Excellent experience ! I brought in 2 leather jackets that needed lining alterations and a favorite blouse that needed to be taken in. Perfect work done at a reasonable price. I’m bringing in a leather car coat to get an estimate on taking it in a couple of sizes. Who knows, it might be worth it!

I brought my wedding gown in to be taken in a little. He put in four pins, and said it will take almost two weeks to do. We talked price, he wanted 375 dollars to make a small alteration and press it. That was more than I paid for the dress! I slept on it and spoke with some family that said they could get the alterations done at my house for under $ 100. I decided that it was not worth that price, but foolishly, I had already left the dress there. I called as soon as they opened, and he was very good about giving me the dress back. He didn’t even charge for the consultation, so there’s no harm in going to talk to the guy if you need a professional job done. You are going to pay for what you get though.

I try to mend or sew things myself to save money. I am not a pro at it, so I need a pro for the hard jobs. Located right off Rt 28 N(N Broadway) this independently owned shop helped me out big time. I had a unusual item that I needed mended, a medical sling for a hoyer lift, and the owner guy did a great job. Took over a week and a half but no bigger. The sling is like new and this guy has a new customer. $ 20 bucks. Cash only. Def would recommend.
