Snip-its

I take my 5 year old here whenever she needs a cut! They are nothing but friendly! And they never mess up. We don’t mind switching up which stylist we use because they are all just as friendly!
The kids can watch a little show while getting their hair cut which sure makes things easier as a parent. They offer fair prices for feathers and add ons in the hair too! My daughter always opts for at least one pink and purple feather. This place is more than perfect for young kids!

Snip its round rock is awesome! They get really busy and have to wait a while but worth it! I have been taking my kids there since they were old enough to get their first haircuts. Now they’re 10 and 7. Staff are all so nice. Christina is the best and my kids love her! Love their organic and ladybug products too!

There are some things I really love about this place. Most of the ladies are pleasant and good at handling both parents and their children. I LOVE the toy after a cut! And I like the fun kid themed smocks and snack offered after the cut as well.
The main complaint I do have is how loud and overstimulated the whole set-​up is technologically speaking. Eee gad. If I wanted to go to a concert, movie theater, circus, or theme park, this place would be perfect. I simply don’t understand why there is soo much going on-​music, movie, individual movie for child in haircut chair… ahh! Am I getting old?
My second complaint is that you MUST sign in with your full name, phone number, and they also ask for an address. You cannot be served without at least the first two of these things. I would really like to simply go, pay in cash, and visit again when I want without a long record of my previous visits. This really, really disturbs me. I do feel like they treat customers according to what was previously written. So, if you’re a good tipper or you were super friendly, hooray for you. If, however, you and your husband were fighting over the cost of two children’s haircuts at this kid-​friendly place over the nearest Super Cuts, you may not have had the friendliest attitude. .. or the leeway to leave what would be considered a «good» tip. These things are all written down in your account and I think that’s not okay. I didn’t sign-​up to have a membership with them. Why aren’t I allowed to simply be a walk-​in customer? Fine, let people who want perks (like coupon mailers) to sign-​up, but otherwise, I should be free to be a routine walk-​in customer who is treated as such. I want to go into a place without a «record», without my past comments hovering over me. I want this option and I want it now!

This place gets one star because it looks fun and they give kids a prize. Also they comped my daughter’s god awful haircut when they saw how upset I was that I took her in for a professional cut and came out with the classic 1974 mom bowl cut. We went to snip its because the lines at pigtails and crew cuts are always so long. I won’t ever return. The staff was nice and they continue to be nice as they completely ignore whatever you ask for. My son’s hair cut was a lot better than my daughter’s, however the girl didn’t do what I asked and she finished and let him out of the chair as I was asking her to change the cut a bit. Of course at that point, it was too late– he was off and running to the prize machine. She smiled sweetly and shrugged her shoulders. The girl that created the monstrosity out of my sweet little girl’s hair did try to «fix» the damage when I told her it wasn’t what I had asked for but the «fixing» only made it worse, so I asked her to stop. Again, the staff is very nice as they ignore you, comp you for damage done right before Christmas photos, and they give prizes. If I blow dry, use a LOT of product and spend about 45 minutes on my daughter’s hair, I may get it to look ok for pics, but please save yourselves the money and trouble, buy a bowl, stick it on your kids head and snip away. The results will be the same.

The toys are «sterilized» at the end of the day in the same sink in which the mop used to clean the floor (including the restroom) is rinsed. A splash of Clorox and cold water, then the toys are dried and used the next day. Up to you, however.

We have come back two times since. Once to see Jennifer, and once to see Shamarie again. We are still in love with our hair, and the Snip-​its staff. See y’all again soon!

Horrible! I don’t know if they take stylists off the street or what, but this was the worst experience ever. My son’s first haircut and she completely butchered him. I specifically said NOT SHORT and just to clean it up. It could not be any shorter and now it’s sticking up and it never has before.
Truly the worst. I wish I had read the reviews first, there are plenty of bad reviews about the same thing happening.
I called to find out, her name is Jennifer. Please do not go to her… I cannot explain how terrible his hair is, so much worse than I ever could even imagine.

Though a bit on the pricey side, still appreciate that they will cut my son’s hair while he screams/​cries the entire time. Totally beats trying to cut my son’s hair myself.

