This place is horrible! The people that work here are rude and barely speak English. The gentlemen who works there kept trying to upsell me on EVERYTHING. I told him all I wanted was a basic mani/pedi & he just kept trying. Once I said no he was completely abrasive & literally made my nail beds bleed. This is supposed to be a relaxing experience… Completely opposite. Please save yourself time and money and do not go here

Was charged $ 5 for my nail polish(not gel, Polish) to be removed. On a $ 33 pedicure…

I rarely get my nails done but tried it out on a Saturday morning. Don’t tell me you can do nail art when the tech you assign me to doesn’t even know how to do it ALSO doesn’t have a separate brush or tool for it either! she had to wipe off nail polish off a brush that had a thinner brush to attempt it! that is RIDICULOUS.

Not too bad. Got gel shellac and the colors on the display when you choose it does NOT match up with the color that turns out on your nail. The first color I chose, I stopped her before she applied it on and then she told me «this is the color YOU chose» but she told me to choose another color and the other color didn’t match either. This is ridiculous. Never going back there ever again. Only reason for the TWO stars is the friendliness of the service.

I wish there was a no star option. My mom and I went in for a mani-pedi. They stacked two people with my mom and one with me and then made me wait for my manicure for 20 minutes. My mom finally left as the lady started on my nails an hour after we had arrived. I get acrylics done all the time so I know the steps, and she skipped cleaning my natural nails first. After that left me half way to answer the phone and talk to someone for ten minutes. Then didn’t come back to me because she was helping her coworker out with nail art that took forever. 3 and a half hours later, I left with uneven nails and nail polish all over my hands. DONOTGOHEREFORACRYLICNAILS. The worst.

Worst place in Mira Mesa. One star is still generous. I’d like to give them 0 star on their service. Will never recommend to anyone. If you want to get a good service like what you pay for it, dont go here. They just take your money and do it roughly. Their instruments do not look clean. They always open the seal before you can see and they clean the pedicure sink carelessly! Stay away!

took my daughter here over theweekend, wanted her nails done, 1 other person in the shop –it took 2 hrs and ended up being $ 45 –1) ask what their prices are 2) 2 hrs for nails is insane. Then the manicurist(a man) asked if I was paying cash and a tip? ballsy! I wont be using the place again for any of my daughters nor referring anyone to it

Stopped in for a pedi before work. It’s 90 degrees outside and there is no AC. Unbelievable. Should have skipped it and found somewhere else that is willing to spend the money on keeping their patrons happy. I won’t be back.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. My mom and I were getting our gel nails redone, so they put our hands in a bowl filled with HOT water, and even when I told her it was too hot for me, she said it’s supposed to be HOT like that. Uhm no. They were super rude. They got mad at me when I changed by nail color cause the one she put on ONE finger wasn’t one that I liked. They also rushed us in picking out a color. Then when I was writing down the tip on the receipt for me to sign, she hovered over me watching how much I was putting. I put $ 5 and she was like, «Are you not going to tip the other girl too?» That’s what completely pissed me off. Being the bigger people, we just went ahead and tipped another $ 5, but let’s just say they were rude overall. Never ever going back there again. I would highly recommend going to Escape at Tiffany Nails and Spa near Scripps, even though it’s a little bit more of a drive and pricier. They are super nice and friendly. And they even offer you water. DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE.

I don’t understand if you’re expensive AF why you still feel you need to charge your customer .75 cents to use a card. On top of that, your so concerned about your tip, that you’re going to question the amount I’m writing on the receipt to paying for 3 services. I had cash for additional tip. A TIPISNOTMANDATORYOKAY! I should have walked away without tipping. So I walked out of there paying $ 115.75 for 2 regular pedicures and a manicure. Im not even in love with the outcome of my nails.

This place is awful. I was in the salon for more thank 3.5 hours for a basic mani and pedi. Why I was there for so long I have no idea. I understand of people are trying to conserve the energy and not blast the a/c, but there was no air circulation in there and it was really hot. They must not clean their tools because I ended up getting a painful infection on my toe nail hours later. Save yourself money, pain and time and avoid this place. Ps. Overpriced for the terrible job they do! I paid almost 70 for an infection!

I was in desperate need for a manicure at 7 pm on a weekday, The only place that’s open late in miramesa was Color me Nail Spa. I called them ahead and they were happy to take me in. Peter did my nails and all i can say is he did a pretty good Job. $ 35.00 for fill with Polish sounded expensive + Tip sounded expensive, But it was worth every penny i paid. He did pays attention to what he does and wasn’t in rush. I would defiantly recommend him. However the salon doesn’t look very welcoming and its not relaxing

I don’t personally like this place, because they discriminate against male customers first of all. I don’t like how they handle customers, and I don’t see why they have to laugh at my feet. I told them I have this fungus problem with my feet, and they just laugh at me because they don’t usually get customers like me. They charge so much for the pedicure; it’s just bad customer service all over the place. The guy that works there is even a pervert i was watching him the whole time staring at other ladies; he looks like a dirtbag honestly. I’m never coming back to this place even though i live nearby it. :P

