Dakota Bean

Stopped in after a Dr appmt — & where this used to be a fav coffee stand, I was not impressed with my regular Frappé iced/​blended Vanilla Latte… The baristas were very friendly (a plus) but my drink tasted like a vanilla shake; that’s not what I wanted or ordered.

Whenever I have to stop by Sharp in the morning for an appointment before work, I’m thankful this place is right outside! They serve coffee, other drinks, pastries and other random food items (they even have cup of noodles!). The lady who runs it is nice and friendly! I always just get a hazelnut latte. I have yet to try anything else, but that’s because I love hazelnut lattes. She gives you a chocolate covered coffee bean with your drink. BTW, Dakota Bean also takes cards, which is convenient!

Awesome discovery of the day! So happy I just found out about Dakota Bean coffee and pastries kiosk! I went to do my annual checkup at the local Sharp Rees and I don’t know if this is a new kiosk or what happened, but I have never noticed before! Today, just driving up hill towards the parking lot I noticed several signs indicating the presence of Dakota Bean. Small but full of coffee possibilities. Pumpkin spice latte season is on the corner and they are announcing several flavors already. The kiosk is very pleasant, full of positive messages and even you can borrow a ‘Be happy’ book and take a look while waiting for your order. There are a couple of bistro tables and chairs to enjoy your drinks there. Pastries and sandwiches looked very good but did not try today. My cappucino was excellent, accompanied by a choco covered-​coffee bean. I rather stop by here than go to the impersonal Starbucks on the corner.
