Clixtudios Photography

Chris and his assistant, Ashley, are creative, professional and friendly. This is the second time we have used Clixtudios for family portraits and we were again very pleased with our experience. We have a 7 month old baby and Chris was excellent at making funny faces and noises to get her to look at the camera. Chris is as comfortable with people as he is at wielding his camera — he is a joy to work with. We have been very pleased with his skills in the past and look forward to using him again in the future. I highly recommend Chris for any occasion.

Chris did an excellent job for us when we wanted a portrait shoot for the extended family of 12 done on the beach during our vacation.
We made all the arrangements via courteous and prompt email. As I was unfamiliar with the area he suggested several locations, and was helpful and accommodating when we had to reschedule due to an injury. He was not only on time but scoped out the location early and arranged a last minute location change for us.
He brought top quality equipment and two assistants, managed to elicit some genuine smiles out of my mother who always grimaces and tried out some creative shots, not all of which worked but some came out spectacular. He was professional and creative and genuinely interested in getting the shots we wanted. The images he provided the next day print beautifully, the only hard part was picking which of them to choose from.
Overall the session was fun, got great results that the entire family was happy with and was an excellent value. I highly recommend Clixtudios, and would hire Chris again.

Chris and his assistant are awesome! I wanted family and maternity photos while on vacation on the Big Island, and I didn’t start calling anyone until we arrived. Chris was able to accommodate us on very short notice (2 days) for a photos session, and had digital photos for us within 24 hrs + free retouching within his very reasonable price ($ 100/​hr).
We took the pictures before sunset at his recommended beach and they came out gorgeous! My husband commented that they came out better than our wedding photos. =) He was also very accommodating of my cranky Dad (who HATES getting his picture taken) and made it very easy and painless, helping to pose us and trying multiple angles and lighting for the best shots.
I highly recommend Chris to capture your vacation and family memories!

Chris is a pro. I watched his team work 2 different weddings in Kona and I’m very impressed with his friendly nature and obvious photographic skills. He’s very good with people.
