I have always liked Luby’s for fresh vegetables and good food. I was not disappointed this time. I had s LuAnn plate with liver & onions, sautéed cabbage and kale as my 2 sides. I was surprised to see kale as a vegetable choice. My husband had the 4 vegetable plate, kale, cabbage, broccoli and okra as well as a side salad. We have been staying with our son in ICU for 7 days and eating every meal out. This was a nice change of pace. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.

Food was good but we had no waiter ever come give us refills or even introduce himself. I had to go up to the coke dispenser every time someone in my family needed more to drink.

I had the gumbo and deviled eggs for lunch and they were very good. Inexpensive and healthy lunch. I am trying to eat better and Luby’s has good soups and veggies.
