Yeah y’know not bad i gotta say i enjoy eating here. I feel like the food is fresh and it can be healthy unless you’re getting fried chicken and french fries. In which case, good luck with the triple bypass. Get some brisket and green beans cole slaw beans… home cookin i dunno pure and simple. Y’know they really do it right here. Now from a connoisseurs perspective, you can hate on the BBQ and call it fast food but I think its pretty darn good here. Im no snob and I’m not gonna pretend i can taste the difference between this and any other bbq place. In fact this is right up there the best from my limited experience. Brisket and ribs are consistently well flavored and tender. Not dried out meat like another fancy bbq place i reviewed recently. Hatta’s gonna wear hats and playa’s only love you at the beach and bill millers is pretty darn good. Darn. Who says darn? Its a Unilocal review, i don’t wanna curse.

My wife and I have patronized this particular Bill Miller BBQ for breakfast tacos several times over the past couple of years. As the atmosphere in all of Bill Millers many locations is lacking, we always choose to utilize the drive through option. Unfortunately, the service provided at this particular location via its drive through lane is downright poor. The last two times we have purchased from this location, our orders have been wrong whereas the staff have shorted us a taco and/or salsa. When we have called to speak to management to complain about said issues(both times), we were directed to a «manager» that, to be generous, must have been at most a junior in high school. One can easily assume that Bill Miller does not put forth much effort in training its managers in the art of customer relations/service. If you must go to this location(which I strongly urge you to avoid), do NOT use the drive through! Also worth mentioning, Bill Miller tacos are rather overpriced at 1.79/potato & egg taco. NOTE: Bill Miller does NOT make their tortillas in-house rather they utilize pre-made bagged product. If you want fresh, in-house tortillas, try Tacos n’ Salsa(TNS) on Jones Maltsberger. Although a tad high in price, it offers much better tasting tacos in addition to a huge array of fillings.

They should call it bill miller chicken and breakfast because those things are the best here!!! The barbecue is less than average, but order the fried chicken, the tenders, or the breakfast and you’ll be amazed! The biscuits are moist, soft and delicious, and the fried chicken is juicy and full of flavor. These treats are what keep me coming back to bill miller, oh and with this heat, they sell the best tea in town!!!

I am writing this review as I sit through their drive through due to being shorted a breakfast taco for the second time. I have also had to come back because they have not given me any salsa, which I always ask for. Either they forget a breakfast taco, salsa, or both. I have called and complained in the past, but apparently that doesn’t do any good. I will be finding a new place to get my breakfast tacos.

Went for breakfast tacos at this Bill Miller’s the other day, and let me tell you. While the potato and tortilla tasted fantastic, the eggs were inedibly undercooked. I wound up stealing more of my husband’s pancakes than bothering with my own food. Very disappointing as it wound up being an almost 3 $ taco.

Things taste a bit old if you get breakfast late in the AM. Its just another Bill Millers, you been to one you been to them all. For anyone who has not been her it is a fast BBQ place that is not the best BBQ but not the worse, and prices are reasonable. they have a great selection of breakfast items i am a personal fan of the potato and sausage, and dont forget the salsa, it is not the same without it!

Went to miller bills a on the way to harlingen, ordered from the drive though. Ordered ribs and sausage. The ribs are not the best but my husband ordered the chicken strips with fries which was really good. The potato salad was good and we also ate a slice of pecan pie which was delicious. For a quick stop pretty averagely good place

Just not getting this company anymore. They hire some young people with what appears to be no training on customer care at all. I walked in with a positive attitude, great day. Then the girl at the cash register was having a bad day in my opinion. Took my order very quickly, I don’t come here much but give me time and options. IT’S YOURJOB!!! That is if the company wants to keep people. I most likely will not visit another Bill Miller’s unless the stomach is desperate. The food, good flavor, nice and crispy crust, and moist. The rest of it was good as well. But the customer service Just plain sucks.

This location has crazy drive thru traffic. Always seems to be backed up. Just get out of your car and walk in. The staff are very friendly and courteous. As Rudy says, I don’t go for the BBQ. I go for the fried chicken strips. My daughter is the chicken strip expert and says Bill Miller has the best. I love their green beans cooked in bacon and tomato sauce and always buy a pint instead of a serving. Now, how about that brisket? I finally tried it after being disappointed by Morton’s BBQ brisket. Bill Millers has the same brisket(Hmm…). It’s very tender. It has a very minor smoke ring, but does not have a good smoky aroma or flavor. If you dunk it in their sauce it does help.

Maybe its the New Yorker in me but whn I order BBQ anything i’m not expecting sauce on the side unless its extra. The fried chicken may be good but having a name like Bills BBQ I was really looking for good actual BBQ. Well this was my first stop in San Antonio so it has to get better. Good Fast Food.

This review is not for the food it is for the employees. I am sick of going to this location and not having a compete order. It never fails that I get home and am missing multiple items. Tonight I called to complain and was basically dismissed with a, ‘that’s to bad’ and a ‘I will make it up to you next time’. Seriously? I spent almost $ 30.00 on dinner for my family and you will get me next time? What about tonight with multiple hungry children? I asked when the manager would be working and surprise, he(Edmund) didn’t know. Yes, I can get in my car and drive back up there but seriously, I’ve done that before and I stopped for fast food dinner because I have no time, it’s late and we are all hungry. Convenient is not a word that this bill millers is allowed to use. My suggestion, if you have to eat here then dine in, better yet, just don’t eat here.

I don’t go to Bill Miller for the Bar-B-Q, cause like I’ve said before the only place I go out for Bar-B-Q is SaltLick. But, I do go to Bill Miller for the good fried chicken, chicken tenders, and that awesome sweet tea. I will put Bill Miller’s fried chicken up against any fast food fried chicken KFC, Popeye’s and Churchs. Bill Miller has them beat on taste and size. Bill Miller’s chicken tenders is my boys favorite thing to eat. The 3 piece chicken tenders with gravy, fries, and tea is $ 5.29. They always seem to serve you more then 3 pieces, so its almost like you get 4 pieces. I like the self serve rolls and fixings. I always like to dip the rolls in the gravy. Bill Miller’s vegetable soup with rice is my wife’s favorite. It’s perfect for when you’re under the weather, or trying to warm up on a one of the few cold days we have in San Antonio. One other thing I like at Bill Miller Bar-B-Q is the pecan pie. I don’t know of any other place that has better pecan pie. The whole pie is $ 8.99, and always goes great with your holiday meals. Like I said I don’t go to Bill Miller for the Bar-B-Q, I go for the fried chicken and tenders. I gave Bill Miller Bar-B-Q 5 stars for keeping my kids happy, and would recommend it for your kids. I always wonder why people call it Bill Miller’s and not Bill Miller?
