints. Unlike other cake donuts, this one is moist and tastes fresh … it’s not dry and super crumbly.

I visited this Dunkin earlier today because I was taking the Amtrak down the street. I was very short on time — totally my fault, but I needed DD coffee fix. I’ve been to this location a few times before. It’s not my favorite or one I would go out of my way for. I walked in, it was 2:30pm. No other customers in sight. There were 5 employees behind the counter. The girl greeted me promptly and I ordered. I kept it simple do to being in a hurry. Iced coffee, black. Bagel, not toasted, RF creamed cheese. She asked if I wanted it on the side, I said sure. The same girl who took my order, then went to prepare my bagel, still with her coworkers standing around. 2 of them were hugging. It was weird and unprofessional. I was curious as to why no one else was assisting with my order?! The girl hands me my bagel then goes back to start my coffee WTF?! Like I said I was so short on time, no ones fault but my own but 4 other employees standing there not trying to speed up the process is absurd. I got my coffee and rushed to my train. Once I was settled, I went for my bagel and I was given veggie creamed cheese! Sorry, I have much higher standards, especially for Dunkin Donuts. If employees can stand around with no customers, then my order should be exact. I will not be returning to this location.

Konnichiwa, amiguitos!(^-^)v My first visit: Dunkin’ Donuts for yummy donuts!!!(^p^) I came to Dunkin’ Donuts in Downtown, San Diego, California on November 1, 2015 around 7:00 am. There were a few people for breakfast and yummy donuts. \(^-^)/ I got yummy donuts, but I did not like their donut stand in the back side of the counter. I really could not see the names of donuts, and some donuts’ tags were gone. So, I needed to point my forefinger at donuts.(; — ;) It was my first visit, but I still love Dunkin’s Donuts tho. \(^o^)/ Yummy!!!(^p^) Dunkin’ Donuts Menu in English:

Over staffed, inefficient team work, and poor customer service. I came here on 11/13/2015 at 10:50am and there were three employees of which only one was working on the Baskin Robins side and the other two were talking to each other about personal matters on the Dunkin’ Donuts side. There were customers waiting in line on the Dunkin’ Donuts side but it seem as if none were greeted until the person at the head of the line walked over to where the two employees talking were and asked for customer service. So of the two that were talking… one took customers’ orders while the other made and served them until the employee who was working on the Baskin Robins side came over. My order took a little longer for them to process than I would like because after the employee took my order and had no other customers to take orders from she went back to talking to the other employee about personal matters while only one employee made and served the food. Then I had to remind the employee who made and served my food about the drink I ordered so she had to ask the two employees who were talking about personal matters to make my drink while she continued to make other customers’ foods. It took almost 15 minutes from the time I placed my order till the time I received everything I ordered.

This place is awful. Their donuts suck, ice coffee is disgusting, people that work there looks miserable and parking is ridiculous. I guess east coast people swears by it, but it’s nothing amazing about them.

Donut fail. Was at the store at 6am to pickup donuts for the office and the doors were locked. Staff was inside getting the store ready and saw me at the door and didn’t even bother opening it. Tried both doors and still they wouldn’t let me in. the sign said open at 6am. Left at 6:10am.

So yes, I’ve had a few mishaps at this DD, but I will say that they have fixed any problem I’ve had with my orders. The manager at the store has been very nice, and I always see him busting his butt during busy times. I mainly go for the iced coffee which my friend got me hooked on:) I seriously have not tried anything else. But my favorite flavors have been cookie dough and now Pumpkin!(On the sweeter side) And I do get combos with my husband and son. We noticed the bread on some combos that have like a pretzel type bun is hard. We just stay away from those and get the wraps. My son loves the hash browns too:) And the donuts aren’t bad. I see ppl always getting ½ or full dozens, and that’s what usually holds up the line. If your in the area and want something different than Sbux, give it a try! Oh, and they don’t carry soy or almond milk.

Never could complain about this place coffee is great, donuts are great and most of all the staff is always so friendly! There’s a ton of bitter reviews from people who seem like your typical annoying prissy jerks you see in line with the«I’m an idiot» look

If this is what Dunkin Donuts has to offer on the west coast, then I suggest they stop migrating. I’m from New England. In fact, I was born and raised in Rhode Island which has the honor of having the most Dunkin Donuts’ per square mile in the country. Needless to say, Dunkin was my «go-to» spot when I needed my fix of coffee. The coffee wasn’t always perfect — but that’s what New Englanders come to expect. Overall, I loved Dunkin because the service was always quick and easy. And your bound to have a great cup of coffee MOST of the time. Now, this location is seriously a mess. When I moved to San Diego, I was excited to find out I picked one of the very few cities in Cali that has a Dunkin location. I’ve visited this place a few times now and each time I’m always disappointed. I’m not sure why I keep coming back — maybe it’s because I keep praying that this location will remind me of the places back in RI. The service is the worst — it’s slow, the staff doesn’t know what they are going half the time, and they always make awful coffee. Unlike Starbucks, instead of writing my coffee order on the cups, they type the entire order in the computer — down to the number of sugars, pumps of milks, etc. it’s a long, unnecessary process and half the time, the employees can’t find the buttons they need on the computer. Very frustrating. Speaking of the employees, they all seem disengaged, unmotivated and dull. No one seems like they want to be there and they are literally just going through the motions. Not a very inviting place. Sadly, I’ll probably be back because I need my Dunkin fix every so often. But my suggestion is to steer clear. Don’t bother.

