Just got home after waiting almost 20 mins for a kids meal just to discover they didn’t even give me my meal all I got was soggy cold fries and a «toy». When I called up there to speak with a manager she have HUGE attitude questioning my order saying she took the order and knows it was right then said I can come back and they will remake them… why would I drive in the pouring down rain to wait another 20 mins so when I asked for my money back all of a sudden she is a new manager and I have to call back in the morning because she can’t do anything.

Very disorganized. Took my order and never made it. I had to go to them and ask where my food was. Asked for a refund and the manager didn’t even apologize. She was yelling at her staff which appeared to be working hard.

Food is your typical Carl Jr. Food. Last trip on my way to work(around 6 am) they told me there would be a wait for coffee. I left without making a purchase.

If you’re on a New Years Diet, you can still go to the amazing Carl’s Jr. You can get a low carb version of any of their burgers by getting it wrapped in lettuce, instead of on a bun! Strange, but a great way to cheat a little instead of a lot! They also change the menu once in a while, to give you a variety of options.

Let’s get one thing straight– I’m not much of a red meat fan. But sometimes a girl just has to have a burger. Sometimes when that urge strikes, there isn’t time to make a call and schedule a date for a real restaurant. So you drive down the street until the right sign calls to you, and you deliberate over your selection, and stuff your face solo. And it is magical. Carl’s Jr is where this happens. This place has the biggest, juciest, tastiest burgers. I like that the menu has so much variety, including turkey, angus, and chicken burgers. I’ve never really been to their sister chains(Hardees, Green Burrito?), but the burgers here are killer. I was sad to discover that their portabella mushroom six dollar burger is a seasonal item, the lack of establishments that have a permanent mushroom burger are the menu is dismally low and this one is very high quality. Most of the time I’ve had great customer service at this location, though a couple of times the drive-thru wait has been beyond ridiculous. Considering the employees are usually young high school teens and college students, my orders are nearly always perfect and I have never encountered any sort of attitude problem, unlike other similar establishments with the same general employee population. A few notes though: your burger will likely require several napkins, because they are juicy(greasy? sorry, it’s amazing, I’m going to use the more flattering verbiage) as heck. In fact, if you’re self conscious about not looking like a rabid animal while eating in public, you may opt to eat this in the privacy of your car behind tinted windows– been there, done that. Also, despite being unfamiliar with Green Burrito, I have occasionally ordered off of that portion of the menu and it reminds me of a higher quality Taco Bell– like what TB used to be when I was growing up. The beef, bean, and cheese burrito, in addition to being inexpensive, is huge and hella cheesy. While burritos and burgers are not the first combination I think of, both are done well here.

Excited to see Carl’s Jr. back in San Antonio. I remember that, as a child growing up in New Braunfels, my parents used to take me to the town’s Carl’s Jr. Sadly, it closed after several years and many happy visits. I used to pine about those days. But no more! Carl’s is back in San Antonio. The Big Carl is a delicious choice if you enjoy McDonald’s Big Mac. It has a sauce that is similar to the Big Mac’s secret sauce, but the burger has Carl’s Jr.‘s distinctive chargrilled taste. I recently tried the turkey burger, which is advertised as being healthier choice than other offerings on the menu. Looking at the nutritional breakdown, it is, as advertised, under 500 calories. It also has only 4.5g of saturated fat. However, they make up for it in salt content. It has a whopping 1010mg of sodium! So, it’s a trade off. Oh, please bear in mind that these numbers are for the turkey burger alone, not the meal. Over all, I love Carl’s Jr. I have never had a bad experience from the serving staff and the food has always been pretty fresh and made to order. So, if you like the taste of a chargrilled burger and want side options other than just fries, give Carl’s a try.

We were very excited when Carl’s Jr. opened a couple of years ago. We are from the Midwest and were already fans of their sister chain, Hardee’s. In my opinion, Carl’s Jr.‘s is far superior to other burger chains(McD’s, BK, Wendy’s). Yes, the price is a bit higher than the others, but the quality and taste more than makes up for the price difference. +Coupons! They regularly send out flyers in the mail or check their website for printable coupons +$ 6 burger(not actually $ 6) are huge and tasty… The Jalapeño… mmmmm +Fries are crispy and actually include some potato! +Options: can order Green Burrito items and dessert +Hardees biscuits used in their breakfast items! We try not to make a habit out of picking up food from Carl’s Jr. as it’s obviously not healthy; but if you’re looking to calorie splurge for a delicious & inexpensive burger, try Carl’s Jr.

Carl’s Jr. is a place I’ve heard many great things about, however, since they don’t have any in Houston, I haven’t had the option of being able to enjoy a delicious Carl’s burger. Despite this, since I found myself in San Antonio for Spring Break, my girlfriend wanted me to try Carl’s Jr. really badly since she knew I would love it and boy, was she right! This location seemed to be built very recently so everything was squeaky clean. Upon first entering, I noticed the large menu with a bunch of unique burgers. I knew I wasn’t too hungry for a meal so I instead ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and split some chili cheese fries with my girlfriend. Being a fast food restaurant, I didn’t think much of the quality of this place, however, they really blew me out of the water. They brought the food to our table which is very unusual for me since most fast food restaurants require you to pick up the food from the counter. As though this wasn’t enough, an employee even came around while we were halfway through our meal and offered to fill our empty drinks and asked if we needed some extra ketchup or other sauces. The chicken sandwich was reminiscent of other fast food restaurants. however, the fries were much better than what I’ve tried elsewhere. They were crispy and just the right amount of chili was added so the fries wouldn’t be too soggy. Overall, for a fast food restaurant, I was more than pleased with everything Carl’s Jr. had to offer. I wish I got a chance to experience a whole meal but next time I get the chance, Carl’s Jr. is a place I will definitely visit again. A good fast meal and great customer service is always a win in my book. If you haven’t been here, definitely give them a try because you will not be let down.

I grew up eating @ Carl’s Jr in California and it was Great, expensive but the burgers were excellent! I went to the Carl’s Jr. in San Marcos– breakfast was ok– then we ate lunch – it was SOOSALTY– I was going to complain but I thought maybe it was just that particular store. WRONG this Carls was far worst as well as the amount of salt not only on the french fries but the burger was unbearable. The mini burritos were great — but no condiments(guaco-salsa-etc) and green burritos with no green sauce. We went thru drive thru and live in New Braunfels to far to turn around by the time we got home to eat– we were truly disappointed. Please beware– TOOSALTY – or over seasoned!!! Don’t be fooled by the Idiots that work there writing reviews!

Come here, Famous Star with cheese! GETINMYBELLY! Hee hee I’ve missed a REAL C’s Jr around here(the dump in Von Ormy can kiss my… toes!). With the original $ 6 burger, guacamole burger, chicken strips, criss cut fries(similar to Chik Fil-A’s waffle fries), salads, you name it. They got it and they STILL do it well just like I remember. Hopefully this time C’s Jr will do better in San Antonio than it did back in the 80s. Now all we need to add to the ‘Holy Trifecta’ is Hardee’s and the Green Burrito!