Stylist cut WAY more length off of my daughter’s already short hair than I asked her to. We will never go back to Snip-​Its. My daughter went from having a bob to the back of her hair being «boy short.» It’s going to take at least 6 months to grow this bad haircut out.

Two months and we were still waiting for our sons hair to grow back. We are currently at another haircut place to TRY and fix it now but it seems impossible with all the patches. My poor baby stayed still the whole time even earning him good compliments from the stylist. I guess it was just a lack of experience or training. I was highly disappointed and continue to be. I will stick to the south location from now on. Please watch carefully as I feel the girls here need more training at this location.

Tasha was the best stylist! My daughter has long wavy hair and Tasha’s cut is so straight and curled under in the back. She took extra time to triple check the evenness. I will be making an appt with her next time.

We stopped going here as of several months ago. The last time we were there, we got a stylist that we had never had before and she was just so horrible. She kept pushing on the back of my son’s head, pushing his chin into his chest. He told her she was hurting him, but she dismissed his complaint with «that’s how I have to do it». Um yeah I don’t think so. It’s funny how no one before has ever needed to do that. She also burned him with the clippers too many times to count, bent his ears over so hard that she made him cry and then on top of all that, he ended up with a lousy cut (uneven in shape and length). I spoke with the manager and she did her best to smooth things over, but ultimately we decided it was no longer a place we needed to patronize. It’s too bad because my son got his very first cut there and he is now 7, but sometimes the best thing to do is just find a new place which we have.

Not such a great haircut last time. I noticed immediately that the line was crooked in the back and one side was longer than the other. Since I wasn’t sure if kiddo’s hair had dried wavier on the one side, I waited until after baths to make the final call. Yes… obviously longer and thicker in one side. Not only that, but bangs were cut about a ¹⁄₃ inch shorter then preferred. Ugg.
Returned the following day for a complete redo. Lily did a great job fixing Jennifer’s work. Next time we will call ahead and make sure Lily is there. Lily is amazing!

Went to Snip-it’s for my sons first haircut. It was an awesome experience. It’s a fun atmosphere and the staff was super patient with my squirmy little guy. Love the final result! I’d definitely recommend to anyone with a little one.

GREAT for first hair cuts! They do pictures and a certificate! Staff is very friendly and know what they are doing, too. I definitely recommend this place! Only thing is it is a little expensive.

Love this place! They have been cutting my girls’ hair for a couple years now. Sometimes the wait is longer than others, but it’s a popular place for a reason. They do their job well! It usually takes 20 – 30 minutes for my girls to have their hair cut and the longest I’ve waited was about 45 minutes. (They told us up front it would be a while so we went around the corner to the pizza place, had a slice of pizza and came back.)
Not only have I been pleased with regular haircuts for my girls, but Snip Its has also styled their hair for first communion portraits and family Christmas card photos.
The stylists are all so focused on the kiddos and know that sometimes tears happen. They have a ton of tricks up their sleeves to help settle kids and get their haircut! I also love that they seem to be a good team, they help each other out and keep a positive atmosphere.

I brought my 2.5 year old daughter here for her first haircut and it was a fantastic experience! I purchased the first haircut package (it was seriously like $ 4) and received two pictures, a certificate and a lock of her hair. Their staff is fantastic and my daughter really, really enjoyed it. They sprinkled fairy dust on her, she received a fun little prize and we purchased a fun little pony to add to her collection. I will definitely return!

Love this place. Jennifer has cut my sons hair a couple of times and does an awesome job. Very friendly. Definitely recommend.

This is the only place we take our son for a haircut. Miss Lily is wonderful with him and always does a great job. This place would really get 5 stars but here’s why I am giving 4:
1. they are always busy and have a wait (that’s good for business but annoying to parents)
2. The toys there need to be cleaned
that’s it! :)

My daughter has been here 4 times and has always walked out with a very nice haircut (trim, really). They are very friendly, patient and make my girl feel special.
The toys in the waiting area, though. Please clean them ! They are absolutely filthy. Grime, hair, who knows what is stuck all over each one. I didn’t feel comfortable letting my daughter or son touch them. I’m not scared of a little dirt here and there, but the toys looked like they had never been wiped down. Some new batteries would be terrific as well.
