Amazing operation here. Bleachers set up to watch the glassworks. Friendly staff, explaining the process as they work through a piece. They showed us the materials up close. Gorgeous finished pieces too. Highly recommended.

Awesome place with beautiful items and friendly people. We really enjoyed watching the artists at work… and trust me they are artists! Nothing here is inexpensive but you’ll have a unique piece that’s for sure!

Beautiful glassworks! And it’s closer to the Riverwalk than it looks on a map. It only took us a few minutes to walk from La Villita. You can sit and watch them make amazing works of art just outside of the store. We purchased a unique oil lamp. The really cool part is that you can give them custom orders! This allows you to get the design you like in the colors that match your décor. The glass workers are extremely talented! We are so happy with what we bought.

Whoa! Too cool to watch them blow glass… and its free! You can sit about 10ft away from the action. They will periodically tell you what is going on so you know what is happening. No one was in there when we went which confused me, because I think this is a ‘must see’ that is up close and personal. It was very warm in there due to the equipment, so anytime other than summer would probably be a good time to go. Oh, they sell the art right there!

I had SUCH a hard time finding this place. Holy crap. Once I found it I was in love. This is our cities first established glass blowing store. I’ve seen stores like this but those were in Europe. The décor was amazing. By far some of the best glass blowing work I’ve seen in Texas at least. Obviously everything is going to be a bit pricey but it’s well worth it for the work that you’re getting. I completely agree with Jennifer L. this stuff will make your home. One piece is one room will bring everything together. It’s just amazing work and even if you’re not in the market for new furniture for your home or a little piece for your apartment, this place is still so much fun to visit!

Gini Garcia is our city’s glass-blowing bard. Her delicate, colorful, ornate glass bowls, lamp shades, figurines, and more are instantly recognized at the most exclusive Latin restaurants and beyond around town. It’s fitting: Garcia has said that her earthy, vibrant colors reflect her Hispanic heritage and land, a perfect match for our culturally tinged place on the South Texas map. Garcia’s crowning glories are her incredible chandelier-like drop-down light fixtures. They’re like something out of lucid dreams, or Alice in Wonderland: spiraling, multicolored flowers of all shapes and sizes mushroom amid tendril protrusions vie for space like pups at the teets in these dense creations. They’re incredible. One piece makes a statement for an entire house. Again, though, they’re pricey – she’s been commissioned by seemingly everyone in San Antonio(Texsan Heart Hospital, AT&T, etc.) and beyond(Warner Bros., Volvo).
