I found CJ on Unilocal (thank you, Unilocalers!) on my hunt for a good fresh pie for Thanksgiving. I left a message Thanksgiving Eve but wasn’t expecting to hear back given that every other place I found either was sold out, closed or not taking new orders. To my surprise, I got a call back from CJ at 8pm and he told me he would have fresh pies ready for me to pick up at 8am. We went and picked up a fresh apple pie and a pecan pie, and both were big hits with the family. (Warm up the pies in the oven and serve with ice cream — yummy!)
CJ was great — friendly and accommodating! We’ll be back!

I love this place! Whenever I’m craving something sweet I like to pop in here for one of their amazing cookies :) They also have a lot of homemade savory options as well — the dolmas and meat pies are amazing. I highly recommend this bakery if you’re in the mood for some amazing food, served with great customer service.

So sad to see Stephanie’s bakery go BUT CJ’s blueberry pie IS THE best I’ve had! Very unique and most importantly fresh! I’ve also had their apple pie which in my opinion is the best around. There are sweets which I’m sure are just as delicious! Homemade, local, fine and fresh ingredients. And a baker who knows what he’s doing!!! What more can you ask for?
