Chase Bank

Staff is fine, a bit slow at times but what really annoys me is the «Lobby».
This location does not have an ATM on the outside, instead, it has a «lobby».
The worst part about this «lobby» is that you cannot enter it outside of their regular business hours!
The sign, which is off the the side, says that the lobby hours are 9am-​6pm m-​f and some hours on the weekends. what good is a lobby if you cannot get in there outside of regular business hours?
This lobby should not even be called a lobby, but they have signs calling it a lobby and it even has a card reader that «unlocks» the doors. this reader will NOT unlock the doors outside of the lobby hours!

Arcelia (Arce) is also great to work with!

Bad location, no parking unless paying at the meter. Front foyer where the ATM is smells like urine. Couldn’t wait to leave!

I’m usually a generous Unilocaler, but Chase, I would give you zero stars if I could. Warning: I’m going to vent now and it’s not pretty…
I’m so annoyed with Chase bank and I’m so glad that I switched years ago! Back when it was WaMu, their policies were so simple and they didn’t have a million rules and fees. Since then, it’s just gone downhill!!!
My husband went in today to deposit some cash into my brother’s account and they wouldn’t let him. Seriously!!! Why!!! They said it’s a new policy since March that you can’t make a deposit into another person’s account. I’m not making a withdrawal, people! I’m adding money to the account! Dumbest rule ever!!!
My new bank doesn’t charge me ATM fees no matter where I am in the world. My new bank doesn’t have a million stupid rules PLUS I get interest every month on my checking account. That’s the standard all banks need to have. Don’t settle for anything less.

Manager was super attentive and quick. She seemed busy but still helped me out very quickly to open a chase liquid account. I was in and out in 15 minutes! She walked me through how to use it and everything, and even remembered my name when I came this morning! More than I expected.

Love this location. Super nice and clean, always friendly. Coffee and water station in the lobby. Great location.

Need atm card for entry, so I always feel safe when I’m Little Italy using this location. It’s a quick walk down India Street from any of my favorite Little Italy locations that I frequent.

Absolutely the worst banking experience I ever had. I walked in around 3 PM to send a wire transfer. There were one customer (s) at the bank including myself when I walked in. They do not have a sign in sheet or a particular area for people who need to talk to a banker, so I went up to a teller window. The teller said he will find a banker and for me to have a seat, which I did. I could see three employees in the banker area discussing something, and about ten minutes went by without anyone acknowledging me. Another person also came and sat down in the waiting area during this time, along with a third person whom I assumed was the dog walker for one of the bank employees. The dog promptly took a seat across from my seat, and the three (four) of us waited for them to finish chatting. Few minutes go by and the dog walker gets to go in. Another few minutes and another banker comes out and started talking to the person sitting across from me, no question on who was there first or who had inquired about sending a wire. I interrupted and said that I was the one waiting to send a wire, and I was told they will be with me in a minute. Another ten minutes go by, and the dog walker and the person who came in behind me are still inside and me outside; I just got up and walked away. Fortunately we have many Chase branches around that are courteous and professional, will make a point to avoid this one in the future.

I love my Little Italy branch! Stacy, the manager, has always given us great service for the last 4 years for our personal and business accounts. We tend to be a bit high maintenance between wire transfers, client deposits and lots of checks going out with our business banking and she is always happy to help me find a solution.

Horrible customer service. A lot of employees hanging out not really doing much of anything to assist the customers…

Great location. Great staff. When we moved to California from Virginia, we decided it was time to switch Banks. We moved from Bank of America to Chase for a few reasons. This Chase branch is very convenient for us because it’s only one block away.
What makes this such a great bank is the personnel. Every time we go into this (dog friendly) location we are greeted as if we were there just the day before. They personalize their service which is what makes this bank experience far superior to ones we have had in the past. The bankers you work with will treat you as if you are their only client.
I highly recommend Chase, and if it’s convenient for you, this location is a great place to do your personal banking out of.

I wanted to ESPECIALLY Thank Stacy at Chase Bank in Little Italy for not only HAPPILY changing my cash for the meter (the the Coronado Bank would not do across the street), but also for going above and beyond to send me my Disney membership card (that I left behind in my hurry). She took the time to call Disney, who then contacted me to put us in touch. I then called Stacy at CHASE and she fed exed it to me! Not only that, she even called to make sure that I did in fact receive the card! WHAT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! You dont get that sort of personal attention anymore from really anywhere. Thank You Stacy and Thank You Chase for hiring such great people!

Switched over to Chase after WAMU. Just opened up another account here and had the pleasure of working with Jeff. He was so genuinely nice and helpful. Thanks Jeff!

I needed to meet up with my team in order to open a business checking account and for some crazy reason we opted to use Chase. Call me crazy, but I guess it seemed kind of convenient at the time since I use them for my regular banking needs. Even then it was unwilling since my account was grandfathered in when Chase acquired Wamu.
When we got to the branch, I was delighted to see people bringing their dogs in. However, that’s about where the niceties stopped. While our personal banker was nice enough, he was extremely poorly trained. What’s more, Chase’s ridiculous red tape made it extremely complicated to sign up for a checking account and the ordeal took over an hour to complete. When I’ve opened accounts in the past (when it was a Wamu), it only took about 20 minutes and there were no issues. Now the accounts aren’t even free and the annual fees weren’t even disclosed so I got to enjoy the surprise when I got home.
Honestly, I’ve had it nearly up to here with Chase and wish that Wamu was still around. No hassle banking was about the greatest thing ever. I don’t know why Chase makes it such a pain in the ass to do business there, but it certainly doesn’t make me want to use their services in the future.
EDIT: I tried to call later in the afternoon to ask a simple question and then was put on hold for 10 minutes while my personal banker opted to ignore my call. I know because the woman who answered the phone said he was just standing there and didn’t pick up. Our team was led to believe that the account would be free when in fact there was a massive fee involved and our incompetent personal banker kept deferring to his equally incompetent manager. I opened the account today and I’m ready to close it immediately. I absolutely hate Chase and would never refer them to anybody.

Love the location of this WaMu on India St.– it’s a lot smaller than the one on Broadway, and usually much less busy.
