Z’s Cafe

I roll out of bed in the morning and I’m like– huh– I wonder what business I will claim «FIRST» on via Unilocal today. Because you don’t know until you punch it into Unilocal whether it’s been Unilocaled or not.
But I digress– this is the café that is located next door to Enoteca Style (
), my favorite lunch place in the city right now. I’ve been a couple times because Enoteca doesn’t do coffee. They serve organic, low acid coffee here, but I haven’t really been able to tell the difference. This is also a place that shows the UEFA Cup games on ESPN during the day.
The décor is a little cold, and you have to walk down from the street to get into the place– I find that to be a tad disconcerting, like I’m underground. It brings to mind unhealthfullness for some reason. But it’s also the only stand alone café till you get to the start of Little Italy two blocks down, so it can come in handy.