Do not go to this place! I normally don’t bother with writing reviews but I am making an exception for this place. I am only giving them one start because that is the lowest option, otherwise I would give them zero stars! First off this was not a relaxing experience, they make you feel rushed and if you ask them to fix a nail or file a different way they make you feel horrible for even asking. I went with my mom and sister in law and when my sister in law asked them to file more square the lady got huffy and then gave her the file and told her to finish it herself! Each one that worked on us dumped the dirty nail water they had us soak our hands into the tub that our feet were soaking in. I just felt gross and dirty when leaving. They hardly filed my nails at all, my cuticles were dry and hardly looked touched, the polish job was incomplete. Needless to say I gave no tip and seriously contemplated not paying but didn’t want to bother with them anymore. Save yourself the time, money, and headache and find someplace else to get your nails done.

About 10 years ago I was going to nail place called MKs in Tierrasanta and it was always busy until a man(never knew his name) and his wife Annie bought it. Annie was nice but the husband just stood at the front desk(actually it looked more like a podium) and counted money. Everytime I looked over thats what he was doing, untill someone came up to pay, then he would) just blurt out the price. I felt like I was in Sweat shop. It wasn’t the same fun shop, all the nail ladies seemed tense. I had asked one of them how business was and I was shocked when she said they were making 40% of what they used to make. And half the ladies had already quit. Forward to present day: I was in the center running errands so I stopped by to get a price list. I went in and only saw a man and two ladies working. The man turned from the register and he told me I was getting a mani pedi. I told him no, I wanted a price list to see what services they offered and he still insisted I’m getting something done. I got really annoyed and then it dawned on me. Its him! He’s come to destroy another nail shop! When I was heading back to the car I noticed other nail techs arriving and they were the unhappiest group I’ve ever seen. They didn’t seem like they wanted to be there either.

Two stars is generous. Let me start by saying I am Vietnamese but look Filipino. They assumed that I couldn’t speak their language so I understood everything they said. The ladies here are very pushy and try to sell you on every upgrade. When you decline, crap talking ensues. I got a mani/pedi in cold water, in which they ignored my request to warm up. The usual«massage» you get with a mani/pedi was actual uncomfortable than relaxing … But for $ 35 I guess I can’t complain about that but it deserves to be mentioned. Before she even finished my manicure, she was asking to reach my purse so she can take my money out to pay. Also, after THEY confirmed it was dry, I accidentally scraped a bit of paint off from putting on my seatbelt. I went back in to see if they can fix it, and again was met with rude comments in Vietnamese. Everyone was all sitting around and playing cards and I had to wait while the one lady that was actually working finished to touch up my one nail.

This was my first time coming to this location and I was blown away by the professionalism, attention to detail, and the care that was taken to fulfill my request. I had come from another nail salon, who will remain nameless, and they absolutely butchered my nails when applying a new full set of acrylic nails. Helen and Cathy did an absolutely amazing job fixing the mistakes left of my nails and toes. I left feeling extremely relaxed, confident, and sexy. Two days later and my nails still feel very secure, unchipped, and are just as beautiful as the moment I walked out of the salon. If your in the area or looking for a new, professional, clean, caring nail salon, and convenient parking… Look no further. I will be back again in three weeks and I look forward to this being my new nail salon!

This place is overpriced and way under served! The guy was really pushy, got upset when I refused to be upsold on my pedicure. He up sold doing my fill with out asking and even when I asked him to stop he said that he already started the manicure and that it was too late. The lady that did my pedicure was fantastic but the guy that did my fill was rough, grumpy, and did a shoddy job. Gel colors are way limited so beware! What should have been $ 45 quickly turned to $ 70. I will NEVER come here again.

The only reason I came in here was because I really needed my nails done and plus I was on my break for an hour and needed to come back at 5pm. So I came in for my appointment at 4pm last Saturday. I told them I just wanted my nails done. Acrylics with gel polish. The man that greeted me told me to sign in and said that I needed a pedicure. Which was weird that he said that because I was wearing shoes. still it was a rude remark. So I said no I didn’t want it and he kept saying it’s okay today I’ll give it to you for this price. Blah blah. So I told him I needed to be done by 5pm so I can go back to work. And he said no problem. They started to set up the pedicure and at this point I’m like whatever I guess I’ll just do the damn pedicure too. So the two ladies doing my nails were really nice but my acrylic just came out making my fingers look fat. I told her I wanted it almond shaped but the way it came out was just rounded. But whatever. The pedicure by the young lady was nice though and she took her time which was nice and relaxing. But in the end, I ended up spending $ 79 which was ridiculously expensive. I don’t think I’ll ever come back here again. Nor will I recommend this place to anyone. The guy who works there is probably the owner but his attitude and the way he talks to you is just rude. People do not like being hassle to get other things done when we specifically didn’t ask for it. And after saying no to your offer once is good enough so please don’t ask us or tell us we need our hands or feet done because it is pushing it. The ladies were nice and friendly and that’s the only reason why I give it a 2 star but I’m sorry but DONOT come here!!! I repeat! DONOTCOMEHERE!!!