If you go in the evening, you might be missing the crowds, but you’re definitely getting even slower service and stale donuts. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. I stayed next door at the Embassy Suites for Comic-Con and avoided the line out the door in the mornings. I stopped in at 7:30pm on a Sunday night. There were two families in front of me and two girls working. Both families were ordering specialty Baskin Robbins items. As you can see from my history of Unilocal reviews, I’m an easy-to-please customer. However, I completely lost my patience after waiting for TWENTY minutes to even be acknowledged or helped by the staff. This was not Coldstone quick scooping and creating to get to the next customer. These girls took their sweet time. How does it take 20 minutes to help two families? Unbelievable. Then, a third girl walks out and offers to help me. At this point, there’s a line out the door when there’d been none when I got in line. I tell her that there should really be a separate line of Dunkin due to quicker turnover for coffee/donut customers. She looked at me disgusted. She didn’t even apologize. I literally ordered my donuts, paid, and left within 60 seconds. But, I waited 20 minutes. And the donuts were stale. Consider yourselves warned. To the Dunkin Donuts company, if you’re going to put a location on the West Coast, be sure that you can please your customers. Everyone behind me in line looked just as pissed when I left.

I come here strictly for the coffee and usually get a breakfast sandwich and some hash browns too. I have yet to be satisfied but a breakfast sandwich here but man are the hash browns good! This visit kind of sucked! I was really excited for my coffee but so disappointed! I know I should have said something while I was there but it was way too hot to drink and I thought maybe it was just me. By the time I got home I was able to take a few sips of my coffee, very grossly bitter! There were some tiny chunks from the creamer and I know that sometimes happened if it’s too cold mixing with the hot coffee, but this time… I’m gonna say it was bad creamer! I had a few sips and it was just too overwhelming sourish! To top it off, my breakfast sandwich as usual was, meh! It had little flavor and the supposed to be fluffy crescent was flat and dense.

Donuts are great, always… but the service is always slow even when there are 4+ people working. It takes a good 7 – 10 minutes to get your coffee drink and there aren’t that many ordered at the same time. Donuts though are always yummy.

Usually I have no problems with this location but today was probably the worst customer service experience ever. We walked in and noticed one of the employees was chatting with someone who appeared to be an employee of a nearby establishment. When customers are present and you have people waiting you don’t have an obviously unprofessional conversation. Then the other employee walks by and asks the woman in front of us if she was still waiting. She replied«yes» and the female employee walked away. After walking past us and the customer in front of us a few more times without acknowledgement the gentlemen from before left and both employees came to a register and helped me, my friend and the woman in front of us. This was just the worst, these girls need to be fired or taught some customer service skills. Now although my friend and I have been here for over 10 – 15 minutes he just got his drink he waited for after standing there watching the employees not even start the drink right away with no other clear tasks that were of more importance. Pitiful. I love Dunkin.

I ordered two iced coffees and two donuts. The incompetent employee squished my bunny designed donut while grabbing it. Both coffees had so much sweetener/sugar to the point that every sip I drank had chucks of it in it. How hard is it to make a damn coffee?! Management really needs to be on top of its staff. I shouldn’t have to drink a coffee with thick clusters of sugar. The dunkin donuts in Santa Monica is exceptional. It is MUCH busier and yet are able to produce quality drinks. Don’t come to this location unless you want a horrible experience. Dunkin donuts, you have failed me.

This took some work to find, let me tell you what! The address leads you to a hotel. The DD is located in a small alley, accessible only by foot, between G Street and Harbor Drive. I drove down Pacific, CROSSED Harbor Drive, and parked in a small lot. Probably the closest and easiest parking you’ll find. The location is shared with a Baskin Robbins. No one was getting Baskin Robbins. A long line of people were waiting for glazed deliciousness. My turn came, and I promptly ordered up two dozen donuts for my roller derby team. I have to admit, I was worried that they didn’t have that many, but sure enough they filled my order. I got my tried and true sesame seed bagel. Tasted great.

First time at a Dunkin’ Donuts in the South Bay! This establishment is nestled into a little plaza right across from what looks like apartments. They’re combined with a Baskin-Robbins. They have outdoor seating and a little shelf by the window for you to organize your yummy drinks/donuts! I thought that was convenient. Because it was raining, I had a hot chocolate and a frosted/sprinkled donut. Bf ordered a frappucino thing from BR and had the chicken biscuit & maple donut. The donuts were both delicious! Bf said the chicken biscuit wasn’t very good, but I scolded him for ordering a chicken anything at a Dunkin’ Donuts in the first place! Hot chocolate was whatevs; better than most places but not the tastiest. I’m not a fan of coffee so I didn’t try it. Just a normal donut place with the plus being that it’s combined with Baskin-Robbins so you can order ice cream too!
