Romano’s Pizza

Been coming to Romano’s for 15 years and nothing has changed (in a good way!). Gotta go with the teriyaki chicken salad with house dressing — it’s the best!

I ordered a small BBW chicken pizza and it was much bigger than a small because they put a lot on it! Not the best tasting pizza compared to others like Tripolis but they give you a lot of toppings unlike other places!

Romanos is our go-​to pizza place! Delicious pizza and the salads and wraps are amazing!

We loved this place ordering here twice a week for our personal meals and I often ordered office meals here for my team. Lately though their service and quality has been seriously lacking. Deliveries taking over an hour freezing cold food and the wrong order. Tonight they called me back after my order to ask questions about the wrap is ordered that had nothing to do with the wrap I ordered-​we got the chicken finger ranch blt wrap they called asking if I wanted mayo on it? Then sent it with no ranch. I also ordered a small pizza w the butter garlic sauce (tomatoes make me violently ill) they sent me a small pizza with Marinara. When I called back to tell them I wanted the pizza I had ordered they acted as if they were doing me a great favor by sending me the correct order and insisted I send back the incorrect one they sent. Weird and rude. I hate giving them a low but they have consistently disappointed the last few weeks. I don’t think we’ll continue to give them our business.

Ramano’s has been my go to spot for lunch for the last 10 years. Quick, Friendly and Delish!

Real food good people. Small steak ad cheese fills you. But get a large 20 inches of delicious. nuff said.

Come on…20″ sub… awesome! This will easily feed two adults or one with a good appetite. The roll always soft and fresh. Hand TOSSED pizza here too, what more do you want? Stop in and strap on your feed bag cause your leaving full.

Service is awesome and the people here are very down to earth. Pizza was delicious, sauce wasn’t too overwhelming. Just the right amount of spices. Definitely going to make this a regular spot!

We ordered delivery last week. one entrée for chicken broccoli and ziti had 4 pieces of plastic in the food. We will not order from this place again. I can not find a decent pizza place in Salem.

Great food and huge portions you won’t leave this place hungry I would recommend it this place is awesome

Very basic. I used to get it kinda often because it was close to me, but now I don’t bother. Not a fan of their pizza, and everything else they serve is just so-​so.

They say there’s a drug problem here in NH and I have to agree!
The meat lovers pizza at Romanos is worse than Crack, it’s by far the best fliipin pizza I have ever had! I’m addicted.

My favorite for pizza and subs. They are the best in town. Hands down the best pizza sauce around. Beware: the large subs put those foot long crappers to shame. My fav is the steak and cheese, chunk style. Bite sized chunks of steak and American cheese. Definitely keeps me coming back.

Over an hour and a half to get 2 subs delivered somewhere that is 5 min away

Moved to Salem last month and this place is the best pizza place in town; first night we had subs and did not know they would be 20 inches; like to say my eyes were bigger than my stomach but they were not;
Definitely great place; ownership is great; fast and friendly

I love salad, but it is pretty rare that I crave one from a pizza shop. Romano’s does a great job with grilled (marinated) and teriyaki chicken salad. They put two servings (easily) worth of juicy meat, have the tastiest tangy house dressing, and serve with a large «pita», which is actually soft baked pizza dough. Although the lettuce mix is nothing special — iceberg with shredded carrot, tomato and cucumber — this has been my go-​to since high school. Even after living (and eating salad) all over the country, it still stands.
Also ordered a light cheese eggplant, tomato and garlic pizza recently and was pleasantly surprised at how well made it was, and full of toppings. I’m a fan. Romano’s is a really solid go-​to in Salem.

This is a favorite of many the Salem townie, but the quality has gone far downhill the last 6 months or so. One of the only places in Salem that does slices at lunchtime, the pizza has become very greasy, specifically the slices and the $ 5 dollar large cheese specials they have Monday and Tuesday. These ones are thrown together with little care for quality.
The subs and sandwiches are the way to go as they are affordable and easily enough food for two people. The calzones are the same. A decent staff and location make this place a local favorite, and it’s better than a chain pizza, but if the quality keeps slipping, I’ll be on the lookout for a new place.

Out of al the pizza and sub shops in the local Salem area, Romano’s is the most popular.
THe place is always busy and has peopel coming and going in to take out.
Like how they make the pizza right in front of you! Fun to watch while you wait.
The owner, is a real fun personality adn a nice guy. He is always there and knows his customers adn runs a good business.
I like the subs and pizza the most. I have not tried the calazone’s or salads.
If we order out, Romano’s is one of the 1^st places that we think of.
